As a reminder, the RDA of sodium for people with hypertension is 1,500mg per day. The American Diabetes Association suggests no more than 45-60g carbohydrates per meal if you have Type 2 diabetes, depending on your activity level.
As per her videos, Chantal has been easily consuming over 500gr carbs/sugar, daily.
I wonder what's the effect of 2000mg Metformin have to it. 🤔
@@natie4u she is on the max amount of metformin daily. She really needs other meds added or just be put on an insulin pump. What she is doing is so scary.
@MyMomCallsMeSar I wonder if she is even taking her meds anymore. It's not like this last wake-up call, and lifestyle change lasted even a week... 🤷🏼♀️
@@MyMomCallsMeSarCertainly needs more medical visits but the idea of her doing the work for an insulin pump is crazy (personal experience with a smart teenager starting on a pump). She would do better on a long acting plus supplemental short acting for eating. DH maintains an A1C of less than 7 with a Metformin dose of 500mg and logical eating plus exercise. Her idea that meds alone will manage her diabetes without any work is delusional.
@patti1044 Yeah. I don't think she is responsible to dose herself with insulin at each meal. A pump would be a little easier for the average person who actually cares out their health and blood sugar. Pump or not, I feel like she would make some big mistakes with it but she is still uncontrolled and is obviously not going to adjust her eating. I can't imagine being in her situation and not being absolutely terrified.
But in another video, she didn't want to drink spring water because it has sodium in it. She is a complete joke!!!!!!
Yup!
But don't you know that the 5-25 mg of sodium in a liter of mineral or spring water is really bad for you? Dr. Foodie said so... 🙄🤦🏼♀️
...water that would have to miles better than *this* garbage...
But she drinks soft drinks with heaps of sodium...
I think everybody was waiting for this particular video 🙃
💯 😊
Honestly, I didn't think it would be this bad!
Ikr..As soon as I saw how much she ate, I couldn't wait until this vid dropoed
I was waiting for it.
I was!!! 😂
10,448 mg of sodium has got to be her highest yet. That's insane. Great video.
Thank you!
I'm curious and will be looking to see just how swollen she is in today's vids. Wonder if we will hear " I took my ring off to wash dishes and forgot to put it back on" ...again. 🙄
A regular, fairly healthy person would struggle with those numbers. 🫥
This is all part of the pickling of the internal organs process and the ingredients to achieve it...high sodium, high carb, high glucose numbers.
It’s crazy how her organs haven’t just given up at this point. A testament to the resilience of the human body!
More salt than a mermaid’s bath water. 🧂 💦
I like that!
🤭
😂 wonderful!
True!🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂💜
Chantal has to feel awful constantly. I don't understand her need to eat every morsel of food she buys ( except for fresh produce). That could have been at least 3 meals.
Yup! If she had added white rice instead of the noodles, and a soup instead of the springrolls, then it could have been made into 2 reasonable meals.
Astounding, isn't it? She must feel like crap all day, every day. Such a sad existence.
Very sad
At this point, RUclips would be doing her a favor by banning her channel for any number of violations, particularly the exploitation of binge eating disorder. This needs to be OFF of this platform.
@@K-km3gl If she lost her channel, she wouldn't be able to afford take out, her "husband" would disown her, she'd go back to Canada, and she'd be forced to find a job. That's a huge improvement over this sedentary gluttonous life she's living, might even buy her a few more years of life. Win-win
Won't happen she always gets away with everything in life
Totally.
no different than an alcoholic drinking or someone shooting up druugs
All we can do is keep reporting the videos. Hopefully they listen if we’re all doing it. We have reason to. It’s dangerous behaviour. So it’s not mass flagging.
She has said a couple of times she doesn’t want to drink the spring water they buy because it has sodium. I just can’t.
However knowing her, it makes perfect sense.🙃
Ain't no way a doctor told her to boil water to lower her sodium intake. I think it's her genius mind that came up with that story.
Yet doesn't worry about Chinese food. I haven't decided if she's that dumb or thinks she's getting one over on her haters.
She seems so disappointed that it's over and out of breath at the end every time.
Great point--it's almost like it's a food challenge for her.
She eats so quick that her brain can’t receive the information: I am full. Therefore she is sad and unsatisfied. I think she is aware that she has to be so quick bc she couldn’t do it otherwise
🍝GORL, count ya rice grains, count ya spaghetties, AND COUNT YA COINS!💰 You deserve success on every level for your patience!🌷
Awwww, thank you so much!
Watching Chantal consume a meal in one sitting that my husband and I would take three days to eat, was sobering. She shovels in food, but the Chinese food gave me a true measuring stick.
