Danced this song at my wedding and even though my dad was sick as hell with cancer he walked me down that isle and even tho he was able to only dance for a little over a minute ill never forget that dance he died 03-18-23

My first time hearing this song was on the episode of Hannah Montana and that’s when I found out he was her father. Now that I’m a mother to three amazing kids I understand this song completely and listen to it often with my little ones.

But if you're the father of a daughter who grew up on you, or the daughter who grew up, this song hits pretty hard. It's very prophetic and personal to them also, as this was something that was actually soon to happen in their life....

I'm 21 and my dad died in 2021. It's almost two years since then and quite frankly my daddy still had a hard time with that, still treat me like I was his baby girl. I wish he could see me become a women.

Although my dad is not with me anymore I was just remembering what he said about me being transgender and I was not going to lie but he was really excited about my relationship and future my wedding and everything I just really needed for him to be more than my dad but my best friend and he told me before me and my fiancée that we could live with him and he didn’t mind but now he is gone I am also remember my mom thought about me during this song I am really sad that the 2 most important people are not with me anymore my girlfriend dumped me and my dad died and already had my dad daughter dance with me and now I don’t know what to do about this and who will walk me down the isle

My son just left for tech school in Nashville.... 6 hours away from me. This song came on and I couldn't help to cry like a baby. I miss him so much, but I am so damn proud of him! One of my favorite songs on Hannah Montana

Spent alot of time at the pool with the kids with hanna montana playing and seeing them splashing and laughing. I enjoyed it to the fullest. They are gone now on their way in life. Am proud of them. But i would give everything i have for 1 more saturday with them.
