Hey everyone! I'm starting this little casual chit chat series on my channel called "Low Res With Jess"! It's low resolution cause it's on zoom lmfao BUT IT WORKS !?! Who would you like to see in the next episode? Comment below ^_^
"I would have made the same choice every single time." I am so proud to hear her say that. Every woman should feel empowered to speak out when they're uncomfortable.
Model on set: (Is uncomfortable, says nothing) Tyra at panel: Why is this photo not great? Model: I was uncomfortable Tyra: Girl if you're uncomfortable you should've said something! Model on set: (Is uncomfortable) Hey I'm uncomfortable, can we discuss another way to do this? Tyra, Jay: What a diva ----------------------------------- I mean, that's literally gaslighting! Love to Keenyah - wish I was that confident :)

Bertini was absolutely DISGUSTING. The way he looked at the other girls and ESPECIALLY Keenyah made me physically ill. I had to stop watching at points.
Seriously, he should be blacklisted from ever working in the industry. It's unacceptable that they let that happen. It makes me sad that even here, Keenyah downplays what he did (not that it's her fault, it's a common way of coping that I've done, myself) by saying he was "low key harassing" her. When a person is refusing to give you space, touching you in ways you don't want to be touched, and rubbing their genitals on you... That's high key assault.
Yes, and it's _disgusting_ that he benefited from the fame that this show and his actions brought him. I'm curious to know what happened with him in New York but at the same time I really don't wanna know, because it's bound to be something disgusting...
The fact that he wasn't removed especially when there was a third male model that couldn't even be seen in the picture. They could have so very easily fixed the problem. The other two seemed much more respectful. Close like they needed to be, but not up on her.

Keenyah you are such an inspiration. In high school a guy kept touching me. I told the teachers but they told me I should be flattered. He kept doing it and I pushed him. I was sent to the office and told them what had been happening. They tried to tell me I misunderstood the situation. That I was just sensitive. If I hadn't seen you stick up for yourself I don't know if I would have. Thank you. That must have been really hard for you. You make a difference. Thank you so much. My mom hated that show but was grateful for you after we talked about it. Thank you
Also also, Keenya is awesome to be in the business of helping prospect models to find their inner light, what a force for good. You both should create a modeling show or something to lift up people and educate others on how things work!
This is seriously the best interview that has to do with ANTM on youtube (that I've seen). The questions are well thought out, the whole interview seems well organized and planned. This is so well done! Most interviews on youtube seem to be disorganized and shallow. Great job!!! :)
This was super fascinating! Keenyah seems like an amazing, strong person. I'm glad she has thrived after the show - 16 years in the industry is nothing to shake a stick at!
This is a fascinating interview! You are such a gifted interviewer: you asked intriguing questions, you were well organized, you were always engaged, and it helps that you’re so passionate about the topic. I loved the flow of the interview, too. Keenyah had such interesting things to offer, and of course she is very well spoken and her flow in the interview was great too. I hope you guys do follow through with doing something together in the future. It’s clear you have great chemistry and a shared vision for the changes you would like to see in the fashion world. I liked the idea of Keenyah going into model management, however I would be afraid that her talent would be swallowed up by the machine that the industry is. People like you and her can continue to make impactful change outside of the agencies, and hopefully more people like you will continue to make the changes necessary to affect the wider industry. Thank you both!! ❤️Jennifer
The fact that she can talk super calmly and positively about this whole thing says a lot. It’s nice that she’s not out here to drag this whole experience simply for fame. Very mature and interesting interview!
She is so sunny! And positive! She definitely has this badass energy! Totally fell in love with her personnality during this interview. She is also so beautiful and shining!!
Wow Jess really good job handling this interview asking all the right questions and making the guest feel comfortable and have ample time to respond. You're an awesome interviewer and would love to see more!
STUPIDEST most idiotic, dismissing question ever: "He's moaning where?"🤦♀️OMG I was beside myself when he asked that! UNBELIEVABLE! Beautiful, both of you are, inside and out!
Seriously, moaning out of his big toe? His man boob? His armpit? Where the hell did that question come from lol Jay was always so condescending and ridiculous.
BLESS! I’m so glad Keenya (sp?) bringing up that anyone can be harassed including men! Also- Keenya don’t feel you need to minimize what happened or your trauma it’s valid and so are you! Great interview! For sure interested in more videos like thus
I watched that season as a pre-teen and thought Keenyah was gorgeous and the way they treated her weight was heart breaking. I remember them commenting on her stomach and stuff one episode and that night I stood in front of the mirror and noticed all the things they had belittled about her in my body. It was one of the first times I believed I was ugly and fat. I still struggle with my self-image and I remember that moment a lot. I stopped watching the show after that cause it made me cry.
