Had that happen to me a few times. One time got a nasty shock unscrewing a light bulb when I thought the switch was off. It was NOT. My whole finger went numb for several seconds.
Once I touched a broken mosquito racket and fell unconscious for a minute and my family members thought I was asleep😂😂

I remember that I got electrocuted once when I was putting a nightlight into the socket. I must have blacked out because I woke up with my cat lying on my stomach licking my face and kneading my chest. My sight was very blurry and I was dizzy. It took about an half an hour for me to feel ok enough to start walking around. My mom just told me to lay down for a while. This is a good example of how most kids are wimps if you baby them. She never took me to the doctor and I was just fine. No need to if they are conscious.
We're glad to hear that you were OK after your electrocution but you should be aware that the seriousness of your electric shock will vary depending on the strength of the current and voltage that passes through your body! Strong electric shocks can be deadly, so we recommend seeing a doctor after any electrocution. A second thing to bear in mind is that most of the damage caused from electric shocks is internal and therefore not something you will be to see with the naked eye. I get what you mean. I just think we are babying our children a little. Don't get me wrong, this is a great instructional video. I just don't get the parents who freak out when their kid is ok. I fully agree that kids younger than five should be taken to the hospital. I was six when I was electrocuted so I was fine. If a was younger that would be a different story.

7 years later still helping people thank you. I tried to open my house door and got electrocuted good thing I had rubber gloves to turn the door and open it but the first situation helped with the running water

hey I think you're 14 now I'm into electronics and been shocked ever since a good thing is to be very sensitive I got shocked with around 600V by misplacing a transformer luckily the months of me into this has significantly increased my reaction time to these that I survived with a pain for just a minute mind you the voltage in our homes is around 210 ~ 260 so I got shocked with 2.5 times that

my first aid for electrocution was when I was about six years old I had my finger in between the prongs when plugging in a Christmas tree I got zapped pretty good mom asked what happened when I screamed I told her and she said won't do that again will you.

I was electrocuted 4-5 years ago and it was serious

You are most probably right, but it shouldn't deter you from trying your hardest to administer first aid and potentially save their lives!

I just got a little shock while putting my charger in. I'll tell my parents as soon as they get home. I haven't passed out or anything I feel fine. I feel like the flash idk why