When we get Chinese, I tend to get lo mein. I eat it over the course of about 3 meals.
Large volume of food 😬
exactly what I was thinking. Last time I got Chinese food I got ONE dish and it took me three days to eat it.
At the end she looks sad the food is all gone and tired from being stuffed. 10k of sodium!!!
It's interesting that she doesn't think about WHY she is tired.
I order the same meal.
My mother and father split one, with an egg roll for each person, and I have half of the other, with the last egg roll.
All three of us have enough for a lunch portion the following day.
She ate the entire thing in a single, short sitting, and added three types of sauce on the noodles.
😮😮😮
My. God.
Sauces are literally the easiest thing to eliminate or reduce to instantly cut the sugar, fat grams, sodium, and calories, depending on the sauce. I rarely see the extremely fit people in my life "glug-glug- glugging" a bunch of sauce onto their food.
Excellent point!
So right, all this sauces are often pure salt, sugar and fat. It’s easy to quit them
As a person of Chinese descent, if we ate like this, we’d all be dead in 10 years 😅
RIGHT??? I'm SE Asian but we balance our meals out with steamed or raw veggies, clear soups, etc. Our portions are nowhere NEAR the size of Chinese takeout portions.
Keep up the amazing work you do Sansa! You are helping all of us make good choices..I appreciate you so much 🙏❣️🙏
Thank you so much for your generosity. I really appreciate your support.
Every time she does a mukbang I can’t wait to see your video pop up in my feed! Thank you for your “nerdy” science:) keep it coming.
🤯 i dont know if my insurance covers the amount of damage i just sustained seeing those macros.. i think my mind has been LITERALLY blown..... i heard a pop...😢
This mukbang was a nightmare!! I can't believe she ate it all!
I believe it--she eats it so fast, she doesn't feel the effects until after she's done.
@@SansaCooks The crazy part was that when she was finished eating she looked depressed that the food was GONE and sighed deeply, I truly believe she wanted more food tbh! As someone with severe type 2 beetus I can garantee that she felt awful and drunk afterwards, WHY do that to her body it´s crazy and stupid. Thanks Sansa for a great video! Love from Sweden!
Foodie is the only person that can eat for a family of 4, in 8 minutes. When she gets banned from YT, she can take up competitive eating. Sodi-yum 🤣🤣
Good thing shes watching her water sodium intake.
Right??? LOL
She will never give up all the sodium-laden sauces, it's the only way she can taste her food after destroying her natural ability to taste by eating so much ultraprocessed crap. She'd need to completely give up all the crap food for quite some time to regain natural taste but she doesn't have the willpower. If it were anyone else, I'd pity the state they have reached.
I think it’s also why she puts hot sauce on everything. It’s the only thing left she can somewhat taste.
Didn't she reset her body and sense of taste? 😊
Don't be afraid of being a "food nerd" Sansa! Your videos are not just useful for pointing out Foodie's dangerous eating, but they help those of us who are actually trying to stay on track. But, despite your warning my wig did flip when I saw those macros. Even a tied down babushka didn't keep it on. Holy Moly!!!😱😰😱😳🤯
The only reason I’m subscribed is BECAUSE you’re a nerd who counts forkfuls! I’ve spent this entire week measuring my own forkfuls because of you. It’s been very enlightening. Thank you!
“In the name of science. That, and Adsense.”
Respect Sansa lol you’re great
Thank you!
I believe you, Sansa. As someone who has been counting calories and weighing things out for many years, your numbers were not all that shocking. (The sodium was only because it seems like Chantal is going for a personal record of 20k plus mg of sodium in a single meal and I can't imagine what that is doing to her internal organs. It is unshocking that she is so bloated in most vidoes and livestreams now that her eyelids are nearly glued shut.
When I get chinese, it may seem counterintuitive, but I actually prefer the buffet, so I can have it fresh, and I am sure to only get ONE level scoop of whatever i want (usually fried rice, a few different kinds of the chicken they offer, and one egg roll.) In this way I prioritize protein and dont let my portion sizes get out of control. Then I record my estimates based on the same methods you do. My typical chinese food meal is just above 1800 calories and over 130 grams of protein, which is around my daily protein intake, so even if I do OMAD that day I get my protein in for muscle fuel at the gym.
Thank you for your videos. As a veteran of calorie counting, some of your tips and tricks even help me, and I am happy to see you teaching others who are new to it
(Edit for typo)
And then after she ate all that food, she went and layed down seal style. Just unbelievable. She must feel awful everyday!! 😬
Yup!
My gawd....that's literally 3 days of calories for me & I walk 20,000 steps a day. I always try & stay between 50-100 carbs max a day!! Wowwww.... Holy 💩
Ok, I’m finally speechless.
