Amazing track! Please Bryan get to work right away on recording a new album with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross that is all in the style of this song!!!
Sitting in my car eating lunch at a summer labor job many years ago I heard Virginia Plain playing in the other college guy’s car tape player. “What are you playing?!?” Went to the record store after work, dirty, sweaty, and purchased the debut album. Changed forever.
Imagine if Bryan Ferry released a version with the late David Williams on guitar, and he added Marcus Miller on bass, and Andy Newmark supplied drum overdubs like on Olympia. Bryan Ferry uses guitarists to paint landscapes and atmospheres and the programming and keyboards on this song give it pure sonic delight.
Awesome tune...very much in keeping with the modern BF style/aesthetic, but both this song AND this video could've really benefited by having a WHOLE LOT MORE Bryan Ferry!!!
♡♡♡♡♡Hearing Byran Ferry/Roxy Music♡♡♡♡♡ Been a fan since 11-8-1975 when my late husband Rodney introduced me to Roxy Music. Psalm was played at our 3-5-1977 Wedding. Tour USA soon!
Cutting edge, but done with a sense of style and pizazz which we've come to expect from Bryan. Good on him for working with Trent, Amelia and Atticus. 🙂
I would LOVE to see Trent work with Depeche Mode. Im imagining "The Downward Spiral" meeting Black Celebration. 'Pretty Hate Machine" colliding with Violator. Absolute Wow.

@@Pyjamarama11 Your right,
as big Ferry/Roxy fan Bryan's voice is shot at.
Alas, time has different plans... Still a gorgeous song.
I literally can't stop playing this... I hope a longer version comes out, so I won't have to keep putting it back to the beginning.
I’m the same I keep playing it from the beginning,it’s so dark and mesmerising I wish it was much longer👏👏

A great track Bryan - the mood and sophistication reminds me of Kiss and Tell.
Nice surprise finding new music from Bryan Ferry . Don’t understand why though that there was 4 different bass players on this track .
My cousin lived next door to Brian Ferry in Kensington London…🤩seeing him was cool 🩵
The nightclub sphere of Olympia combined with the vibracy and tension on Mamouna. Best of both worlds !
