I'm a "big black guy" myself being 6'4'', over 240 and been lifting for years now. It also doesn't help that I naturally have a look on my face that makes it seem like I'm always angry when I'm not. I've been told that a lot and because of that it's rare that someone would just come over and have a conversation with me. I find myself most of the time being self conscience about it and I tend to go out of my way trying to be more welcoming to people. I think Terry either does the same but to a greater degree or he's just a naturally nice, fun loving guy who just so happens to be big, black and muscular.

Needless to say, Size *_can_* matter, but smart people can size a person up & evaluate all the ways to turn their size/weight _against_ them. Giving them (the smaller of the two) the advantage.
