As a Japanese, I do not feel any special emotion toward the scenery in which I always live. However, Japanese daily life photographed by people from overseas looks more beautiful than what I usually see.
My wife and I were watching your videos the whole weekend. So amazing, informative and good contents. The editing is superb and the musics are so pleasant to ears. Good job Sam and Victor!
out of all the asian countries, japan is the best value for $ right now and has been for quite some time. things are really cheap in japan compared to shanghai, hk, spore, even korea..
It shows how loving and kind you truly are from your first reactions seeing the girl who got hurt! Thank you for sharing love and warmth to strangers! The world needs more love!
I like the camera work for this trip. Attractive. It makes even normal brand shops pretty attractive and boring simple process of preparing meals interesting. 🤓 Also, I'm jealous of their shopping haul and cafe visits.
You are both my favorite when it comes to Japanese travel blogs! I love how you show really cool clothing stores and food sites. Thanks for including the addresses! I love Sam’s late night dessert indulgence. Also watching Victor inspect vintage shirts and shoes. 🤣🤣🤣 it’s a science🤣🤣🤣I bet you both have amazing closets!
I AM ADDICTED TO YOUR VIDEOS. I love the closing shopping hauls, they make me feel like Ive also been on vacation and bought sth. Not a sudden ending. A beautiful Nachgefühl in German, a soft end
OMG I was waiting for another japan vlog 🤧 , I started watching you from your korea vlogs and I really love how natural you people are with your filming style and not just hyping things up here and there or are being boring , just pure calm vibes 🙈 love ya guys ❣❣
This video was so refreshing 👏 This is my idea of a perfect holiday. Doing whatever I enjoy the most instead of trying to cram a bunch of touristy things in my itinerary.
Can’t describe how I love you guys vlogs😢 combine the aesthetic style and the spectacular views let a person who haven’t been to these places gain a truly happiness and satisfying. Thank you guys😢 Hope you guys can view more place and make more fancy vlogs 🎉
I was so close to visiting South Korea and Japan at one point. I was creating my Motion Capture portfolio and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit South Eastern Asia. Great video!
Not everything have to be anime or game related to translate as "deserving to visit". You can visit Japan basically ANYTIME as a REGULAR HUMBLE TOURIST without having to put labels that you're Leon or whoever he is. Come in obscurity for a few days or a week, enjoy yourself, eat what you like to your heart's content and travel to interesting places. Then go home. That's all what travel is, actually. And it's more relaxing than always ties Japan with Capcom, game, or anime 😂😂😂. Honestly, it's so burdensome in my humble opinion. I'd rather come as MYSELF to eat ramen and dive into onsens, not the red queen. Cheers.
Only found you guys a couple weeks back and you’re already my favourites. Need to see Victor's green obsession and Sam's exquisite nails at least once a fortnight now. And what's with the guy glancing at the wiped out girl then just going back to his TikTok?
@firefangz was it good? I'm also considering to go on a solo trip. It's my first time and i'm on the fence. Whether to go or otherwise. Planning to go Tokyo, Nikko and Hakone /kawaguchiko during autumn next yr.
Simply picturesque from lighting, videography editing to the curated shops and sights featured and the unforgettable bruh look at afternoon tea . Very tempted to sponsor both of you a one night stay for your next visit to Japan as a way of thanking for this morning's short reprieve from living in a terribly torrid and sordidly SINful country.
My wife Sharon and I just started watching your travel RUclips videos and give you guys a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . Your videos are very artistic and with a minimum of talk. Keep up the good work! 🤙🥰
This was a great vlog. I enjoyed the trip with the both of you. The Japanese food presentation is an art in itself. The Japanese ooze beauty in everything they do.
