A sandwich uses sandwich bread. A burger uses a bun or bread roll. In Australia and New Zealand, calling a chicken burger a chicken sandwich is just odd (and wrong). Just sayin....
Lmao '' just sayin '' like what you said matters, it's a US restaurant, they come up with the names and your petty nonsense is so childish. NZ is so small but always acts so big, if you took away all American restaurants in NZ people would go through withdrawals, because even though you all like to act smarter than Americans you sure do love their stuff. You're odd and wrong with your island syndrome thinking everyone has to conform to your ways when the US brought something new to NZ and all of you filled the restaurant immediately because there's not much else to do in this country lmao.
I'm a kiwi and yes I agree NZ fast food (especially from large chains) is generally not spicy enough. I refer to it as commercial spicy . It is disappointing as a spice lover
I couldnt believe how NOT spicy the Ghost pepper burger at BK was. It was hardly noticeable. This country would find mayo spicy. The only truly spicy fast food experience I have had here is with Hell pizza when they did the Angry dragon, and roulette. I couldnt finish the angry dragon. Only managed 3 slices before I tapped out. Look forward to eventually trying popeyes.
im glad you're here to confirm if the chains here in new zealand are similar to their american counterparts, im always super curious to know whats different
Yes, I've been curious to know if our ranch sauce actually taste the same as American ranch. I'm not a fan of ranch but Americans obviously love ranch especially when it comes to eating fried chicken, their drowning their chicken in ranch that's why I'm curious to know if it's the same as I don't get the hype if it is.
@MAZZAR0TH what like spice traders or Tulsi? I sapose so. Though KFC doesn't specialize in spicy. I would go to independent Indian or Thai, for that matter, not a chain. Also, independent fried chicken is everywhere now; generally, you don't leave disappointed if you ask for spice. Admittedly I have had hot and spicy KFC in the US, and it was a bit hotter, but it was awful in every other way.

Burger is beef. Americans call mince as ground beef or "hamburger." Hamburger is the old fashioned word for mince in the usa. It's part of the dialect. So, if it's beef, it's a burger. If it's chicken, it's a sandwich. Because chicken isn't made of hamburger. That's why americans call it a sandwich if it's not beef.
@@jeffhardisty I'm not arguing that point. What I AM saying is that it IS an american company selling american food so it's likely going to have american names. And there's nothing wrong with that.

Korean Fried Chicken place yeah? Their chicken is bangin; so is Kokadak and their Gochujang Chicken is super spicy too. For American style I still rate Texas Chicken over Popeyes (which is better than KFC)

Al Copeland WAS an intersting guy, I met him a few times - very nice and very funny. Dude had huge ears, lol. He used to have a truck that drove his big beautiful speed boat on a trailer around town and post it up in various popeyes parking lots around the city.

Good to hear it’s similar to the one in the U.S. sorry you didn’t get your sauce, I hate that! Especially if you’ve paid extra for it.
An American Biscuit is not the same as a New Zealand Scone. The biscuit has a slightly different recipe. Best meal with American. Biscuits covered with white sausage gravy. Very popular in the south.
