😂😂😂 that little under breath curse ahahah true to the game not new to it 🤣 keep at it Dave 💪🏾 love the vids
Thank you for this video ! I did mine and your wiring helped me . One thing I would want to know is the measurements to cut the hole for the light . It’s the thing I worried about the most ! Love the Channel !!!
I been learning so much from your videos. I'm still on the search for a 1972 C10 but in the mean time ill keep learning.
Awesome! Good luck with the search!
First time ever on the internet someones confesses to making a mistake! Kudos to Dave! 2020 is really special! Great video and informative as usual
Thanks for watching brother!
These are the best man! Thank y’all from Fort Worth Texas
Thanks for watching!
thank you so much for the link for the tool ive been looking for a long time that would crimp both ends at same time
Absolutely!
Love your videos, you always do a great job of explaining everything. Thanks
Thank you for the feedback!
No surprise another great video common sense explanation thank you....
Thanks so much for the positive feedback!
I was thinking of canceling that part since the cabin for me C10 1968 does not go with the line but I see this video I thought it would be the truck to follow. thanks!
Thank you for watching!
I like how he tied the wires together at the brake switch pigtail instead of just hacking into the wiring, and THANK YOU for to tip on those terrible connectors used to tap into wiring. I have had to fix so many electrical issues because of people using those miserable connectors. What is the name of that specific crimp tool used in the video? Do you have a link for it? Where do I find the individual terminals for pigtails?
The connectors are called spade connectors and you can find them almost anywhere. We buy them in an assortment on Amazon usually. A link to the crimping tool is in the video description.
I'd probably use a couple sets of blade style disconnects for that wiring, so it's easy to work on the unit in the future.
Doing so practically guarantees you'll never, ever have to work on it again! Murphy's law...
Good tip!
Can you guys do the 1960/66 Chevy c10 fleet side hidden tailgate arms please 👍🏼
We'll check into that one!
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV thank you guys
What is the part number for the complete cargo and third brake light assembly?
Where did you run that ground wire to? And was the white cable on the switch power?
where do you connect on an 86 c10 also where do you get connector to plug in
I heard they leak. I almost bought one. I like a lot is this a second Version?
We haven't had any problems with our leaking. Maybe the leaky ones come from another manufacturer? Ours simply uses a gasket like the original lens did, so no more chance of leaking than the original part had.
ok thank you 👍 next on list love your videos 👌
What are those electrical connectors and removal tool called?
The removal tool is simply a small flat blade screwdriver, the connectors are called spade connectors and you can find them almost anywhere. We buy them in an assortment on Amazon usually. A link to the crimping tool is in the videos description.
Will these work on a 53 chevy truck?
It won't fit the contour of the roof exactly like it does on 67-72, but we see no other reason it couldn't be installed and wired up.
Would this work on a 1985 Chevy c20?
Nope, unfortunately just for the earlier trucks right now
Does it work for 73-87 c10 trucks. I have a 75 with a cargo light .
It should, they both use the same 1157 light bulb
@@Thousand_yard_King ok thanks.
It' does not work for 73-87. The lense is a different size on those cargo lights. Something should be available soon though for the Squarebody.
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV ok thanks.
@@chevylandt.v We do carry an LED cargo light for the Squarebody, but it's not a 3rd brake light, which we assume is what you're looking for. Here's a link to the cargo light video: ruclips.net/video/ddVJ3uvELfY/видео.html
Where do get those butt connetors
They are called Spade Connectors and they are available on Amazon as well as most Hardware and Auto Parts stores.
This guy is aging like a dog. 7 to1
Possibly even faster!