I feel very sad for your personal suffering on this. I wonder if the people on the show have any idea or care that the message they impacted a generation of young gals with is that their bodies are not acceptable. (Which is really rich, when in some cycles, they do the intimate group talk about eating disorders.) It is an abusive industry. I knew it before ANTM. Then ANTM happened, and those that run the show make modeling seem like a gift from the gods. While it IS a big break if you break through… ALL of the worst things you could possibly go through do occur. It is its own lucrative, corrupt jungle. Not Tuesday Talks with Tyra.
And also what tummy??? My god she's perfect. My 8 yo has mentioned calories before and it's terrifying how early that mindset can creep in; I don't even know where she heard it either because my fatass loves donuts. I tell her she's beautiful and the perfect size. I hope you had a good irl female role model because honestly I didn't and felt the same way you did. I was 5'7 and 118 lbs and thought I could be skinnier. It literally warps your mind and perspective. Terrifying
@@jbear3478 I didn't have a good female role model and it really messed with my head over the years. The closest I ever had for a role model was piper from charmed who was shown to have her own insecurities even tho she was beautiful. I still struggle with liking my appearance but I do like my body more now that it's given me two amazing boys.
I was sexually assaulted in my office while people were in the other room by a security guard in the building. I completely understand that this kind of this happens in plain sight. When I told my manager he emailed me and didn’t really care. I quit two days later. Nothing is worse than feeling that way.
So weird remember seeing her on ANTM years and years ago and now THIS!!!! The editing of the show did her dirty because she seems like such a bright person. And it looks like she is fun to be around!!
Oh my god, Jessica, this is my first comment on your channel. I just want to say you are an excellent interviewer, I have watched ANTM interview on other channels, but you are by far the best!!! So genuine, and the questions and your feedback to the questions are just so professional!!! Please do more of these interviews with other contestants!!!
she seems like such a sweet and down to earth woman I'm so happy she was able to find success after leaving that toxic environment and i hope that success continues and gets even bigger!
9 times out of 10 I completely skip super long videos but when I tell you I enjoyed every second of this, I mean it! I had to continue it in the car on my way to work. You ladies have chemistry! This whole interview flowed beautifully. 🥰
So happy to see Keenyah again. She is so striking. A beautiful strong woman with a megawatt smile, and a infectious personality to match. Come through, Shero! This interview was *chefs kiss*
I don't think a lot of people know how toxic the world of photography and modelling is. even in my small city and surrounding area, I hear about photographers sexually assaulting or harassing their models every couple months! I straight up do not trust male photographers who only shoot boudoir.
Would love to, but I don't have extensive knowledge on all the seasons/happenings and contestants unfortunately. Don't know how good I'd be at that haha ;-; If you're looking for more interviews specifically with ANTM I would definitely recommend Oliver TwiXt - he goes super in-depth and interviews so many of the girls on the show! ruclips.net/user/zimbralist1

And I don’t even watch antm since I’m German but I somehow watch all your videos about it 😅 Edit: and omfg how can she be so gorgeous?! She is SO beautiful
Oliver interviewed the girls to get scoop but dominated most of the discussion, while Jessica let’s the girl answer and literally talk. I prefer Jessica’s.

Amazing video - thank you for doing this! Please look at London from cycle 12, and how they treated her regarding weight gain. I grew up watching ANTM and this was sole destroying, I don't think there's a compilation but there were so many examples of tearing her down for her minimal weight gain (eg: "too big" for modelling but "too small" for plus size, her winning a challenge and getting designer jeans that don't fit her, so she has to give them all away, etc)
I think that we assume ANTM could've impacted the modeling industry, but I have a feeling it was considered a complete joke in the real industry. It sounds like the models were put through dramatic and unrealistic shoots when photoshoots are not ridiculously extravagant in the real industry. As far as changing the landscape for bullying, assault, and empowerment, 100% they should've protected the contestants instead of trying to break them down.

Thank you
Yep, I saw her randomly on New Girl and I instantly recognized her. Stunning woman.
Also, Keenya was the Taurus for the Zodiacs, which are synonymous with food. They typecast her as the “fat girl”.
Also also, Keenya is awesome to be in the business of helping prospect models to find their inner light, what a force for good. You both should create a modeling show or something to lift up people and educate others on how things work!
