Usually I don’t comment on videos but I just said goodbye to my husband and watched him say goodbye to our not even 2 month old daughter while fighting back tears so that he can deploy and give humanitarian aide to Afghan refugees and we don’t know when or if we’ll even see him again and it is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do and all I can do is be strong for my daughter and just pray that he comes home alive and this song is helping me get through it

as a child listening to this you don't really understand the lyrics but as you get older you understand what miley is talking about and in stressful times this is the type of song you need to hear to give you reassurance about the way life is going. So glad i grew up with this type of music nothing compares to old Disney songs, they were preparing us for the life ahead of us.
I listen to this every morning before school bc I'm struggling and my depression and anxiety is trying to take over again and this song inspires me to keep going don't give up . I have to be strong I just got to get past the painful mountains that come my way.

I remember singing this song using this lyric video when I was in high school almost ten years ago. Those random teenage blues and emo stages felt like an eternity before and it felt like the world is against you. I miss those days when all I care about is singing songs like this while finding the right vibe and emotions, not right now when you know how it felt like to climb to something so unreachable. I never knew that adulthood is this hard.

This song inspires me to keep going, my older sister who is now 20 got a condition called CRPS when she was 14 and I was 8. I lost my childhood and my sister because of it, her and my mom left me and my other sister and dad when I was turning 10 they were gone over my tenth birthday and they stayed 15 hours away from us for 7 weeks. This song reminded me to keep going and we have tried almost everything but we just keep hoping for a cure. Okay people. I was never a fan of miley. I grew up watching hannah montanna and I enjoyed the show most of the time. Miley and are about the same age, her being one year older than me. I can understand why miley did this, she doesn't want to be trap doing kiddy stuff for the rest of her life but she chose the wrong way to grow up. I don't think most of you knew the real miley, seriously, how do you know she was sweet and innocent? Being on Disney doesn't make her sweet and innocent, it is a show, she was a playing a character. I don't know what she was like behind the scenes. Another thing, did you guys keep up with the news while she was growing up, she was caught doing things at 16, that she shouldn't been doing from the start. like dancing around a pole, dancing on her producer, a 40 year old, naked pics..Seriously, where were you people, she's been hiding her real self for years, waiting till she is legal of age to do what she wants. So, I am not surprised she turned out this way. As far as her music goes, this is my favorite song by miley. I didn't like her music before, they were catchy songs, at least most of them. Now, I somewhat enjoy her music a little more than I used to. It is better. I just wish she chose to grow up a different way instead of acting like a rebellious teenager.
