Do you know the relationship Riot has with Imagine Dragons? Having the band who has become famous for and already done live concerts performing music they made for the game trailers seemed like both literally and poetically the appropriate band to do the music for the intro.
I´m fine with the intro. It´s a perfect way to feature them in every episode, yet you can skip it and don´t loose anything important: I personally like Imagine Dragons, but ep. 1 intro was enough for me, skipped it in every other episode :D And as for their featuring in ep. 5, transition in the middle of their song to Marcus and then Jayce was fine, but that sudden transition back from Viktor was like fist in my face, hate it so much. :D
I fully understand not liking Imagine Dragons, I don't much like their music anymore either, but the intro to this is decidedly NOT a megachurch jam. Then again, he is likely a pretty sloppy journaler, more of a seat of his pants, fix it later kind of scientist.
It is so funny watching reactions to episode 2 knowing what happens in episode 3. Gut punch time!
Can't wait for the third episode, It's gonna be awesome
it is really funny to see this hi fantasy magicky stuff and then a second later you're hit in the face with imagine dragons lol
And...here...we...go episode three
Its here
Can't wait for the next one. The whole show pivots around what happens in episode 3.... D:
Its okay, imagine dragons is shit, we understand lol
I dont blame u for being lost during that snowstorm scene as even League of Legends players cant agree on who it was that saved them. There is 1 guy referenced most named Ryze but there are clear things pointing to the fact that it cant be him that we trully have no ide who it actually is and Riot havent said who it is either. Just know that there are alot of very advanced magic in this world that is both very usefull and very VERY destructive.
😊✌
Skip the intro, it has cool visuals buts really it. The music video has unused scenes from the show if you want to watch it later
"Unused scenes from the show." Those were created specifically for the music video. They aren't from the cutting room floor.
Wait. Furry tendencies?
Can't wait for Ep. 3 !! Great Show!
I didn't hate the intro song but it does wear out it's welcome a little bit. Surprised you guys talk about the visuals in it.
10:20 that’s so damned true, I knew I’ve seen this kind of aesthetics somewhere before
You're great!!! Thanks for sharing your honest reaction. ❤
you guys should absulutly what tresur planet would be an amazing vid
I want more Maple intro songs
I hope you'll watch the Vinland Saga
Just skip the intro then, making fun of the intro is making fun of the show and is very off putting.
not as off putting as hearing imagine dragons when you're trying to enjoy yourself
That's what happens when you get a cliché band to play an even more cliché song, imagine dragons are not a good band also imo the most obvious industry plant. Arcane better not bring them back for the 2nd season
@@Diegesislmao
@@Water_Person_IRL Right, cliche band that's one of the best selling rock bands of all time...at least they actually write, perform and sing all of their content without garbage auto-tune. They have actual musical talent unlock so many "artists" today.
@gamesswell2024
Nah, they're just making fun of a shitty song, and perhaps you.
Let’s go!
Tbh the beginning does somewhat spoil future events so skipping it would benefit imo
I relate so thoroughly with the thoughts y'all have in regards to the soundtrack 😆🤣 I just can't get behind imagine dragons. The tertiary score is fine. But whenever they add in their own songs I want to roll my eyes right out of my skull 🙄 They'll definitely go down as the "Limp Bizkit" of their generation. Meaning, in a decade, 90% of their fans will ask themselves, "Why did I like that?" This show is amazing and would be a 10/10 for me if it wasnt for this god awful soundtrack. Enjoyed the content, Thanks 😁
Edit: Just browsed the comment section, and saw you giving it to commenters who had an issue with you sharing your opinion. You've gained my subscription 🤘🏻😍
4:16 Heimerdinger! 😁😺
I think having Imagine Dragons do the intro (and later have the band featured) was the only decision I disagree with. Every other aspect of this show is fantastic: writing, animation, voice acting. They get a pass from me!
Do you know the relationship Riot has with Imagine Dragons? Having the band who has become famous for and already done live concerts performing music they made for the game trailers seemed like both literally and poetically the appropriate band to do the music for the intro.
@@ColinPoole I do understand the relationship and the marketing value of the decision, personally I just don't care for their music.
I´m fine with the intro. It´s a perfect way to feature them in every episode, yet you can skip it and don´t loose anything important: I personally like Imagine Dragons, but ep. 1 intro was enough for me, skipped it in every other episode :D
And as for their featuring in ep. 5, transition in the middle of their song to Marcus and then Jayce was fine, but that sudden transition back from Viktor was like fist in my face, hate it so much. :D
@@ryanfuerst2406do you really understand though?
@@daurydavis3983 Yes, why is that hard to believe? lol
get your kleenex for the next one (L)
I fully understand not liking Imagine Dragons, I don't much like their music anymore either, but the intro to this is decidedly NOT a megachurch jam. The full song is actually much more explicitly an anti queer conversion therapy song? It does feel a bit out of place but ID actually do a lot of LGBTQ+ advocacy and fundraising despite their mormon roots
Or maybe Jehovahs, either one
pretty sure they are talking about their overall sound, not the lyrical content
Why people don't like Imagine Dragons? Wota gel wrong whith you?😮
Dis for this😢
Oh no someone doesn't like a thing you like??? "Imagine" that 😭😭😭🤣🤣😂😂
@@padenbang7375 but it's cool song
👍🏾

Way to hate on some of your fan base Maple
😂
Oh cry about it.
Are we enemies?
EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE MY ENEMY
As an AVID Arcane fan who understands and respects why Imagine Dragons is in the intro song...please NEVER stop making fun of them.
Waiting for episode 3 to make them cry like I did
I don't think they will. I'm getting negative vibes, I don't think they like it at all.
@@andrastarsoly7320 Which is weird, I mean, you don't have to like everything of course. But you'd think reaction channels would be able to discern quality. It feels like they're just watching, and not noticing everything that's groundbreaking about the show. Surprisingly few comments about the visuals, for example.
@@andrastarsoly7320 ep 1-2 are the intro. Ep 3 is when people decide if they like the show or not. It's usually the ALL IN episode for most people but the show is not for everyone. We'll see if they like it or not.
@@Onaterdem Yeah, I've also noticed the visuals part.
@@zissoulanderYup, ep3 is the all-in, I agree. I just felt that they have been pretty passive up until now, getting hung up on hating Imagine Dragons, etc. Maybe the background is missing from playing League as all the characters, world and story can be a lot to make sense of during the first 3 eps without any prelim knowledge.
But yeah, we'll see after the next ep :)