Yay finally! Was eagerly awaiting your video on this, keep up the good work ❤️
Thank you!
We've got to be close to another medical emergency and begging Allah for forgiveness after this meal.
PrayiNG and prayiNG
I haven't watched this video of this meal. Wow! She ate all this in 19 minutes! The numbers are shocking.😮
They really are!
She apparently has tons of cravings , sometimes for food she's never had...but never says no to a craving. Smh. So much for I dare my cravings to come back! 😅
She dared, she lost.
Does she not realize she doesn't have to give in to every craving?
It’s starting to feel like she’s trying to “off” herself one forkful at a time 😮 this is shocking as usual
She’s in delulu land. She thinks because she can’t see it there’s no damage. Until the next crisis.
I don't know why, after all this time I am astounded at how much she can eat, so quickly.
Same here!
I would argue it is authentic chinese food, authentic take away chinese food that has been adapted to fit the tastes of the country it is made in. I tend to think of authentic and tradtional as different things. I can not get over the amount of calories, sodium and carbs she eat in 20 minutes. Generally that is almost 4 days worth of calories and carbs for me and yeah I can devour 4k worth of cals in one sitting but even I would struggle to wolf it down in 20 minutes and I unfortunately eat almost as fast as her generally.
I was WAITING for this!! Stopping the video... Guestimation 2,700 cals and 150 mg of sodium. Let's see how close I got...😳
OMG...NOT EVEN CLOSE...
🤦♀️
How does a human body even survive that much salt...OMG 😳
At least 20 times more sodium, more like 3 000 mg. imo. I paused the video too.
😅😂😅😂 That hand grenade wasn't even close to the target.
Holy Molly, not even close! 😳😳
She even surprised me with this one.
I'm not a skinny queen myself. Have had issues with emotional eating my entire life. But when I woke up one morning and saw that my weight had a "3" in the front, I knew it was time to change. I've lost since then and am scheduled for WLS in October, but I always feel embarrassed eating in front of others, especially if it's unhealthy food. I know Chantal doesn't care about her own body or other people's opinions, but I just can't rationalize how she can sit in front of a camera and eat this poorly and not feel embarrassed! I know I would never show my face online again, lol. Anything for that feeder coin, I guess.
Excellent video as always, Sansa!
I wish you much luck achieving better health. Take care
Sansa, thank you for all the information!! Plus, for your calm voice. You always make my day great!! 🎉❤😊
Glad you enjoy the videos!
I couldn't agree more. Love Sansa.
Gobsmacked, yet again 😱 One huge problem she has is portion sizes, and I doubt she will ever be able to correct this . Thank you 😊
Holy light, I guestimated 2700-3000 calories and 3000 mg of sodium! Geesh, I was wrong, can't belive my eyeballs! 😳😳😳
This one was truly shocking.
Starting my work day off with this! Thanks Sansa 💗
You're so welcome!
I'd literally die if I ate that much food. Why foodie, I thought you were praying to God that it wasn't too late??
I think we all would 💀⚰️💀
She did, for about 20 mins till she had a craving. Lol
Girl, I was just talking about how I couldn’t wait for Sansa to drop this heat 😂😂😂 Love you!🥰
Hope you enjoyed it!
No bc you ppl dont understand.. this is all safe and normal training for basecamp. Dehydration is a thing so she needs to be able to train her body to handle more sodium and thus hold on to more water while making the trek up.
Healthier options like steamed dumplings, garlic chicken + broccoli and *some* white rice wouldn't give her the energy and endurance required. Just watch, she's gonna be laffin at us all when she makes it!
Me, after seeing the Chinese food: Holy crap! That would be at least five meals for me!
Me, after Sansa throws up the macros: Holy crap! I was right!
Oh my 😂.
She was clearly "satisfied" and "satiated" by that meal.
But then noticed that perhaps it was a wee bit too salty afterwards 🤣😂🤣😂.
oh my god I almost fell off my chair when I saw the lineup, this is unbelievable I, I am speechless, really
Call me a bad person but knowing she feels like crap after every feeding is strangely satisfying to me. May she have the health she deserves.
Wow! I am blown away. She needs inpatient.
Thank you for your service Sansa. You are invaluable to the community. I love your kind and soft manner. You are a gem 💎
Thank you so much!
Shes getting the "candy cough".....sounds just like HFC's phlemmy cough
😬😬😬
Yep. Chantal's caught Candy's "juicy lungs."