I love New girl I recognized Keenyah right away as well.
Wait really?! Which episode!!!
@@MySadKitchen-Ash According to IMDB Season 2 Episode 2.
This is seriously the best interview that has to do with ANTM on youtube (that I've seen). The questions are well thought out, the whole interview seems well organized and planned. This is so well done! Most interviews on youtube seem to be disorganized and shallow. Great job!!! :)
Her segues are seamless. Nicely done, Jess!
Keenyah mentoring models so wisely and thoroughly with beautiful intentions is what ANTM should've been.
We stand with you Keenyah. Thank you for standing up for yourself when no one else did.
The goddamned unadulterated beauty that is Keenya Hill. The stature, the body, the skin, the legs and that face! Chiseled statuesque perfection.
People take Keenyah's words to heart. It is ALL the editing. The showrunners decide everything and that includes much of who wins.
For sure interested in more videos like thus
it's spelled in the title (keenyah)
(Which is really rich, when in some cycles, they do the intimate group talk about eating disorders.)
It is an abusive industry.
Wasnt expecting to watch the entire hour+ but honestly you guys are soooo good together, and this was so informative and fun!
Jess is very good at grounding the other person and adapting to their energy
A lot of models from other cycles said the same thing about not using their ANTM portfolio in their real-life modeling career.
Keenyah is BEAUTIFUL, and I so appreciated her bravery in sharing her story. Also, Jessica, you are a great interviewer!
This is such a good interview, Jess!! Gave so much insight about the show and the industry.
This interview is so great! It’s so nice to see Keenyah and hear about her experiences. Her bone structure is amazing!!!!
I absolutely love this whole video. You two have UNMATCHED energy! I don't care what the next video is - I just want more Keenyah and Jessica!
9 times out of 10 I completely skip super long videos but when I tell you I enjoyed every second of this, I mean it! I had to continue it in the car on my way to work. You ladies have chemistry! This whole interview flowed beautifully. 🥰
I love this so much, I grew up watching her as a child and it´s crazy how the show was so problematic
So happy to see Keenyah again. She is so striking. A beautiful strong woman with a megawatt smile, and a infectious personality to match. Come through, Shero! This interview was *chefs kiss*
I'm so happy to see Keenyah is doing well.I'm glad she was able to thrive after the show.
I don't think a lot of people know how toxic the world of photography and modelling is. even in my small city and surrounding area, I hear about photographers sexually assaulting or harassing their models every couple months! I straight up do not trust male photographers who only shoot boudoir.
I honestly feel like Keenyah is too gracious and appreciative to actually call out or recognize the gaslighting & manipulation from this show.
Yeasss Jessica!! Do interview more for the other COntestants!
@@JessicaKobeissi Oh Yes ive been watching Oliver since hahaha.
Maybe you could interview Fatima Siad (from Cycle 10), or Leila Goldkuhl (from cycle 19) and ask in depth about their journey/insight from antm to high fashion and haute couture from Photographer perspective.
Also Love love the idea of reacting to antm episode with one of the models!
What an amazing human being Keenyah is! She was an amazing first participant for your series! So well spoken, and she gave great answers + was easy going! Glad to see she’s doing so well after all these years! :)
this whole interview was so incredible and I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time 🥺💞🥺💞🥺💞🥺💞🥺✨🥺💞✨ love seeing keenyah STILL glowing and has not aged AT ALL! so proud of you both! 💞
This was such a fun, informative interview! I’ll be honest I wasn’t the biggest fan of Keenya on the show during her season but I see that was really about how she was edited, because her personality seems so fun and bubbly and smart! But I loved that she didn’t bash and trash talk the show but gave an honest, positive view of her time on the show! Would love to see more of this, thank you for sharing!
I’ll be honest, I was like “Mmh I don’t even remember who that woman is, but give it a chance nevertheless” ... and then she got me in like the first 2 minutes of her speaking, such a cool character and a very strong woman!!
And I don’t even watch antm since I’m German but I somehow watch all your videos about it 😅
Edit: and omfg how can she be so gorgeous?! She is SO beautiful
She is soo beautiful
She seems like an amazing person, and yeah, she looks incredible. Glad she’s working in the industry still. Great interview.
Oliver interviewed the girls to get scoop but dominated most of the discussion, while Jessica let’s the girl answer and literally talk. I prefer Jessica’s.
I can appreciate both. My nosy side likes the gossip aspect, but also really like this format!
