  • Fishing for Seatrout with lures, the teaser fly and the newly released Favorite Skyline TZ 902M.
    Sea Trout fishing with lures must be the most frustrating type of fishing I have ever done! Yet, it was an unbelievably rewarding type of angling and one that was great fun! I didn't do much fishing for Sea Trout this year until this session and was dying to catch one on lures. During the video I explain my approach to Seatrout fishing, I show my best Seatrout lures, for example, the very effective and cheap as chips Kilty Catcher Lure. I explain then how I make them even better with the addition of the never-failing sandeel teaser fly rig, and I give an early preview of my shrimp fly rig for seatrout fishing.
    This is the first part of the video, during part two I will go in details through my setup, my best seatrout lures, what seatrout flies I use and how to tie shrimp fly teaser rig. I will soon be trying to catch one on the fly rod, so tune in for more videos.
    Enjoy the Video & Tight Lines 🎣🎣

    Hi Marcin, I have been recommended your vids. I love fishing for sea trout in the estuaries also, I got a fantastic tip for you, out of a mag i had where they were fishing for nile perch (huge) and they jumped and shook a lot. Top tip was applied to my seatrout fishing, removed all the swivel and rings on lure (spoon) then thread your line through the lure both holes. After you attach your line to one swivel on the treble. I went from losing a lot of fish jumping and shaking their heads throwing the hook because the weight of the spoon swinging quickly back and forth. To catching much more seatrout hooked. When you hook a fish and they start to jump, the spoon will slide up the leader away from the hook then down into the water they go spoon slides back down. And each time the fish jumps it slides up your leader. Try it out and I think you will like it and have a lot more landing of the trouts. Smaller dropper fly, rogan gadget, medicine fly tied on a size 6 or 8. Let me know if you try out the method. Tight lines.

    • @kevintobin7482
      @kevintobin7482 2 года назад +1

      I said attached to a swivel and hook, I meant to say attach it to the 0 ring not swivel on the hook.

    • @MarcinKantor
      @MarcinKantor  2 года назад

      very good info Kevin, thanks for taking the time. That sounds spot on. Not sure if you're aware they do inline metals these days, very popular in the scandinavia. Essentially you have the line running through the lure into a bead and the hook to achieve exactly what you say. And yes, they lose way less wish that way.

      Sorry Marcin, theirs a closed season for the species of fish as in seatrout, brown trout ect. Even when fishing in saltwater or the open coast, estuary and transitional waters have fresh water and salt water limits which could see you fishing within the fresh water boundary of a estuary leaving yourself open to prosecution under the fishery acts, check before you fish a new location 👍🏻
