Finally a proper use for warp drive mods.
The Nuker which is exactly why I wanted to show it off
I still have this crazy idea of setting up like a mega server using the dark multiplayer thing using something like this and a handful of mods to make something like this really interesting and a really intriguing space race. Definitely would need something along the lines of Civ Pop, the Kolonization pack and pretty much everything else USI. Near future tech for more parts. Possibly some of the larger parts packs, but it's just a crazy dream lol.

I just landed on Laythe for the first time yesterday
The last star is a pulsar (a compresed star core after a supernova that spins 10-1000 times a second and can travel up to 5% light speed)
Ps there should be no planets as the supernova would eridicated them all.
justas drigotas this is not the case as new evidence from the Kepler Telescope has found that planets possibly form After the supernova explosion, due to debris from the star and the fact that the white dwarf still has the density to draw a dust ring around it... also, planets in the outer part of the star system, have been theorized to being able to survive the supernova explosion..
Also let’s be clear, explosion is a misnomer. Much like the Big Bang is not really a bang at all, what happens during a supernova event is that as the core turns to iron, and the different layers of the star begin to collapse on itself, it’s more of a “ shedding” process of the gas formerly making up the star, and not an entire star blowing up in a huge explosion..
So in summary, there is no evidence that all planets would be vaporized and or destroyed during a supernova event.
I would love to build a HUGE interstellar vessel using the Interstellar mod, and send a massive population of Kerbals on a one-way trip to Volco. On the mothership would be parts for a colony, and some rovers, and possibly a few satellites to go and scan the rest of the system. Dude
Osiris appears to be some kind of neutron star, based on the small size and incredible rotation speed. Likely either a pulsar or a magnetar.
+Wizard of Tenks I thought of that, too. But, to be a true neutron star, I guess it would not give away visible light like that, but only in pulses, unless it had an accretion disk around it. But I guess a precisely modelled neutron star would be too much to ask.
@@MephLeo aren't neutron stars incredibly hot, though? Like, they're the extremely compressed core of formerly massive stars, i'm pretty sure that for a very long time the temperature on their surface is in the millions of degrees.

9:00 I think it was because of the huge explosion of the supernova, that left what seems to be a nuetrons star (a pulsar)

I honestly really like the planets in this mod.
Osiris is very small but was also spinning REALLY fast so its a neutron star.
You probably already knew this, but having moons in the gaps of planetary rings is absolutely a thing that happens in real life. In fact, that's where the gaps in Saturn's rings actually come from! There's little "shepherd moons" in them, sweeping out a little clear stripe along their orbit.
If you look inside Saturn's rings carefully, you see that its moons are orbiting between its rings

What do you mean a proper black hole affect is going to be added. The black hole is already fine because you can't actually see a black hole.

+aazo5 you are right and wrong, you cannot see a black hole, but you can see it’s effects, the gravitational distortion, etc.
Once I git gud at KSP, this will probably be the first mod I get. Thanks Kottabos!
I may be wrong, but I think the last star (Osiris) is a pulsar, as pulsars tend to rotate very fast.

Are you sure Pandora doesn't look more like Kerbin?
The Sun is named the same as for some reason we were unable to ascertain, KSP has some interesting issues when renaming kerbin or the sun, and also when reparenting the sun other issues arise. It's easier to migrate kerbin to another body than to make the sun orbit a different body. (I started Kopernicus, and worked on it up to around 2015 when Thomas took over) - Tek
The second star is supposed to be a take on that conspiracy theory of the niburu star or whatever it’s called that swoops in close to our start and causes all sorts of shenanigans lol

you can use the plus and minus keys to zoom in and out without the mouse wheel. i think its only on num pad though.
xavier k. haberle can you? interesting ... never actually thought of trying those keys in the tracking station as the scroll wheel is so intuitive

I hope there are biomes with some cool text for the science experiments.
When I downloaded the mod the other stars orbited Kerbals star and when I left Kerbin's SOI I was immediately going at some crazy speed out of the galaxy
Aelion is- with its red spot on the north( instead of south)- just Jupiter flipped over!
the reason that moon orbits inbetween the two rings is because it eatsup all the rocks in the way so its not really orbiting in between
Volko is clearly an analog to Vulcan, it has the same coloring, clouds, etc that Vulcan had in the Star Trek series..
the reason its smoother on one side is probably because its tidally locked in its orbit.

Doubt i could, my ksp already crashes every few hours. Probably because it already takes up 3.1 gb of ram, and its only a 32 bit process, so it doesnt work well with over 2gb... Cant wait for 64 bit versions!

That small Star is most likely a neutron star. Notice its pretty shaky, That is because a neutron usually isn't stable.

+Alec Lipscomb It's a white dwarf. Neutron stars are really dense and tiny.
TheLittlestMig First of all, I know what a Neutron star looks like, and second of all, it was spinning far too fast to be a white dwarf, at least from what I saw.
No, you don't. I can't recall any event where someone photographed a neutron star. If you can find a photograph, please post it and prove me wrong. Artist's impressions won't do.
It spins fast but not fast enough to be a neutron star or pulsar. Those things spin like crazy. The Crab pulsar has pulse length of 33 milliseconds. That means it spins around 150 times every single second. I can assure you, it's pretty much faster what you saw in video.

This mod sounds awesome, But the first thing that made me rip my hair out, Is calling KERBIN Kerbal.
If I had a good computer this would be the first game I got, probably with this mod too, but I'm broke so...
But it's amazing the scale of this game, which makes you realize the scale of real life space too. I love it!!!

***** The phenomenon that Hoth copies is actually quite common. Satellites form around gas giants and gather materials and clear corridors in the rings. So as an interstellar astronaut, you'd be doing quite a bit of smiling.

Osiris is most likely a neutron star because of its size and distance from its planets. And the mod maker must like xmen as well because he named the first star system after Magneto's daughter Polaris

As well as a possible book one, Eden, which is in the book 'children of time', who's inhabitants are huge sentient spiders.

The ore issue is because it's rediculously hard or impossible to add ore maps to bodies using kopernicus, im not entirely sure. I havnt came across it anywhere, not even in the stock planet configs.

According to the fourms there is a wormhole near Jool that leads to a new solar system.
KittyCatPlays Interstellar reference?
It's a recent addition. And it's a direct reference to Interstellar as they have called the new system Gargantua and it is two planets around a black hole. The planets added so far are Mann's and Miller's I think.
Can't wait for the rest to be added. It looks so cool with the Endurance parts pack installed too.
