I don't call myself an author because I don’t believe in labels.
I believe that story is art - that it's sacred, and that it is and has always been a force that changes and shapes our world. That's why I write, and that's why I create videos (even co-produced an environmental film). I consider the world my home, and enjoy submerging in unique cultures nearly as much as I love submerging in the ocean and riding the waves. I am the author of the young adult urban fantasy series The Blood Race, and am currently working on several new series's. I am a senior , I love to listen to the cries of The hundreds of Canadian Geese
That passes over the roof of my home in their migration this time of year
I also love to listen to the Mallard 🦆Ducks as they flutter around the Lily Pond
Near where I live . I also love to listen to the Rain beating down on my Bedroom Windows
During the nightly rainfalls .

I have found myself in a life of change instead of being one with the season of slowing down. Somehow I must find the peace of winter and retrospective thoughts to balance the chaos.
Was fortunate to be in Vermont for the peak colors and followed it down through New England and now in the Rocky Mountains of Utah. Love extending seasons nomadically.

I love when I feel like I'm living inside a Bob Ross, Thomas Kincaid and a Norman Rockwell painting all rapped up in one. Also love the magical shadows from the lowering sun. Let's see, autumn in Arizona. Well, it's just like autumn in Vermont minus the water and trees. But it's very scenic where I live, with the mountains visible from my patio and a nice nature-filled wash right across the parking lot with a good walking trail. Now that the temperatures have gone down, it's actually walkable during the day, too.

Nature surprised me this year with an abundance of acorns .....everywhere ....on the front lawn ....the deck ...on our roof and rolling off ever so gently in the middle of the night....so...I got to wondering what I could do with them......I googled as we all do these days to find some great ideas to acorn craft.....

I too am blessed with living in Vermont. It has been an exceptionally long and beautiful Autumn for us, such a blessing This is my favorite time of year and I am deep into my preparations for the Winter, which we both know can appears at any time now. This is truly a beautiful video!

FROM THE CARIBBEAN NO AUTUMN. WE EXPERIENCE THE RAINY SEASON. STARTS JUNE END IN NOVEMBER. SOME SAY IT ENDS IN DECEMBER. SOON AFTER THE DRY WEATHER KICKS IN IN JANUARY ONCE AGAIN. ITS LIKE YOUR SUMMER BUT IT BEGINS IN JANUARY. WILL HAVE RAIN BUT FEWER DAYS OF RAIN. SO DURING YOUR SPRING ITS HOTTEST AT 34-36 DEGREES CELSIUS. I LOVE VT LOVE TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO
I love how you titled this "light academia" instead of dark. Made me chuckle☺️ Funny enough, I'm reading "The Secret History" by Donna Tart right now. It was the novel that sparked the "dark academia" aesthetic. I'm quarter way through and really enjoying it...Fall is over for us here in B.C. We have snow and ice and winter coats.🥶 *buuur, winter came early this year. But I'm getting time to read by the fireplace and write a short story. I printed my novel today, a whopping 180 pages and hopefully going to get some betas to read it before finding an editor. Lots to do, but enjoying it. 😊
