As a fellow ddb main, i can confirm that monsters with ice blight are the worst if they hit you while you have 0 stamina and the best when they hit you when you have full stamina ( ice blight makes stamina regen / usage slower
I found this pretty helpful. I didn’t use the dual blades too much cuz I like doing more dmg, but I also like speed. But surfing across the monster is always fun.
The weapon forging is the most confusing and poorest explained system ive ever encountered. Ive just stuck to the weapon with the highest dmg for the entire game, Defender Chainsaws, because they didnt explain how anything works and i dont wanna waste materials. Should I just finish the story using defenders chainsaws, or is it actually worth crafting anything? Im at diabolos right now, and the chainsaws have easily gotten me this far
Lot of times materials aren't told where to be found specifically, so i search it up, and other times rarer materials such as plates or gems are a grind. Defender chainsaws are great for the base game and will speed you through it easily, but once you are in iceborne they won't get you too far as you'll need better sharpness, and higher damage. They're good, but definitely not the highest damage.
hey there!, i only have 17h on the game so i guess i can call myself a new player, i was wondering if i should play the game with a controller since i see everyone use one? And it would make sense since i play all souls games on controller, or should i just stay on kbm since im more comfortable with it? what do you think?
I would recommend you stick with what you're comfortable with and which has easier access to your attacks and items, I personally prefer controller because I've been playing since the psp and 3ds monster hunter games so those controls are more familiar to me. But if you ever decide to switch it up from keyboard to controller I think controller would be fairly easy to learn.
If you're referring to the claw attack that climbs onto the monster with a follow up attack, you can proc the attack after the 2nd roundslash in demon mode with LT/L2 or whatever button it's on. But if you're referring to the attack on titan spinning beyblade all you have to do is dash off a ledge or jump while sliding in demon mode and pray you touch the monster, triggering another attack midair will not do the spin move
This was awesome, but I just wanna give the non meta people some fun skills to use with DB. Like mushroommancer can replace marathon runner if you eat a devils blight its just like a dash juice. You can also use jump master to ensure you slide down the monsters spine like levi from AOT. Get Creative, Dual Blades are so much fun.
i was looking for a summary of the dual blade and familiarize with the weapon from there, this was pretty much what i was looking for and with cool editing and comedy, keep it up!
Two types of buff body, Buff Body and Buff Body + and both you get from two event quests. Regular is more lean muscle that is attainable from fighting the two rajangs. + is pro body builder muscle which you get from fighting two furious rajangs. The layered weapon is furious rajang dual blades that you get with rajang guiding lands parts and furious rajang parts I believe.
I saw a different tutorial and practiced on my own time. I knew the turn slash but don’t think I’ve used enough, But I FOR SURE did not know the claw attack follow up existed and excited to try it.
Okay so that xeno jiva surfing feels so satisfying. I got a question, how do you have your camera fixed on the monster always? I just got a xbox controller but my camera is either on the butt of the monster or somewhere, so my attacks also goes in there and not on the part that I want to attack the most. Also, my hunt time multiplied by 2 compared to when I was using keyboard and mouse 🫠
Once you lock onto the monster I'm pretty sure you should be able to switch body parts, for me my lock on button is the click for right joystick and I just move it left or right to target other body parts. I mostly aim for the head cuz in my opinion it's easier to see the monster

i do like 11-19 dmg and took 40 minute to kill a ebony ododragon in master rank i have bone weapon maybe thats the problem? cuz i don't enjoy the game like this...
Assuming you're using rarity 9+ bone weapon might not the best choice against the ebony odogaron as its a pain the way it constantly hops around like the normal one. Correct me if i'm wrong also but i believe the bone weapon has a locked element blast, so without the free element skill it wouldn't be much use. You could probably do some more damage with a water element weapon, same rarity. If you have extra water attack jewels i'd add it to the weapon is possible
@@theTUBplays i defeated it without a bleed healing item and i got a lot of bleed xD. I want to upgrade it to elemental damage it can be upgraded into ice element if i remember good idk cuz i deleted the game. I have 125 hour in the game only used this weapon the whole base game.
archdemon mode is automatically applied once you fill the demon gauge fully and exit demon mode. Your attacks will lower the gauge which is basically your timer for archdemon
There is definitely a lot more math and equations that goes into the stats and damage calculations, but that is just a dumbed down summarized version of what my point was, but if you feel I missed something lmk
You are here to see a 8 min video and want to learn everything about it lol but this video covered most of the basics for the beginner wanna learn about it but it all comes with practice skill patience
im disappointed you never mentioned divine blessing. It might be the equivalent of using magic in elden ring but DB is seriously goated and carries the entire game for you.
Meh, too much chance based, i'd rather just rock more defence, by that i mean i'd rather be able to tank a hit 100% of the time than have a 25% chance of tanking that hit
sure you can tank a hit, but getting hit by a raging brachy and DB reducing the damage taken, doesnt put you in that much of a bad spot compared to if you wouldnt have DB. Sure you can tank the hit but why not have 1 level of DB and getting the chance of not taking as much dmg as you normally would. In most builds its easy to have DB Lv 1 and makes a difference in hunts imo. @@IIZerothII
I agree, divine blessing is goated. But sometimes you can't fit it into your decoration slots yet. But also you won't need divine blessing if you don't get hit
I wish you'd mentioned that the fast claw attack "Spinning Rising Slash" is an instant tenderizer.
7:30 , when in demon mode and getting roared at your stamina will just decrease since you are still in demon mode but cant move
definitely hate it when that happens
As a fellow ddb main, i can confirm that monsters with ice blight are the worst if they hit you while you have 0 stamina and the best when they hit you when you have full stamina ( ice blight makes stamina regen / usage slower
very true
6:42 that would be Evade Extender.
Evade Window increases the - you guessed it - invulnerability window, or i-frames.
Just started playing monster hunter world for the first time a month ago. Happy to new videos about it. Subscribed!

How does your character look jacked and mine looks skinny?
Buff body armor
As he says, I'm wearing the Buff body layered armor

Just spent like 3 days making a build based on seething bazel b and the kirin chest piece and the bazel weapons… was not as effective as I’d hoped
Anything is possible
I play monster hunter everyday!! HMU whenever you wanna fight fatalis or Safi or Kulve. 👍🏼

Good stuff. Been thinking about getting into DBs and this as sold me.
Bruh i swear on first watch, I wasnt able to focus on the guide. I got caught by the jokes lol
Whats your armor and the dual blade called?
I don't actually remember what armor set I used in these recordings, but I used the buff body layered armor if that's what you're asking

I'm using the Furious Rajang's dual blades

How to demon mode in keyboard?
i actually don't know, but if you have your hud controls on it should tell you, or you can look into the weapon controls
