I am auditorial and motoric. I learn best when I see, do , feel and hear. Specially with music I learn more when I transcribe it and practice from there using blocking and arpeggio. When I was in my college 25 years ago I approach learning music by looking at music staff. There was no freedoom or fun there in learning because everything was so rigid and you have to play exactly like the person who wrote the music sheet. There is no personality of yourself there . What brings me more and more closer to music is learning by transcribing and it's fun doing it although it may sounds not exactly alike but you are able to jam along with the music. So I was very happy with approach and I learn a lot more by doing so.
One of the best ways that I've found in helping me transcribe pieces is at some point practicing with midi files that are just random from what ever source on the internet. I'll play a few measures and voicings I'm hearing and then check with the midi file as I watch and compare with the actual midi file. It confirms my playing and ear is correct or incorrect without any subjective information.
If you want a free program to slow down music, get Audacity. Import an mp3, left click, drag and highlight the whole track, hit “effect,” and hit “change tempo.” The rest is self explanatory
Nkuna Lesley yes, that’s correct. Still doesn’t explain why you’d want to start a song in it’s relative minor or major if that’s not where it’s composed. If the song is in a minor, then start it in a minor key, same thing goes for major keys. I feel you may be over complicating the relative key relationship thing

oops I bought wrong headphone. It should be studio monitoring headphone right?
warren what if a song is at a minor key but I take it as starting from 6 of relative major? Can that be a problem? Right here in South Africa.
If the song is In a minor key why would you want to start it the relative major? Not sure I understand this question
@@PianoLessonwithWarren since Eb minor share its scale chords with F# Major.. wouldn't I call it f# major?
