- Finally, here is our home haunt for 2023. It's been a struggle, the rain has been almost non-stop this month. Just when we got the haunt finished, along came the wind before I could film. Here is my best reconstruction of the haunt. Hope you enjoy it!

Everything looks great Scare Dad I love what you did. I watched your video on setting up the Predator of The Night and a few others and would have loved to have seen that portal from hell wanted to build for the Predator and his minions ...maybe next year. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
Thanks so much. If I make that ground portal this year I think I will make the ground breaking up out of foam, run the red lights under the foam pieces that are popping up, and have a fog machine going. If I had planned ahead better and thought of using foam instead of just digging up my yard it would have worked. Hindsight is 20/20. Thanks for all your support, I appreciate it!
Wow, great job scare dad! I love what you did with the home depot servo with. I also built a hut for mine with camo old wood and lights etc. Your yard looks great and look forward to next year!
Thanks so much. Your witch hut sounds great too. Our hut was free wood pallets, a few 2x4s, and a tarp. Worked well enough, and with added plastic around the sides it kept everything dry (a real challenge here lately.) Can't wait for 2024 (though I'll be working on props all year.) I agree, the weather is probably the biggest challenge for us home haunters. This was definitely a tough year for us up in New England. So much rain, made it hard to even start building. Hoping this October is dry and warm. Thanks for watching and leaving the comment!

I know how you feel. I had to deal with so many broken props this year. At least it gives the opportunity to get creative. I’m not super crafty, but I’ve been wanting to make a Last of Us zombie prop & a Sweet Tooth prop from Twisted Metal!

Thank you. Still a lot I didn't get to finish that I planned (and like usual, half the props I made didn't make it in, lol.) For instance, I had a projection and lights that synched with the Black Heart, and then last minute went more kid-friendly and decided to use the projector for something else.
I'll definitely be making more of my own animatronics in the coming months, in the planning stage right now. If you make either of those props, you need to post videos so we can all see them, they both sound awesome! Thanks again for your support!

Thanks! The rain was definitely a bummer, but at least on our party night and on Halloween night we had good weather. (I wish I had filmed on the party night, I was just so exhausted by the end of the night.) Halloween was great though. Hope yours was awesome too!
@@ScareDad Yes that was the important thing the Halloween eve without rain. Its sad that you have not filmed it but i understand the stress specially on Halloween day where we had the Trick or Treat event and afterwards the Halloween party. I uploaded some videos pertaining the Halloween day.
