Two clarinets get in an argument but are then calmed down by a bass clarinet. Saved by the power of friendship. Видеоклипы
As a clarinetist, the ending is accurate, we're usually pretty chill.
If this were "2 Trumpets Get in an Argument" it would turn out much differently.
Lol yes
As a trumpet player, I agree.
>french horn joins in
>also starts arguing
>trombone joins in
>also starts arguing
>baritone joins in
>also starts arguing
>euphonium joins in
>also starts arguing
>tuba joins in
>tries to resolve the situation
>tuba gets insulted by baritone
>tuba starts arguing
The row of trombones sitting in front of them would need cochlea transplants
Yep
It takes 3 tubas, 5 trombones, 834 baritones/euphoniums, and 12344324565 french horns for us to stop arguing.
As a clarinetist, this is actually really funny because in my band, the bass clarinetist actually solves a lot of our problems 😭
Edit: news update. The bass graduated. I became the only bass and I for some reason solve the problems now-
That's great, love those bass clarinet vibes
found u 😈
Sup from da bass clarinet
In my band, the bass clarinetist gets bullied :(
thats how it tends to go yeah
Anyone else remember when cartoons were just this with some hastily drawn characters of odd proportion?
Oh yea, good stuff
My initial thought was "This is a lot like the way the characters from Don't Starve talk!" which I think that game is based off of the old cartoon characters you mentioned anyway.
@@LtMashumaro It definitely sounds like dont starve dialogue, yeah!
@@LtMashumaro Live audio of Wilson after meeting Maxwell on the nightmare throne
I'm glad they were able to resolve despite their differences, how sweet
Me too
"I'm glad they were able to resolve despite their dissonances." You missed an opportunity there
So wholesome
@@Beanie1879 THAT'S GENIUS
Fr fr the clarinets are like this chillest people in our band. However, if this were “Two Percussionists get into an Argument”, things would descend into pure madness.
This is... genuinely heartwarming.
Thank you I like warm hearts
@@ryanmckennamusic ... with fava beans and a nice Chianti?
PS: Great post with the clarinets! Like that Michael Jackson song, Ebony and Ebony and Bass Ebony, getting along in harmony.
Ikr! That’s what I was thinking
this could be very funny if its on a live performance
Yes agreed
With live subtitling. Or a sign-language interpreter.
@@casperdewith Or... both.
Let us all strive to become bass clarinets.
As a bass clarinet this warms my heart
@@upperbiscuit114 same!😂
bass clarinet here
There only one other bass rizzlet than me THERES only 2 in total
:)
Proof that without a bass clarinet there is no harmony.
⬆️ Needs more likes
This is very clever and I love the text which takes us through the argument to resolution. I really like the use if the bass clarinet and saving it until near the end gives it real impact.
Thanks
Very nice how it goes from atonalism (the disagreement) back to a tonal harmony (the power of friendship).
Oh yea nothing says friendship like some major chords
I absolutely love the character that you brought with the clarinets; literally. Good job mate, we're proud of you.
🥹 thanks
This should low-key be performed in orchestras across the world because this is so awesome and creative
Mad respect to anyone who can actually play those runs and not just blindly move their fingers
This is 100% accurate. In my school’s orchestra we knew not to mess with the woodwind section as they were the toughest of the toughest and the meanest of the mean. Nobody was sure why, or how, but they knew how to hurt someone with a toot of fury.
well... the loudest drums (if played together) are the traditional Taiko drums in Japan
if i play a very bass note with my octave key on
*lets just say its very loud*
(-alto sax player)
Unironcally slaps
Nice 😎
omigosh yes
As a bass clarinetist who has solved many problems in the band, I can confirm that this is accurate
I would love to play this with my two best friends for solo and ensemble if that's okay. I'll have to change it a little as one friend plays flute but I can easily transcribe it. The other parts are fine as our group is me bass clarinet/ t. sax, a clarinet, and flute.
I had a huge smile on my face the whole time watching it, its so silly.
Play away that sounds fantastic!
What do you mean two clarinets have better problem-solving skills than my entire family
Nice composition! Very well written and how you've put a narrative to it.
Thank you!
Guess we all need a bass clarinet friend in our lives
This is great. This just got recommended to me randomly. Loving it!
Same
😁

Im a bass clarinet and Im not a fan of the regular clarinets, but there have been so many times this has happened 🤣
This could be turned into a whole piece with more instruments! It's beautiful!
as a bass clarinet player i very much enjoyed that the bass was the calm one and made everything better
I am a bass clarinetist and I am actually often solving clarinet’s problems, in a fun way of course
The most formal argument I have ever heard- and it's two instruments at war
Base Clarinets always solve the Clarinets’ problems, especially in my band lmao this was beautiful
Wonder what the oboe would be like
I play oboe and that thing can be sassy sometimes
ooh a fellow oboe player. let me introduce to you, something called m u l t i p h o n i c s
@@jakerussell135 the funniest of
I woke my brother up with them once
*the funniest sound
sassy oboes, good stuff
As a Bass Clarinet, you’re very welcome, this argument was indeed quite stubborn.
