We played this song for my mama when she passed away. Today is her birthday and here it is ten years later and I am just now able to listen to it again.. crying like a baby of course.
She grew up. Get over it. If you were a true fan it wouldn't matter what she's singing or how she's performing. She will always be Miley. I think some things happened in her life and she just got lost and is still trying to figure herself out. She doesn't need all of you "FANS" sayings how much you miss the "old" Miley because she is still the same Miley that true fans love. She's just trying to be herself, like all artists do, so stop criticizing her.
This is true but she is not the same. True we should not criticize her she will be how she is. I do like the way she was before better but I still like her I trust that she will straighten herself out and do what she thinks is best and if that means she will stay like she is now so be it.

This song came on and I couldn't help to cry like a baby. I miss him so much, but I am so damn proud of him! I still feel like a huge part of my life is over, but I realize that I have to let him make it.

I always pictured myself as the little Daddy's girl, but nope... It breaks my heart a little with knowing my father won't feel anything when I go off to college in a couple of years, but I know this song will basically be my mother and I when it is time for me to go.
My mom hates how my family is scattered all throughout the country, and I'll be in Virginia--the complete opposite side of the Country. But... the university has an amazing Law School program. I hate thinking how it'll upset her a bit with me not going to my second college choice, which also has a good law program. But... She'd be happier if I go for what gives better career opportunities, right?

I may not be a Daddy's girl, but I definitely love my mamma too much to not see her! Haha I don't intend to live on my own until after college {though that may change after not living with her for so long} but I'd deff. be home every time I have breaks from school.

This is such a great song. I remember this episode of hannah montanna coming out while i was choosing colleges years ago and it felt so inspiring. A girl will always need her father so letting him go to strive for a better future was one of the hardest things about leaving home.
