If you have no ferrule👍 in the end of the brake cable you can just push the cable housing up and add the inner cable from the top be done with it,thats how i mostly do it. Thank you for the shout it Tony👊
@Dylanmartin3141 That is another method to do it and I’ve used that method before many many times. In fact I made a step by step how to on a BMXMUSEUM doing that way. bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=796932 However after doing a few a dozen GT’s I noticed some inconsistency with the fork tubes and being able to make the transition from the fork tube to the steer tube. Therefore doing it the way I showed in my video eliminates the issue altogether. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Do you know the specific name of the color blue that gt performer you have on here is? Looks identical to my 90 dyno compe and am trying to find touch up paint
@junior-fd8ux it’s called electric blue. It was used from 1988-1990. This was originally powder coat and with a white base underneath. Essentially a “dayglow” color.
I appreciate the info.. all the info and this video aswell because I had a hell of a time before lol. I love that blue tho.. everyone who sees it does aswell
You are the best! Always very informative.
Makes total sense Tony!👍 Added it to my Atrains GT Encyclopedia📕
BTW the Aggressor looks just stunning!

Feed it up first thru the fork , then pull the cable thru your pots mod. Then you can put the stem in.
