I love how C&C3 has squads of infantry rather than individual troops, it’s one little detail that makes the scale of the battles feel much bigger than the red alert games
@@tbtilekkiller1738 Red Alert 3 is still fun though. You want to hear something sad? Halo Wars 3 would be coming out around now if it wasn't cancelled for no reason. Microsoft couldn't be developing two RTS games at the same time that would just be ridiculous. So Halo Wars 3 bit the bullet. Now we won't have another Halo game for at least five years.
Red Alert 3 was really good. The gameplay in it was solid. The only thing I didn't like was how the economy worked, but aside from that it was an excellently put together RTS and a nice break from the super-serious narrative of the Tiberium Universe. It also had a great, lively competitive scene which has always been really important in C&C games. It's expansion was fucking balls though.
Uh huh. I actually started playing C&C in 1996 and I've played every single game in the franchise. Red Alert 2's campaign was lame. Every mission followed the same format. Spam tanks. Run over infantry. There were a few missions where you were hamstrung into using one thing, but largely it was all the same. So few units had abilities as well that it amounted to literally nothing beyond spamming a wall of tanks to run through everything. It was easy, and I am always surprised that anyone played it at the regular, intended speed. Or slower (see a lot of old fans who like to play the game at the crawl of a snail) I preferred 3's campaign, short and simple. Either way I don't see why you'd play through the campaigns repeatedly unless revisiting them years later. I pumped hundreds of hours into each game in the online portions. Tiberium Wars is nearly perfect. I only wish there was a way to disable Superweapons. It's quite annoying to have half your base nuked just as you finish building it. Also, how does Nod continue to create Construction Yards after you bomb them to hell?
Superweapons are more of psychological torture. I literally couldn't play any red alert 2 mission that had me on timer against superweapons. Turns out you can survive 5 nukes in a row. The Zenith is my favorite one.
thank you for the upload
Tiberium Wars is nearly perfect. I only wish there was a way to disable Superweapons. It's quite annoying to have half your base nuked just as you finish building it. Also, how does Nod continue to create Construction Yards after you bomb them to hell?
Superweapons are more of psychological torture. I literally couldn't play any red alert 2 mission that had me on timer against superweapons. Turns out you can survive 5 nukes in a row. Same thing in TibWars, surviving a Ion blast builds character, I mean look at Kane, he survived at least one direct hit!
Missile Squad Ready for Combat.
