Lost even further in time... the Doctor Who missing episodes clips we forgot about

Let's take a look at the clips from missing episodes of Doctor Who that you don't usually find on lists of exisiting footage.
This is not an exhaustive list. There are othe examples. And there are some that are still up for debate...

I often think the ultimate missing episode we get a reprise from must be 'The Dead Planet', as it's the only bit of that original recording we still have.

The other ways we can tell _The Space Museum_ opens with a direct copy of _The Crusade_ are that to do otherwise would necessitate a costume change in an already-complicated studio session, and the presence of an off-camera cough just after the central column stops moving (and just before the camera cuts away to the Xeros surface, likely because the “Next Time” caption card appeared after that point).

I seem to remember some discussion about the cliff-hanger for Evil of the Daleks ep. 1 where it was said that the footage used at the end of Wheel In Space was a few milliseconds longer than the surviving bit in Evil episode 2.

I’ve looked into that one to see if it’s true or not. I checked the unrestored versions from the VHS releases and if there any additional milliseconds I couldn’t find them!

Not true. The reprises at the starts of some episodes are still missing, so have had to use the previous week’s cliffhanger *even when we know for a fact* that is actually wrong!
