Billy Idol is timeless
Steve Steven's is an underrated guitar legend who is equally talented as lead or rhythm. He can make one guitar sound like two, not unlike EVH.
True, but they also added a faint pad sound, or maybe it was an effect pedal. But I'm sure it would've sounded fine without it.
Comparing him to Eddie? I think that's pushing it.

@@anonymouse527 Sounds like from his FX board and not added afterwards. Also, they kept little mistakes in the guitar performance which I find really authentic. Its pretty stormy in such heights, its probably cold and th guitar also gets out of tune much faster.

I saw Billy when he was 50 and he was ripped yet, thought to myself "I hope I age as well". Now that I'm 50+, I think maybe...just maybe...I should have been a rock star! 🤟

The only man that’s ever made me speechless! Steve and Billy were walking toward me getting ready to go on stage “ello sweetheart” said Billy and I couldn’t get the words out! And I was working in radio at the time! One of my greatest memories. Billy was super cool with a big cheeky grin! First and only time I have been star struck 😂😂

No this is worse, on account of Steve there just playing the electric part, on his Ovation.
It sounds legitimately crap. I've heard trad jazz and Romani jazz (‘gypsy’) players get a much bigger sound with more energy by using the whole guitar. It'd be more fitting for the song, and would not have been laughably disappointing for this particular fan of four decades.