We all need a bass clarinet in our lives
As a clarinet, this is amazing. I would totally be 2nd clarinet and the saxophone would always solve me and the other clarinet's problems lol
This is a brilliant demonstration of how note length works using both visual (sight reading) and aural elements.
the subtitles are actually just how clarinets converse with each other
As a clarinet player, I find this very relatable. Except the bass clarinet player just adds fuel to the fire. No happy agreement.
Wow.. Your musical sense is so great that I just shocked. It sounds like real arguement, and the whole flow of this music is very humorous! I love it!!!!
This is like when the violins and violas get into an argument. Not the same instrument, but the same context XD
the fact that in my band im the bass clarinetist that solves the problems, and the other bass clarinetist is the one that causes them. this is very ammusing and will be showing it to the clarinet army we have
I love how despite it genuinely feels like an argument, it's still pleasing to the ears
The most polite argument
As a clarinetist, this is the funniest thing I've ever seen, Ive watched this countless times and smile every time
Like how the bass clarinet helped out. It does indeed make me feel calm when I play mine.
This is adorable!!!!! Happy friend clarinets.
It'd be so fitting to animate Don't Starve characters to this lol
The beginning really does sound like a don’t starve voice line
As a clarinetist, I absolutely adore this. Not only does it genuinely sound like a musical argument, but it’s musically coherent and is honestly just a really good piece. I wanna get some friends together and play this haha
Such an ingenious piece! Great job!
Man, I love music so much. This was lovely. :)
As a clarinetist I find this relatable and funny and the bass clarinet solves the problems
This is so cool. I'd love to see more!
Thanks! I do some composing/arranging when I'm not just playing with my looper, so might have more stuff coming down the pipeline...
@@ryanmckennamusic Awesome! I'm looking forward to it. :)
@@ryanmckennamusic i cannot wait
As a bass clarinet player, I love this
We need this, but with aggressive flutes
Absolutely brilliant, and also hilarious.
Massive kudos to you for this!
Many thanks!
"We are now yelling"
this is absolutely amazing thank you for blessing the world with this song
Thank you for your kind words
This is brilliant!
i appreciate the endorsement as a bass clarinetist
This is actually BRILLIANT!
I got an ad right under this video for Charleston clarinetist 💀
As a Bb Clarinet band kid, yes, we do this, other do it the more Show Off way and it is called a non-lyriced duet
i love how even when arguing they stay sophisticated 😂
This made me feel so funky with it switching ears with head phones
the little synced beeps of the original two clarinets during the bass intervention are definitely them trying to get a word in but jinxing
This is incredible I love this SO MUCH
this made me happier than I thought it would
I love how it resembles every argument ever
This is beautiful
Internal conflict be like...
I respect the bass clarinet for saving my ears
Why the bass clarinetists always so chill
Wonderfully clever and musical! Well done! :)
wow this was beautiful!
This is the best video ever possible.
Squidward and Spongebob having an argument but they come in terms
Now I'm just thinking of the ep where SpongeBob is in Squidward's dream and becomes a clarinet
This is actually creative and wellwritten👏👏
Man, those clarinets are so civil and calm, if this were to happen to our baritones or our tenor saxes, someone is going to the E.R..
so beautiful
i just picture loony toons while listening to this for some reason
As a clarinet player, I have to say this was beautiful
Just wait until the bassoon and the bass clarinet get into an argument…
beautiful, true art. brought tears to my eyes :')
Aww thank you!
And then the flute comes in and screeches the high octave F. As a flute player, I know from experience.
As a clarinet player, I will say, this does seem accurate. I don’t fight with my section a lot, but when we do, it’s brief, and there’s always someone who diffuses the situation. (Wether it be a trombone or a percussionist)
we need a french horn version
Glad to see us bass clarinets getting love!
Beautiful story.
As the only Clarinet player in my band, I am glad I can’t have an argument like that
Superb.
This Truly is THE statement on the human condition and the very nature of friendship and contrasting opinions! There were highs! And lows! A true nail biter.
I was expecting absolute screeching and screaming near the end.
I loved this as a clarinetist
I play the clarinet and this is amazing!
That play-bar moving across the screen is everyone with OCD musician's nightmare
can’t wait for the sequel. 3 clarinets are bickering
The bass clarinet coming in with that councilor energy
I never realized I liked the clarinet up until now.
If only people could be more like these music notes, lol
This is art
this is art
Do you bite your reed at me sir?
No, I do not bite my reed at you, but I do bite my reed
And then the clarinets get in a fist fight only to be stopped by older cousin clarinet
In the continued version of this, there is another clarinet belonging to an enemy clarinet group who ends up causing the fight to restart
Idk what it says about my humour but I was waiting for the bass clarinet to say [extremely controversial opinion] and throw everything into earrapey chaos
Imagine oboes & clarinets arguing. And then flutes just start screaming for no specific reason
