    Especially the look on Kokujin's face afterwards as if he knew right away nuki's block was long over due to happen.

    This is because his team has a better makoto, his team for this year consists of daigo (KE) and haitani (MA). Player also switch main character over the years, Momochi's makoto to yun transition isn't the first. KO switched from yun to yang, boss switched from yang to yun, and now to makoto.

    Genki was in the tourny. He lost to Kokujin on first match (off streamed).

    WOW. I wish we had 3S tourneys like this in North America.

    Daigo is playing in SBO for 3rd strike, he made a deal with Momochi and Haitani that if one of them wins this qualifier (the only single-player qualifier for SBO due to niconico cho kaigi), ONLY then he would team up with them for SBO. Daigo made this deal because he thought Momochi and Haitani had no chance, considering players like KO, Rikimaru and Nuki who spend most of their gaming time on 3rd strike.

    Anybody else shocked to see RX and YSB eliminated? Must be all the exposure we have from their gameplay/reputation, lol

  • @Agenthai7
    @Agenthai7 12 лет назад

    I love watching RX play, but considering his opponent is KO and the tourny is one game single elim., this style suits KO style more so than RX.

  • @kurisupanda
    @kurisupanda 12 лет назад

    Hayao mentioned in a recent stream against Kuroda's Oro that he's undecided to attend SBO. This is because the date for SBO final tournament is undecided (August?).

  • @Protectobot
    @Protectobot 12 лет назад

    Ahhhhh, so you think RX's patience might lend him to being an endurance player? I hadn't really considered stamina. I do wonder, sometimes, if I only beat a player cos he's getting tired of winning and/or stops paying attention lol.

    Nuki vs MOV in round 1, that's crazy.

  • @Agenthai7
    @Agenthai7 12 лет назад

    Well KO style is really aggressive and random at times. Almost scrubby at times too. Playing against KO, you're not really playing Urien vs yang, but rather Urien vs KO. If you watch how MOV or kuroda go against KO, they tend to beat him pretty badly because they play really safe and try to bait him to be overaggressive. Basically if RX had momentum or a better feel of KO's play that day, he would have stood a chance in this match.

    Nothing. Where as Tougeki (SBO) is traditionally an Arcade Machine only tournament, Evo has migrated to consoles. All you would have to do is plug in your controller. Although I think you'd need to get a converter because I believe they primarily use the PS3 to play on.

    I honestly don't understand why Momochi picks Yun instead of Makoto. I mean, his Yun is awesome but his Makoto is beyond godlike.

  • @Protectobot
    @Protectobot 12 лет назад

    If you wanna combine the terms into 'randomly scrubby', that sounds like Vanao with denjin (although he's pretty good overall, I'd say) lol. KO plays very differently with Yang, as opposed to when he played Yun, I guess. I find it frustrating to watch MOV and Kuroda matches cos there seems to be hardly any footage of them! :( I think that, at least in Kuroda's case, he doesn't usually want/allow ppl to film him. It makes him seem either like he's a really private or self-conscious player?!

    RX maybe gearing up for SBO

  • @Protectobot
    @Protectobot 12 лет назад

    WOWsers. Haitani got crazy-good. Tominaga still seems to have the best overall execution when it comes to the kara-fukiage (or at least he uses it more than anyone). Rikimaru's actually been pretty crazy lately, too! I wish Genki were in the tourney lol. Higa still makes me think about learning Ibuki. Pierrot handles Gouki/Akuma pretty well :D I haven't seen Junin for forever. Of all the Japanese Goukis I've seen, he plays the most similarly to JR in the U.S.

    i understand that RX lost the first round. but does losing KO mean he's not qualified to compete in SBO?

  • @Protectobot
    @Protectobot 12 лет назад

    I seldom see RX lose against Yangs, regardless of the player, but one recorded match isn't very revealing by itself. RX doesn't seem to play much, lately (not sure about KO). Maybe they play more casuals, and there's the possibility of players being nervous during tournies, yet RX seems to be one of the calmest, most clutch players I've ever seen. Actually, RX seems to do well against all characters...I can't really think of any players or characters that beat him on a fairly regular basis!

    Well it's not really that surprising that RX lost, esp. considering he had to play KO first.

  • @hismit3rd

    I'm an Urien user and I must say RX did pretty poorly on recent tournaments he attended. Maybe because he doesn't play much like few years ago. The strongest Urien at this moment must be Ushi!?

    37:52 Tominaga blew off his chance to win the match. Too bad for him, this just show even the pro who have been practicing the same move thousands of time on countless of matches, could still make mistake on the most easiest part of the combo

    Damn, sugi would've gotten eliminated as well. Lucky ass nigga lol. Most of the top players from 3S got knocked off early in the round (ahem, RX). Wish all of them were in their prime, sugi wasnt too great on corner juggles. Great qualifying matches nonetheless.
