Hi! Thanks for watching my tribute video to Michael Bay's Transformers. This franchise was one of the biggest parts of my childhood and definitely one I will remember forever. Despite the movies being controversial, and some even objectively poorly done, they still hold a very special place in my heart and I always wanted to make something about them, so here it is. To say I worked a lot on this video would be an understatement, this is without a doubt the most effort I've ever put into an edit, so I hope it's good!

As much as these films get flak, you gotta admit the Bayverse films had a certain charm and style that only Michael Bay could deliver.
First 3 were good and amazing, it could just end there.
The others are tragic but too long, but glad they introduced us with the Quintessa and Unicron (not what in my head)

These movies are so much better than the internet says, and its insane that despite their age, they still have the absolute best CGI!
It's nuts how ridiculously good the cgi is looking back at the films. "Still hold up" is what ppl say and it more than just holds up, looks better than most of the rushed stuff we see nowadays

The CGI is great and Peter Cullen always gives 110%, but the garbage writing, all the weird racism and porny camera work on women can't be overlooked.
As someone who grew up with the Bayverse, this was such a huge nostagia trip!

No one could deny the fact that the Bayverse Transformers have the best action fights and storyline among many movies. This is the world. A world where Transformers become part of our life. This is a message to all who have yet to see this movie. They will be always be a part of us.

I'm a major Bayverse fan, I love every movie, and I went into this expecting some pretty okay video about all Transformers media or something. I did NOT expect this masterpiece of Bay Transformers love and appreciation, and I had a huge smile on my face by the end of thr video. You even had my main man's Shockwave in there.

I think the first was the best , second was alright, 3rd was mid but still entertaining. 4th was entertaining but felt like a spinoff, same with the 5th but at that point it plays like a comedy with action. Also the battle at the end of the 5th one was sixk

I loved everything about this edit. Arrival on Earth, the Decepticons as a genuine threat, the Autobots as badasses, the concept of betrayal, and Optimus and the idea of faith. I literally can't stop watching this. Especially the "Autobots". You really nailed it with New Divide. It was a very good choice to hear the vocals time to time. I don't know if you'll see this comment on such an old video, but (especially after the success of the Vader, you must have a lot of notifications.) I think this is the best you've done. I really admire your work.

Absolutely speechless, the bayverse of transformers is uttterly the most confusing franchise with its ups and downs, but the community surrounding it has really given true depth to the essence of what is considered a much realistic take on Optimus Prime and humans towards each other. I'm no critic or analyst when it comes to my favorite robots in disguise, but I just really appreciate the dedication that went into this video and how much of the tribute itself captured a somewhat complex story to what was seen as another explosion-packed thrill by Michael Bay to the naked eye. Watching the more recent movies of transformers has me really excited to see what the live action side of transformers has to offer, and this was a nice way of ending off the series that could have been more. There was a LOT of potential to make the relationship between humans and Transformers more interesting, dynamic and epic using the 4th and 5th movie, and they started off good with the betraying and stuff but it all just got resolved too quick. But yes, behind those explosions and big robot fights, there was substance. Just underutilized in my opinion.
Main reason why I decided to dedicate 2 whole sections to the betrayal and faith theme, to showcase that they could make the fourth movie entirely about human backstabbing and autobots failing, and then make the fifth movie about restoring faith and fighting off the decepticons together. AOE probably would be very dark and bleak in this form but TLK would be an epic payoff, and much better than the super weird "earth is unicron" and "bumblebee beat ww2 germany" storyline😃
Mentioned this in another comment, but something similar to the way Avengers Infinity War and Endgame played out would be very interesting and unique in the Transformers universe back then. But this is just my take, of course

Steven Spielberg saw a gem in Michael bay , no matter what sort of a person he is, he brought cars turning robots to life on screen , the g1 style is awesome but it pales in comparison to these masterpiece design of each cybertronian beings , ILM are just born magicians to pull off our childhood with great goosebump filled memories

The Bayverse Series has always been a mixup for people but to me and my family it was something we all could set aside and sit through and this was just amazing man now I gotta go have all of us rewatch it keep it up man this is amazing.