Well that sounded not good
Yes indeed, we were all waiting for this… and foodles called you a weirdo… girl you know you’ve made it when foodie is bashing you on a live 🤣🤣🤣 a single chicken fried rice feeds both of us for 2 nights plus a lunch. One of those trays goes a long way
There is a little shop in Portsmouth, New Hampshire that sells nothing but salt. You can get blocks of salt to serve your food on, as well as big blocks of salt and a grater to grate your salt onto the food. I think they'd be envious of the amount of salt in this meal.
Wow, how cool!
Thanks! We really appreciate your work. The only way to know what is going in your mouth is to cook it at home and weigh/measure everything or actually read the macros/portion sizes that are available.
Thank you so much for your generosity. You're absolutely right! Macros are impossible to get 100% right unless you cook and anyone with medical dietary restrictions should be cooking anyway.
I don't get paid to eat. However. I don't think you could pay me enough to make myself sick. I get the slightest bit of indigestion, and I'm praying for mercy.
Omgoodness!!!! 😮😮 Those macros are mind blowing 🤯🤯🤯
Yup!
Holy cat! That sodium level is insane! Omg!
Yup!
You are an awesome nerd Sansa! You are well informed and fact check. Love watching your content, especially the macros you show.
It blows my mind that she automatically dumps soy sauce on her food without even tasting it. She has no tastebuds left.
I hate that SO MUCH.
I couldn't wait for you to cover this! Thankyou!
Hope you enjoyed it!
We’ve been waiting for this and it did NOT disappoint 😮
Glad you enjoyed it!
I have no words for this except to say thank you for all the hard work you put into producing this eye-opening, (or should I say "eye-popping,") information. it's greatly appreciated. Cheers, Miss S. 💖
You're very welcome!
@@SansaCooks 🤗😘
When I saw the numbers, I literally shouted, "G**D***!" in complete disbelief.
I checked it THREE times.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
I have always felt that you have slightly underestimated how much she eats so I definitely believe the numbers that you have posted. I'm so glad you posted this because looking at that food made me want Chinese looking at those numbers makes me absolutely certain I will not be ordering! Thank you for all your hard work and the science that you put into this.❤❤❤
I love your videos and look forward to them. How can a diabetic eat like this all the time and not have complications!?. Maybe no diabetic can..
No diabetic should. She has complications but chooses to deny/ignore them. I'm sure she felt horrible after.
Thank you for the time and detail you invest in credible content.
You're very welcome!
19 minutes to eat all that?!
Holy crap,
then after she had a giant burp and a cough without covering her germy mouth!!
😮
Edit to say:
great suggestions that you made-your diet advice to foodie is excellent!
Thank you!
Unbelievable numbers but so believable for her. I don’t think she cares🤷♀️. Thank you 🙏
I agree 100%
“I was craving” we all crave foods sometimes, but choosing not to indulge the craving or to eat only a small portion are also options instead of ordering huge family meals of whatever you’re craving
You're really careful to be accurate so there's no way she can comment. I love that .
🤓🤓🤓
I gasped when I noticed she actually ate it allllll.
This is one of those meals where when I eat bought it, it appears I never took a bite out of it bc
A. The serving size is usually HUGE
B. It’s verrrry rich & filling
They’d sat in my refrigerator for a day or two and I’d eventually thrown it out.
Now, I recall when I introduced my mom to American Chinese food. She’d often request it and pour packet after packet of soy atop and I remember saying Mom! How can you???!!! It’s already sooooo salty to taste!
Now, what do I order?
When I was younger and SMO, I enjoyed classic deep fried chicken sweet and sour with fried rice.
As I got older, and lost my weight, and taste for carby salt bombs, I found Kung Pao chicken- I enjoy that it’s not breaded, and has a lovely spicy sauce and lots of veggies. I eat probably 1/4c rice, if that, now with it.
My preference for Asian takeout is Korean (you name it and I love it! Particularly all the banchan aka sides- and I make a good kimchi)
And Thai, which I’m very particular about and enjoy classic curries, laabs, stir fries like pad Thai, and salads.
I used to literally almost exclusively eat Korean homemade dishes I learned from watching RUclips. I would go and buy my ingredients at the international supermarket and prepare at home. I have only had takeout like twice, and prefer my home cooked dishes.
I love a balance of the salty sweet umami bitter and spicy.
Most takeout just tastes like salt to me.
Who do you like to watch for Korean cooking? I've been watching Aaron and Claire because his recipes are simple.
I love kimchi
Thanks Sansa.😀👍🏻
Any time!
Love the music choice here
Thank you!
Y’all she’s taking her meds which means she can eat whatever she wants 😂😂
Riiiiiiiiiight
Holy mother of god 🤯 DOING GREAT CUTIE 👍🏼 great work Sansa!!!! Ty ❤
You are so welcome☺️
My vote is for her to try a century egg. It's definitely authentic and she loves preserved things. Plus it'd make a great video.
