    White gold in siwa oasis:
Yes,it is the salt lake area, siwa oasis has about 60 million tons of salt and maybe more, where salinity in these lakes is 5 times that of sea water and it is considered a national treasure of egypt.
Salt is important because it is an important element in thousands of industries, it is used in medicines, agriculture, nutrition and thousands of other industries.
Salt extraction began in siwa oasis in 2011, which differs in quality from the navigation of Alexandria and el.arish.
Rock salt is used in sculpture and salt caves , which helps to extract negative energy from human body and helps to melt snow from roads and airports or sell it to oil companies, pharmaceutical companies and salt food.
As for salt lakes it is considered a destination for tourist from all over the world. It helps reduce chest allergy ,and also helps to remove negative energy from the body.

my deepest sorrow at the moment is the lack of a family, in western culture it is not so easy to start a family even thou I am 30 years old.. especially if you live in a big city.. I also admire them for the simple and human oriented life they live.. We should do our best to learn from other cultures and apply what is best in our own lives! Great video, thank you!

    • @PavelAdventurer
      @PavelAdventurer  5 лет назад +2

Hey bro! Thank you so much. Yes western culture is facing many societal challenges. Materialistically we are rich but overwhellemed and socially we are very poor and isolated. It can be hard to find balance between material and spiritual life in western world. Westerners "managed" to uproot themselves from its roots and disconnected from nature. I wish you all the best in your life!

I'm an Amazigh too (I speak Tamazight and understand perfectly what these tribes say) and this type of conservative tradition came from the Arabs who invaded North-Africa at the time that lived in Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Mauritania etc. They brainwashed and suppressed the tribes well as you can see. Very sad to to see what has become of our Amazigh women. Our women were leaders, queens, teachers and artists. There are still some Amazigh communities in Morocco where the woman is the leader in the household doing everything herself; working, raising kids etc. Strong women.

No importa During the symposium on the settlement of the Mediterranean organized at the beginning of October at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, by the Midi-Pyrénées and Alexandria regions, a Franco-Egyptian collaboration presented its results of genetic analyzes carried out on the population from the oasis of Siwa, located in the Libyan desert, in the west of Egypt.
Why did you get interested in Siwa oasis?
Farha el-Chennawi: In this oasis, there is a population that, in addition to Arabic, speaks a second language of its own. This group, which has many cultural particularities compared to the rest of the Egyptian population, lives fairly withdrawn, with a strong inbreeding. Based in particular on linguistic affinities, historians believe that this population is part of the group of Berbers, which is found throughout North Africa and also in Spain. According to this hypothesis, it would be the most eastern population of Berbers, and the only one in Egypt. We wanted to know if genetics could provide additional information.
    How did you do it?
With the necessary permits, we went to Siwa. The first step was the selection of the population to be studied. We have retained the people who belong to this somewhat closed community, and whose ancestors have all lived in Siwa since the fourth generation. With Naïma Louali, from the CNRS language dynamics laboratory in Lyon, we also verified that they spoke the language of Siwa. Then we took blood samples. We chose the HLA system as a genetic marker, a portion of DNA that has been widely studied for its implications for the immune system: its variability is well known to many populations.
Did you actually characterize these Siwi as Berbers?
The combinations of the various forms of the genes of the HLA system in the population studied in Siwa correspond in 70% of the cases, to sequences typical of the Berber populations. For the rest, these are sequences that are found in Egyptian and even European populations. The population of Siwa therefore did not live in complete isolation. This is what was clarified by the immunological analyzes carried out on the same blood samples by Jean-Michel Dugoujon, from the anthropology center at the Paul-Sabatier University in Toulouse. In studying immunoglobulins, proteins found in the blood, he particularly observed components originating from West Africa. We could not detect them with the HLA system because we lack data for this region of the world. It is possible that slaves, who came with caravans, settled in Siwa and mixed with the Berbers, probably present for more than 6,000 years.

I read that siwa has a history of homosexuality relation, and even weddings, is it still visible or completely erased by the islamisation??

The English of the narration is practically perfect and fully intelligible. HOWEVER, it omits the articles ("the" and "a"), which admittedly are one of the hardest things for non-English speakers to get, especially those whose native languages don't have them. May one helpfully suggest that for your next video you get the script reviewed by a native English speaker or a compatriot with a degree in English?

Silas Snape I did not say I couldn't understand the audio; in fact I said it was fully intelligible. I just suggested his next video would be improved by improving the English grammar.
