Can’t believe I’m watching “my coin” being made into a beautiful ring. Your work is outstanding and I’ll be proud to wear this anywhere! Everyone I know will soon be aware of your skill.
@Fud's Coin Rings I enjoy your vids.. I will be making my first coin ring later this week.. I also started pouring also.. but love prospecting in our rivers.
@@PartridgeFamilyProspecting I appreciate the kind words! I'm excited for you to start pouring! I was actually going to suggest a collaboration video on pouring once I grew the channel a little more, I didn't know you pour now! I save my coin ring punches and melt them down. I use a 3D printer to design a mold and do lost-resin vacuum casting with it. It was an expensive start-up but the detail in the casting is unmatched. I thought it would be fun to have a video of your family prospecting the metal and then me making it into something but it looks like you beat me to it! I will be posting a sand-casting video within the next week or two. Good luck with your first coin ring! Go slow and remember to anneal often.
@Fud's Coin Rings thank you!! Im sure we can do a collaboration in the near future.. I wish I bought the vac set up.. im just using clay/sand.. but will be fun to watch us both do it differently.. see ya soon :-)
Nice video I just purchased day 1928 peace silver dollar also I am presently wearing a Morgan dollar ring 1921. Got a love it. I am kind of wondering where these coins traveled throughout life as we know it

Thank you! Yes, it is fascinating to imagine how many hands these coins have passed through, how many mouths they've fed, and events witnessed.
I can't believe I'm watching this video at all.
