the prequels' worlds are intricately developed and all of this hard-work is overshadowed by the bashers who complain about "terrible George Lucas dialogue" or "too much CGI".........i don't think people realize how much work and how much time was put into making these fantastic, mystical movies that are Episodes 1-2-3.
Darth Maul54sith just because effort is put into something doesn't mean it's good. I admire and respect everyone who help create this beautiful universe but that doesn't mean all the movies are good
Though the dialogue does need a bit more work in the emotions department, I do have to give them credit, I was just amazed and blown away by the detail that went into this world building process. Like for example about the Neimodians planet, it's little things like this that astounds me about the fantasy genre and I really appreciate the effort that went into this. And I would've loved to see the bridge planet in the clone wars, and the Mygeedo war as well.
Really, the Prequels only suffered from some rough execution. Otherwise they're perfectly solid. And Lucas has never made any secret about how much he struggled with dialogue. That was evident in the OT as well despite bias towards it.
Looking at Kashyyyk in ROTS, I'm actually glad that George elected to swap it out for Endor in ROTJ; redwood forests in California and Matte Paintings like in the Christmas Special could not have done justice to the vision of the Wookie homeworld that we get in the third Episode.
This is why revenge of the Sith is better than the force awakens. Force Awakens had absolutely no unique planets and revenge of the Sith has some of the most unique and interesting planets.
My only real critique of the Prequels was that I WANTED MORE! WE NEED TO SEE INSIDE OF THE JEDI TEMPLE DURING ORDER 66. CMON LUCAS FILM DO IT IN THE KENOBI SERIES AS A FLASHBACK. WE ALL WANT IT!
Such is the nature of the business - look at Boba Fett. Half a dozen subtle variations in the Original Trilogy's development and he only got like, what? 10 minutes of air time?
I wouldn’t say episode three is about The Clone Wars. The Clone Wars was always something the prequels were known for. But the films kind of just gloss over.

@@emersonmcaree1217 What's bad about them aside from some dialogue?

@@emersonmcaree1217 Except the movies are good.
those cato-nemoidia designs look magnificent

I completely agree
Matte painting. Not map.
@@kitgusto2390 Thanks for the heads up!

i wish we could see all the worlds they made for order66 montage
Natt Johnson one of them was featured in the clone wars show. It's called Ringo Vinda.
damn, I wish they could make a longer battle scene for mygeeto, felucia, cato neimoidia, kashyyyk, utapau and saleucami
Order 66 is one of the best star wars scenes ever made
@@MichaelM28 You are pathetic.
I love star wars 😍
I really hope we get to see more world building
This aged well
@@certainpointofview3860 Did it really?
Is it possible to learn this power?
Not from the Sequels...
I wish more Jedi executions had been added to the Order 66 montage.
Sorry I like for what it is
@@jswatch9270 I do like the montage we got. It was slightly shorter but it had cooler b roll footage of the battles.
@@TheBrickGuy7939 well I love it
Well got Order from Clone Wars Season 7 and Fallen Order
@@i-6083 And the Bad Batch.
Interesting enough a lot of the art for Cato Neimodia was never seen in the movie but was later used in the force unleashed 2 which is a nice touch
The Clone Wars also used the art for when they were briefly in Cato Neimodia

Kashyyyk is the best looking environment in the film and its so clear why
A hundred clones killing the Jedis over the galaxy, but 2 clones to kill the most powerful Jedi, GENIUS!
lol
they were his two body guards. that were there to try to catch him off guard
wow a year's worth of work for only 4 minutes or so
Such is the nature of the business - look at Boba Fett.

When i watched this and this was sick.
nice video I subscribed keep then coming
1:41 - The tree.
0:51 I think it was worth watching for Kashyyyk.
George actually let them watch the Holiday Special?
amazing
did they keep in the shot of the last jedi killed in order 66 (on saleucami?) clones' dead bodies like they show here?
wait, the Clone Troopers CGI too!?
Huh. Kashy-yk. I have never heard that pronunciation before.
This is genius, two clines killing the most powerful Jedi. A hundred clones killing the Jedis across the galaxy.

I love the real model
Would've been much cooler if it were Order 1. Order 66 is like, why?
They shot Kasheeyk right after the Avatar crew left.
Darth Tyranus more like Darth Tyrant. Darth Sidious more like Darth Hideous. Darth Vader more like Darth Traitor.
OMG look at that CGI tree and CGI beach!!!!!!!!!! too much CGI!
Did you watch the documentary? they literally explained it wasn't CG