Thanks Sam and Victor for your always beautiful, intentional, and aesthetic vlogs!!! Your guys' shots are always so gorgeous and thoughtful ☺️ I started watching back when you guys were last in Tokyo and I've been a huge fan ever since
boutiques in one of the most stylish cities in the world 10,000 km across the globe and man is caught 4K checking out the flannel section in every shot
Omg! My sister had said that she was interested in going to Tokyo and I thought it would be cool to see what it was like without just being in the city, and I actually really liked it! I certainly think I would love more seaside cities in the summer, I loved this vlog 💕
Super random but did you get your nails done in Tokyo/would you have a rec for a place to get fun Japanese nails?? Going soon and I feel like that would be fun lol! Love this video and I have saved SO many of the places you mentioned!!!
You are such a queen for buying a broomstick, I love it 😂 Missing Tokyo 😢 your video has immaculate vibes. Laughed at Victor's face when he saw the extra sundae (?) being served after the massive high tea 😂
I love all your Japan videos, thank you for sharing! I recently went to Kinka Sushi too, was lucky enough to go on a weekend and was able to order the mosaic aburi sushi platter :)
Love your video...combination of sights; shopping; arts and architecture ; authentic restaurants; hotel and especially your coffee experience. Looking forward to more videos from you guys
out of curiosity if i may ask, how much did you spend on food? we are currently planning a future trip, we know how much we should budget for air tickets, hotels and JR pass but wondering if $300 per day for 3 (2 adults, 1 child) would be good for food (same kind of restaurants you went) ? Would you recommend also picking only one place to stay or is it more convenient to move to other hotels within Tokyo to visit each district? thanks
Tbh I don’t know how much we spent on food but i can tell you the most expensive was prob the sushi resto and the afternoon tea at park Hyatt. The rest are quite affordable since they’re just local ramen joints and small coffee shops. Re: hotels depends how long you’re planning to go for. If it’s under 5 days I recommend just staying put as it’s a waste of time to move around and getting luggage up and down the subway stairs is really annoying! However you can consider a 1 night stay in Hakone or Fuji if you want a change of scenery 🙌🏻
I am from Mexico, among your videos, I love your format, every detail and shots that I love, you have a new subscriber, I hope one day to visit some of the places you share with us
Would recommend the Braun classic analogue wall clock instead of the Hay ones since it is cheaper but in much better quality. It has bauhaus design with silent secondhand movement too
you guys have the most interesting shopping haul...very unsual, normally i will just get plenty of skincare, makeup and snacks! haha...brooms, and clock, who would have thought! Also i learn to explore vintage thanks to you guys.
Hey there. Been planning a Tokyo trip and stumbled upon this gem of a channel. Soooo confused on what area to book so I watched all your Tokyo vids and settled for Shibuya Tokyu Rei. Thanks so much. Wish I can take pretty vids too.
Fantastic video, well done! You made me even more excited about my upcoming trip! THANK YOU! 🥰💖 PS= I laughed out loud at the text saying 'every night ends with a visit to Lawson or Family Mart'. Hahaha! So true. I always have to sit in bed with a coffee and a sweet pastry, biscuit or cake of some kind whilst I enjoy the plush hotel bedding and terrific foreign TV.
Hi sam and victor! Idk if you’ll notice me. But first, I would like to congratulate you guys for having a Silver Play button. I must saaaaay “You guys deserve it 🫶🥹 and moreeee” It’s almost a year since I stumble upon your HK vlogs and I went to HK in March last year and guess what?? I’m going to Japan this February. Thank you for always giving us the best vlogs and all the efforts behind it are just so standing ovation worthy 👏👏👏 and lastly, since I really wanna go this location 7:34 , I just wanna ask if you guys walk from the station to the bridge or are there available taxis around the area? Thank you in advance 😊
Been catching up on all your videos since stumbling upon your Korea vlogs last week! You know better than the locals 😂 (Btw I'm Korean). Love the content !
Just stumbled across your vlogs and I've been watching them all to catch up with you guys - really love your content and you seem like such a lovely couple! Lots of love from London :)

I know right I don't live there but I go there every summer. So it's pretty normal to me but it just looks so magical there.
