Hội An floods October 2022 - amazing views from sky & land

The typhoon on October 14-15 brought heavy rains, resulting in more flooding in the Hội An ancient town.

Thank you! Local people have adapted to the recurring floods here, and built lots of trade around it, such as boat tours through the walking streets, and coffee shops especially with flood views. It’s really inspirational how something so devastating doesn’t bring people down here, but is viewed as both an opportunity and a way to be grateful for when things are going well..

September and October usually see the most typhoons and rainfall. The floods usually last a few days at a time, and life goes on in the meantime.