Olivers' interviews are a bit chaotic amd they run VERY long because he doesn't prepare. He also does not like critique. He'll block you!
Olivers' interviews are a bit chaotic amd they run VERY long because he doesn't prepare. He also does not like critique. He'll block you!
@@GullibleTarget I did not know that. Well he is very strong opinionated so i guess that’s normal for him to block. As for his unpreparedness, well he did get the first hour to talk about his questions first, then continue with the fans questions, so it isn’t a total mess. It’s just he isn’t as inviting as Jessica’s, that’s probably the best way to differentiate them.
@@GullibleTarget well he’s not an interviewer hes said that himself...its meant to be a casual chat, laidback and the chaotic nature is kinda the point..its more relatable and has personality..it’s not meant to be a structured professional interview....no need to compare/put someone down...but obvi youre entitled to your opinion...and lets be honest oliver kinda started this interview series with the antm girls
I’m definitely the person that would be too shy or intimidated to speak up about that. I’m so proud of her for speaking up. Definitely a role model for me. She’s so beautiful and strong. I’m glad she’s been successful! ♥️
You're beautiful and strong too! Don't even doubt that ✨
You're so good at interviewing people, Jessica :o Everything is so natural, effortless and fluid !
Creds to Jessica for putting this together for us! It was so interesting to watch and have you guys connect.
great interview jessica, keenyah was so relaxed and very down to earth, its good to see that she is passing on her skills and knowledge to aspiring models, she is absolutely stunning and has not aged a day, thank you xx
Omg try to interview raja!!! He was the makeup artist on the show for years and he’s the winner of drag race
you are so compassionate and have so much info on this field i am seriously so impressed
She’s amazing and they treated her terribly on the show
I love Keenyah's style so much. The tattoo, hair, shirt, makeup, all of it. I can not get over it.
Jessica, I’ve recently discovered your channel and have enjoyed watching your reactions. Your interview with Keenyah is amazing. She is so well spoken and has such an amazing presence - the show definitely did her dirty! I just started rewatching ANTM from Cycle 1 and can’t believe the problematic content I consumed when I was a teen.
Keenyah’s got one of those unique, recognizable, shine from within smiles. You can’t help but smile with her. I have always loved her spirit, she is so beautiful.
I’m so proud of her for standing up for herself 🥲
This is my favorite interview. Very intuitive. You are so engaging and I love Keenyah's hair.
I love how she told her perspective especially with the food, saying it was only crew food I thought they had choices !!
Great interview! I actually liked that the earlier cycles had photoshoots with real brands---made it more legit
Been waiting for this one! She looks so great with the platinum blonde, buzz cut.
PLEASE interview India Gants! She was the season 23 winner. It’s be interesting to hear how the show was different without Tyra and the original panel. Plus she also has a RUclips channel and you guys could do collab reacts!!
I think she should interview Renee.
Keenya is just out here living her best life, looking 🔥
Keenyah! I watched a lot of ANTM until cycle 13-14 or so, and she was always one of my faves. I am so happy to hear how well she is doing.
Keenyah is such a well-spoken, beautiful person. Thanks for the interview, Jessica! :)
she looks SO beautiful and radiant, so much more confident and comfortable in her skin. I love getting to visibly see how much she’s grown since she was on the show ♥️
This is such a great interview! Keenyah is a delight. Jess you asked fantastic questions 👏🏾😀
I watched a few of your videos Jess, but this one made me hit subscribe so fast I couldn't believe it! You're amazing at interviewing!! And I love how you talked to her instead of just reacting to the video.
Anything you two would work on together, I'd watch it.
Gosh, she is stunning Masha'Allah! You too of course Jess!
I’m so happy Keenya came out on top after this!! She is stunning!!
This was just such a great interview! Keenyah is right, you're very great at this and I really enjoyed this not only because Keenyah but because of you too!
Jessica, your interview skills is second to none. Wow. I was extremely impressed. Love Keenyah. She is stunning and a role model.
Absolutely loved this. Loved that Keenyah briefly discussed her rising being
Libra, too 😂
I know this video is 2 years ago; but, Keenyah is STUNNING!!! She is breathtaking.
Woohooo dropping in first from NZ, looking forward to this
omg i am so glad to see this! i loved her on the show and she was so unfairly treated!
I wish we could find out about Bertini. She said there were issues when he went to NY
Honestly you are both such amazing strong women. This interview is incredible. You have such amazing advice for humans in general. I love it!
