Dylanesque, one of my personal topmost sonic guilty pleasures from Mr Ferry’s epic oeuvre. As has been said elsewhere BF creatively & consistently answers the question “when is a cover version not a cover?” Playfulness is a strong strand through his music so the wistful, whispering whistling here reminds us of that. So repeat- listenable, that’s RM & BF for ya. Viva Roxy Music!

I'm a big Ferry fan and have covered several of his songs myself, so I was really looking forward to hearing his version of this Dylan classic, and rarely do I find that Ferry disappoints, but here I must say I am not really happy with this. Maybe if the voice were up in the mix where it belongs, it would be more effective. A cluttered arrangement with no dynamics. Oh well. Thanks for all the great music over the years.

Everyone saying it's his age, but probably that heavy smoking over the years has took it's toll. Been a fan since about 73, huge Roxy fan. Paul Thompson is a hugely underrated drummer.

@@ColtraneTaylor ouch! Look at Paul Rogers of Free/bad co/queen. He gave up smoking decades ago, and despite being well into his 70's still has the same great voice he's had since 1970. Tells you a lot.