After watching this "masterpiece" video I thought to myself. What If, Michael Bay was a man who was a patient, precise, understanding storyteller than his current counterpart. If that were to be real, this Transformers franchise of his would've been WAY better and would gain more popularity for it's deep connection with characters. Although this all "nonsense" is all in my mind, i still believe the What If scenario about Michael Bay being a better director. Not everything is perfect, but it sure gives us some nostalgic moments that we fans cherished the most. ❤

idc how bad these movies were, i grew up with these autobots and decepticons and you just made me feel like a kid again watching the first transformers movie in theaters
I’m happy that people are showing these films love. Hopefully this will translate to Hasbro/ the studio and they will decide to not completely throw away this universe.
Yes I’m so Happy that this Absolutely Amazing Masterpiece has Finally Returned. Even though I have my mixed feelings towards the films I will be great full to Michael Bay for bringing The Transformers to Live Action ever since their introduction to the world in 1984.

This is probably the most well made compilation of the Bayverse I've ever seen. This kind of thing reminds me why I love the Live Action Transformers so much despite it's flaws and criticism but this will always be my personal favorite Transformers, out of all of them I've seen in years. It even inspires me to make art of this universe. Thank you for reminding me of that.
Phenomenal. These movies, despite their extensive issues, i always found enjoyable. I'll certainly miss the viscerality and humanness of these movies. It also helps that I grew up on Transformers, both shows and movies!

On an audiovisual level these movies are a masterpiece. Just absolutely phenomenal sound design and mixing combined with a godly epic score by Steve Jablonsky, and breathtakingly beautiful and crystal clear cinematography with the most impressive and detailed VFX ever. And the action is just so goddamn awesome and badass. Pure machismo and badassery. Watching these in an IMAX theatre in 3D is an overwhelmingly fantastic experience. And the plot and writing which may be cliché, ridicilous and nonsensical but it hits on themes such as nobility and sacrifice which rings so true to most of us. These movies may be diminished by some as just brainless spectacles, but these movies are truly more than meets the eye. They hit something deep inside of you, that joyful young kid playing with toys and not a care of the world. Thank you, Michael Bay. These 5 movies are everything to me.

I don’t get Paramount for taking this down, it’s a really good advertisment for people to watch the movies and bring even more people buying the movies etc. Only thing I wanted more of was more clips from The Last Knight. Was there any specific reason why there was so few of them in the video?
@@believer4002 The Last knight sorry but it wasnt, they just fucked up with the lore and tried to add a lot of complexity and boring stuff into it. And that end where optimus get "cured" by hearing bumblebee voice... thats it?
Other thing, megatron did not do nothing in the last movie too.
The Age of Exctinction was ok, but the best ones were the 1, 2 and 3
@@lukzux okay the movie as a whole has problems, but it undoubtedly had some dope ass shots and moments. Like when Optimus swings of the heads of the 6 robots coming at him, or when he side kicks Megatron of the chamber or when Cade pulls out excalibur to block the guardian knight’s sword. Plus has a lot of cool and epic dialogue. A reason why the trailers for the movie was so great.
Optimus Prime is one of the best fictional leaders ever created. There's a lot to learn from the character.

@@2KOOLURATOOLGamingwasn't a Character choice as much as it was a writing choice, the ending for the DOTM novel was leaked and in the preview pictures it showed the last few pages, so Bay had to change the ending, drastically, I don't like it either but he was in need of a ending change, so, he made Optimus Maul both Megatron and Sentinel.
I myself don't know if Sentinels death was always the same with or without the leaks, I had just always assumed that in the original ending Megatron would be the one to obliterate Sentinel, but who knows, we'll never see it.
