Since the video of programming keys went over so well, here is the follow up. I am programming 2 remotes I bought off of Amazon. Note: I had no master remote. These are programmed from Base.

When you use the auto search and the first screen will show all that - make model mileage

For my 2008 lexus rx350 I was able to program the remote to start the engine and drive the car, but I cannot program the buttons of the remote to lock and unlock the car or open the gate. What am I doing wrong?

Hard to say without being there, but it should certainly be able to program those remotes. Have you tried deleting all the existing remotes to start from scratch?

I have a Launch x431 and I was not to able to program new fobs, old ones to a 2001 Dodge Dakota missing. Not having any luck. Any way that you know of to program ? Thank you

Without having it in front of me, it's hard to say, but that tool should work for it.

X431 PAD. It's super fast, the largest screen and heavy.

Both are great! I prefer the larger screen on the 3+, but that's about the only change I really see.
