Electro is used for fresh file speedruns because the base weapon with no unlocked traits is very powerful but for "NG+" categories, in which you can max out weapons, the Dreadbound is the best gun.

The Dreadbound does that to Ophion if it has Explosive Shards III, Expanding Shards III, and 4th Shard ^^ Ophion is pretty weak to all maxed weapons except maybe the Hollowseeker and the Rotgland Lobber.
It's the getting used to the mechanics that gets easier, my GF watched every boss and she didn't play the game, she thought they got stronger, I thought they got easier but realized I was just getting better.

Dash melee jump in that sequence and as fast after one another as possible
@@WacKaKO Exactly that and because dash and jump both have intensity (the longer u press) u can do slight twists/variations of that long jump!
But there is no NG+ in Returnal. Do you mean you beat the game just from 1 to last biome but not in fresh file?

Is theDreadbound weapon guaranteed in the 6 biome? I see it in most speedruns, im kinda new to the run
Nevermind, i figured out you play on a save file with only the dreadbound unlocked i guess, so you always get the weapon
@@LuckyNumberSlevn Yea that's pretty much it. Doesn't mean you will get it every run though but it increases the odds a lot.

only the two first are difficult, the rest are a bit too easy.
I find the 2nd (Ixion) and the 4th (Hyperion) to be the "hardest" in runs. But the real hardest stuff is weapon RNG and Nemesis bug RNG ^^
