Legend has it that car is still burning to this day
I find it amazing in these departments who have serious levels of manpower that it seems that one poor firefighter ends up by him/herself on the nozzle having to fight dragging the hoseline by themselves. Even as a captain I would stop and assist a firefighter with dragging needed hoseline.
LAFD responses are notoriously bad CAP....
Seems like they only have one hose as well
Three firefighters not one and others could be inferred by sound and action! Stop being a keyboard idiot!
I agree. He needed help and it was too much fire for one line in operation there.
What A awful job of fire fighting ,
Is there any reason they didn’t have two lines in the rear putting that car Fire out , what was the Company officer doing
I am usually not so critical and I know this might be edited….but why is structure fire still alive Where is help Crazy poor job overall
3:00 glow of magnesium burning?
Let’s see LA has 10000 firefighters…..at least one is working tonight
I like how they get street light to help firefighters see what they are doing in the dark
That was a lot of crap and clutter on that first floor
My God!
If you don't eliminate the heat source, you won't stop extension.
If you don't have the proper Angle of Attack of the burning material, you won't get the water on it.
If you use a straight stream at close distance, you will get a lot of water on a very small area.
You have to walk up to the car, open the nozzle into ma tight cone and put the water on the burning seats and dash. Getting the JOB done eventually, isn't firefighting, it's, Fireplaying!
My God a know it all.

JB91710 is a FDNY reject.
LOL! Yes, JB, because a REAL MANLY MAN FIRE FIGHTER like you - no, wait, a FIRE *WARRIOR* like you - would send all the hoses and personnel to fight the flames and not bother sending any personnel to first check the apartment units that have become involved. That's why you're so well-known as a clown, JB, not as an actual fire fighter.
Where is additional lines. Come on man.
bruh, ma boy be out dere alone squirting some h2o on da fahyer 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Awesome catch!
Looks like a movie prop.
Good access, up close recording. Would never happen around here.
For your comment to have any relevance, we need to know where ‘here’ is.
No it really doesn't matter where here it. The close access would not happen.
@@heli-crewhgs5285 I complimented you and you slam me.
Why are the 2 firefighters not helping?
Wow
Why only one what appears to be an 1 1/2 inch line with one firefighter? Should have been an additional 2 1/2 line with aggressive attack.
I’m pleased to see that LAFD have changed to a more classic design of helmet. The previous issue appeared to be too high and had a slight ‘Keystone Cops’ look to them.
Do Captains still have orange helmets, or have they changed to red?
Captains are red now
Not bad for one guy…where’s help
Good work
well done.....
Excellent video!!