I like century eggs in congee!!! I cut them up into tiny cubes. My nanny was Chinese.
@@SansaCooks 😋 I love Chinese too. I love Asian food from every region and I cook it on the regular, so it makes me sad when I see her do things like eat generic, crappy takeout (don't even get me started on the "sushi"), make excuses for not buying the ingredients to make it at home or go to Thailand and sort of make an effort to eat local but then give up completely because she's just too uncomfortable to continue. If she somehow makes it to Indonesia, Malaysia or Japan like she keeps mentioning, I hope she makes more of an effort to showcase local cuisine. I'm not gonna hold my breath, though.
Just talking carbs alone that amount is what i eat in about 20 days. Lol.
You're wasting your time giving advice at the end. SHE DOESN'T CARE SANSA!!! Which is sad cause your suggestions would help her. She blocked me for suggestions lol or maybe cause SHE'S jealous of ME cause i lost a massive amount of weight, on my own, while drinking spring water.
Thank you for all you do!! I appreciate you 💙💙💙
Thank you so much!
But the spring water has too much sodium for her 🤪
She's so delusional.
Oh and Sansa Cooks I love mapo tofu, when is made well it’s absolutely delicious 🌞💜
I totally agree!
I think those forkfuls were about a half a cup each. Just incredible.
Some were smaller.
I cannot imagine eating that food in those quantities! That’s just gross, and I’d be sick if I tried to eat all that oily, carb heavy food.
I think there’s a distinction to be made between authentic Chinese-American dishes like orange chicken, general tso’s chicken, and chow mein and authentic Chinese dishes that people eat in China like stuffed bitter melon, steamed fish, and stir fried cabbage. They are very different, but both can be tasty. But the Chinese American dishes are higher in fat and calories for sure, and someone who needs to watch their sodium intake needs to be careful when ordering either. Their portions are crazy too, typical of American restaurant culture.
Hey, she finally got those protein numbers up👍😂
Yay!
I liked your healthy choices swap at the end of the video. I may have to try that tofu.
It's good if you like spice!
@@SansaCooks I loopoove spice.
She doesn't care about the authenticity of foods. She wants fatty, salty, sugary food in large quantities, and as fast as possible. Even if she does have veggies, they are soaked in sauces and dipped in other sauces.
True!
Yrs! That broccoli looked gross!!!
Yes, that’s it, everything has to be drowned in sauce, salty, fat and pure sugar
Perfectly crafted reaction - fantastic work. You deserve all the Adsense
Wow, thank you!
OMG 4000 calories is what I eat over THREE days 😮
I wear a continuous glucose monitor and I kinda want to eat one of her mukbangs and see what it does to my glucose… but, I also don’t want to die. 😑😑😑
Don’t it’s not worth it. You will feel horrible inside and out. You don’t need to be a Guinea pig to know the results. Take care of yourself don’t be like foodie!!!
The only responsible way you could do this would be to have a small portion of each dish and see how THAT affects you, if that makes sense. Maybe 1 spring roll, 1/2 cup of General Tso's chicken, and 1/2 cup of lo mein. That would be a relatively small, but still representative plate. Easily about 1/8-1/6 the amount of food she ate.
Please don't! How she eats is so so so dangerous. It's not worth the damage. I used to wear a CGM when my T2D was uncontrolled. I was shocked to see how a Greek salad with grilled chicken affected my blood sugar. This would just be insane.
I love your style of videos! It gives us a new perspective on the food because I always wonder how any calories 😮
Glad you like them!
Girl!!you are amazing on info. I watch her mostly thru u to see effery!! Those who whine just whine..never do anything else!!! Which Def means u are doing goddess work 😂😂😂❤❤
Thank you for your content
My pleasure!
Yeah but the sodium in water is the real heartstopper /s
Exaccccccctly. I've been loving your intro songs, btw!
@@SansaCooks Thank you very much! ❤
Doe Eyed Kookie covered this as well
Your charts are great Sansa👍
Thank you!
409 carbs! That’s gonna speed up the sugar foot
Yeah, it doesn't surprise me considering she ate an appetizer and two entrees and used extra sauce. It's not necessary to add more soy sauce when the food already has sauce on it. And even with a single entree, they typically give you enough to take home leftovers. I know it can be easy to overestimate what a serving of something is, but that is so far beyond that. On some level, she has to know this isn't normal. She just doesn't care.
I am shooketh!
Thank You SansaCooks, What a Sickening thing, it's sad really, but she's determined to 💀
