This is kind of my problem at the moment which i don't know how to solve myself... But not only the banding i have brassy hair all trough the lenghts as well which even makes it harder to make it more even.

I have a question about the root tap. Did you use eq processing solution or eq crystal clear same as all over tone. I’m a bit confused because on video you said crystal clear but on the description only says processing solution.

I have dark hair and my goal has always been to go lighter. I can never achieve it without it turning orange :(
When you bleach dark hair it will turn orange the trick is to bleach it past orange to light yellow and then tone it.
You have so much talent. I love your passion! I am interested in your opinion on the matter that I have a lot of hair and a couple salons charged me extra just for a cut because of it. Is that fair business and/or shouldn't they disclose that before hand? I didn't complain but I was definitely shocked

You are amazing sylvia, I would love to know what to use if I wanted to just do my roots? I have done in the past "ugh" I hate to say it clairol frost with the cap but I do not want to do that again. So I haven't used anything and my roots are bad now. Sylvia please help what can product I use?

Hi! My hairdresser does a platinum blonde highlight all over and then uses a toner but my hair always ends up looking too silver after and I want it to look like a bright blonde! Any suggestions?
Hi Sylvia! Thank you for informative video. I do hair up from you in Marin. I usually allot 2 hours for roots along with hi/lo lights and cut and blow dry. I was curious the length of time you allot for the process you shared in your video? Also, what would you charge for something like that? I have such a hard time charging more for longer, thicker hair and multiple services. How do you display your rates? I love watching your videos whether it's hair or makeup. Keep 'em coming!
This is what I DESPISE as a regular. NO CHARGES TO BE SEEN ANYWHERE. WHEN I ASK MY STYLIST- their answers are f-ing unacceptable. I can quit a hairdresser of 10 yrs in 2 seconds. Guys- you gotta make a living but so do we. And if you keep SURPRISING US at check out-- we’ll be, CHECKING OUT.

What Brand, Color & Developer do you use on your own hair! Your color is Exactly, what I want! I'm actually a licensed cosmetologist, but I've been out of the business for 15 years. Color wasn't a strong suit for me & didn't do much of it, having 2 businesses at nursing/Rehabilitation homes with the Elderly. Any info you give me would be greatly appreciated! Damn this came out gorgeous!!! If youre interested in a deep color dive video, I would love to hear about how you choose a corrective toner for each situation. P, B, V, NA, N, VB, T- they all claim to cancel warmth and its VERY confusing! I'll see one toner family used a few times and feel like I'm starting to understand its purpose, then someone else will correct the same problem with a completely different formula and it sets me right back at zero. Please help! xoxo- struggling cosmo student
like when to use NA or B, or when to use T over P, when do you even use P, when is VB useful and how to (proportion wise) mix it with other toners so it's merely corrective and not a fashion color, what are common combinations of these corrective toners, how do you correct warmth when your target tone is still somewhat warm (like beige or sand tones), why would colorists use the same corrective family in different levels (like I've seen 9P and 7P in the same formula), when is pre-toning with color depositing shampoos useful over just corrective toning, and if you do pre-tone what toners are no nos because itll be too much corrective pigment, etc etc etc

Confused. Did you highlight the root area with 10 vol and flashlight and then color with regrowth with 6N?
Can I ask , for my own hair, why did you do a root touch with the Shades 9n after you already did the permanent color 6nn?

I have a question… the 09P was diluted with Crystal Clear to a level 10? My (inexperienced) brain says diluting 09P with CC should “dilute” the tone, how (chemically speaking) is it that 09P when diluted reaches a level 10?

why we don't see the process? or rather why wouldnt someone show that transformation? This is the Nth video where we are shown amazing results in the end - but not in video form but with a photo. I can make a video like that too ya know.... i just realized :))) sorry lol
