- this was taken from a live concert bra Hugh did in Lugarno 10 years apart from today, the sound is purely African and you can enjoy it whenever you want because the performance is just exceptional rest in peace Bra Hugh, rest in peace Fela Kuti your music will live forever
I respect the fact this guy is actually singing in clean Nigerian Pidgin English.
Emotional. A tribute from one legend to another legend. Rest in power, Fela and bra Hugh! Your music is forever.
🇿🇦+🇳🇬=1 Despite our difference...let no one tell you otherwise, from a South African to the rest of brothers and sisters across Africa❤...1 love...❤
❤️💛💚 one love from Angola
What a sexy version....... Fela would be so proud.
RIP to both legends ❤️
One of the masters of African Jazz music. The Late Hugh Masakela will forever be remembered as champion for Africa.
SOME OF THE PUREST MUSIC EVER MADE!
The congaist is definitely Ghanaian with all that "aborabor boso3" and "ajei" 😂..... Hugh Masakela the African giant doing it for another giant..classic things ...Legends live forever.
Yh there is a Ghanaian in there bro
His name is Francis Forster (Fuster) I’m not sure the spelling of his surname
I was thinking the same!😂

game recognize game, two of Africa's most illustrious sons on a great piece
Super fabulous black people from God's own heart.
That "adgeye" and the "bobobobo" is all Ghanaian slang and sayings "jo jo jo" is Ga for "dance dance dance" is just beautiful the eay many cutures were added into this
Saw this live in Rio-Brazil, about a decade ago… amazing vibes. Thank you Mr. Masekela
I find he was so underrated eh smh and has so much talent my God may he continue to rest in peace he was just an amazing man 🤗💕❤️💯
Both where. I am sixty from Suriname/Holland. I have a special love for Fela. Thank God I have seen him play. Hugh is becoming one of my greatest favourites. ❤❤❤

The music that will live forever and ever! The best of the best. Thanks Bra Hugh and Fela Kuti. Rest in power dear legends!
Where are we going to find guys like these. Kaya!
Fela would be proud. 💚💛❤👍🏽👍🏽
Is it possible to get better than this? Musically this is flawless, in my eyes, and it's captivating, inspiring, really great stuff. Almost anything else is not worthy. Probably it is my emotional state. But why no black Africans in the audience. I don't get it. I think the message is for everyone but the ones who suffer need this the most.
This is what we call music lady Na master
The respect that these legends, bro' Hugh and Fela had for each other is testament to this performance. May their souls continue to rest in power and may their music live forever.
I'm glad I bumped into this video✊🏾

Wow this African music at its best. I love, love love Fela's Lady, but Hugh did this one excellently. Rip Africa's legends.
What I love is that all these years later, Bra Hugh still started out with "this one is for Fela". Incredible!
The whole concert is simply Masekela at his best and I loved every minute of it. RIP Bra Hugh. You are missed sorely!
Hey can you tell me which concert this one is?

Talk about Live performance. Tops Bra Hugh
may GOD bless Africa and your legacy
