Absolutely LOVE the incorporation of the audiobook clips. Thompson's voices for Thrawn and Pellaeon especially are fantastic and how I always imagined those characters sounding. Mikkelsen's really good at Canon Thrawn, but nobody's gonna top Thompson for the OG, Mac Daddy, Big Boss, EU Thrawn.
I think the worst Thrawn is TIE Fighter

Life day will be covered when I do a video about wookiees specifically. Explaining Kashyyyk's imperial cordon during the galactic civil war was enough of a nod to the holiday special thats more relevant to kashyyyk's place in the wider galactic history

Aside from the very agressive fauna, kashyykk is one of star war's planet i would actually like to live in, especially in the coast cities, clean air, nice climate, lots of vegetation, being friends with one of the most loyal and brave beings in the galaxy , nice place.
I still find it funny that Jacen's thugs just wore Espo armor in slightly darker colors. Since they were the first baddies of a Han Solo book. Not sure if intentional or just lazy. Also ig sure if theit gear was ever described as Espo like or that's just what the illustrators for the later Essential guides chose.

There are only two things I liked from the new star wars cacon, the in service to the Republic comic where Plo Koon actually gets a dueling feat against Ventress that doesn't conflict with old legends and exploring Kashyyyk in fallen order, I like all the planets in that game besides Dathomir
JFO felt extra weird because it's like they were playing with the "Nightsisters don't have Rancors" by making most of the wildlife Rancor Like from the little mini rancors to thr giant bat thing.
That comic you mention is part of the old EU with the TCW comic series
@@tidusLV426 @Tidus No it's not. When I say old EU I am not talking about legends where officially the TCW show and comic series are part of legends. I'm talking about the old EU which is totally incompatible with TCW. In the same comic series you have Plo Koon fighting Oppress and giant chicken leg maul standing in the background. None of which is old EU compatible.
can u even have all forest planets where instead of big oceans its just a ton of rivers and maybe some big lakes?
I don't know about real life if that's possible but Myrkr, Yavin, and Dathomir (pre-tcw) had similar ecologies. Kashyyyk does seem to have oceans as we've seen in Revenge of the Sith

Tadd where do you get all of your music rips and sound effects from? I've been looking around and cant seem to find good rips or music loops
I use a lot of music from SWTOR, KOTOR, TFU, and Republic Commando as they dont trigger a copywrite strike in the algorithm. Occasionally, I'll use fan made compositions of John WIlliam's actual film scores. Samuel Kim Music is my go to and I credit him in the description of every video I use his work in, as per his request if you read his channel bio.
as for sound effects, I was lucky enough to record a lot of them from the official Star Wars Souboards on Star Wars . com before they disabled them due to Adobe Flash dying
