@902hand7 I'm looking fwd to sticking this one Into some frozen hardwood. That's my unfinished Jonsered 2077... hopefully I can find some parts for it!!!
I buy the VP and put it in my shelf queens for long term storage. I opened a can the other day and it was so full it went all over me and my work bench PERFECT! lol 😆… That’s a great looking saw you’ve built there. That thing will last you 20 plus years I bet. They’re extremely well built as you know. There’s nothing on the market currently that touches that in terms of quality and reliability. Anyways glad to see it fired right up for you without any surprises. That 2077 is another bitchin saw and they make some nasty mofo’s
@Houseworksaws yessir. It was so cold in my garage that it caused the can to suck in and when I opened it, it went all over. lmao Yessir... the 461 was built great from the factory... a touch of love and they're badass saws. I'm looking fwd to getting that 2077 running like a bear!
@tylerheard1279 yessir. I can't sell this one... It's clean looking, but there are flaws in the case from being crushed... the flaws are nothing critical, but I know they are there, and to be bluntly honest, these flaws bother the shit out of me... sooooo 🤷♂️ 🤣 🤕
$430 + $25. For the 'broken' saw you mentioned to begin with then forgot to add doing the totaling. Then you said another 20 for the handle. $475 And it still needs outfitted with a bar and chain. ( granted many of us have extras of those) at least another 100 there. =$575 Whats the msrp with a warranty? Dont get me wrong I've been looking for a $20 362 to fix up
@matthewbeaver5026 yeah, I'm in it $500 with it all being said and done. I can't add the price of the bar and chain because I have a bunch of the from other saws that aren't being used.
The 461 is a fantastic saw !
@@fabzacres-blackcat yes they are, especially when they're machined and ported. Completely different saw.
Merry Christmas
Love me a 461 and this one sounds nasty - nice work Rich. Liking that cherry J-Red sitting on the bench too...

Not a bad deal at all for such a clean saw. Are you gonna keep this one?

Get yourself a wood stove in that garage and get the boys on the handle of that badboy and you'll be warm all winter long😁
@tylerheard1279 I like the way you think "T". Lol
@RichFife my kids aren't doing that for me, but it's a nice thought, lol!
@tylerheard1279 right! Ahahaha

@@RichFife sthil a steal. 🤣
I didn't realize that was a $1300+ saw.
@matthewbeaver5026 I wonder what a NOS would go for!?
So how bad was the case?
@ToasterrBath not bad. I'll have to make a video or take pics
@ How difficult is it to TIG those cases?
@ToasterrBath idk. That would ruin the powder coat... I'm not too worried about the cracks.
@ Yep. Forgot about that. It stinks real bad too.
