2:45 Seeing how Rambley interprets what happened here is actually extremely sad. He thinks he did something to help Mollie to bring her back to he knows her to be but it reality, he decapitated her. We don't quite know what's up with the mascots yet but it was likely she's dead, or at least heavily damaged (the mascots may be able to survive without normally essential body parts). Rambley doesn't want to think the he ended up hurting her like he did. He dolled up what happened in his mind to try and make it easier to process, to make feel like he ended up helping her.
I noticed that too and man… poor Rambley dolling a lot of this up to cope with thinking he did help. Even thinking he’s really with us and out of the screen. In reality he’s still behind the screen and just wants people to enjoy the park again after so long in the dark.
I'm still not sure if the mascots are connected to the personalities(/ai's?) that speak for them, or just feral beings with the shape of the mascots. We don't really know enough about what's going on imo.
I feel so bad for the little guy. As far as his viewpoint is concerned, some catastrophic event caused everyone to leave his world and basically trap him in a solitary prison cell for 8 years. When he finally gets out, his entire world has been destroyed and all his friends are either missing or monsters. It actually makes me want to cry. Someone give him a hug. Right now.
My favorite part of the game is how Rambley’s AI artifacting is handled- when he gets really emotional, it peaks, and when he’s being more honest to the Visitor and “off-script,” he sounds less automated. He also moves more smoothly when acting less like an artificial intelligence… although I’m sure that was just for the ease of animation, it’s still cool.
glad I'm not the only one who noticed he moves smoother when going "off-script", but what exactly do you mean by Rambley 'peaking'? Do you mean he glitches out?
I actually think the smoother animation is intentional. Old animation from that era that was meant to be used repeatedly in several places - think PSAs - were animated in that short choppy manner. They basically animated them like how some PNGtubers now animate, where theres really only a handful of still images that it flips between. They did this back then for ease of production and cost. Mass produced animation is *really* hard to do and *very* expensive usually. So seeing versions like that were MUCH more common. It may well be a visual indicator of when Rambley is "off script"; IE he uses the cheap mass produced animation as it was programmed in box for automated things like welcoming guests, but has to use more complex animations for things he's improvising on his own. It makes sense from a computer stand point, too, as it makes sense to de-prioritize things you're going to be saying via a script ad nauseum. Likewise it makes sense to allocate more processing power for things you're adlibbing; the computer has to actually think and not just read pre-programmed files. Sorry not sorry for the text wall.
Everyone's talking about how Rambley surpressed the memories of what happened to Molly, but nobody else notices the detail at 2:08 where you can see the marks from Rambley pressing his fingers against the screen?! The attention to detail in this is amazing, kudos to Inubis!
Well Rambley is definitely suppressing the fact that the park is… yeah. He is in denial anything is wrong with the park. We see him have a bit of a breakdown when he tries to call the repairman before changing the subject, and he admits he knows the park is no longer what it used to be and he has yet to come in terms with that reality. So a breakdown would definitely be viable after seeing all of his “friends” be those horrifying monsters.
My theory(Pretty stupid ik): What if, every animatronic has a digital and physical version of themselves, and once they die irl, the digital version acts like a backup, so maybe Rambley was only saving Mollie by killing her and putting her into the digital world with him?
I was satisfied with the rides. I was satisfied with my guide. I plan to come back. You will see me again. My experience convinced me to tell a friend about you. You have earned my trust 💖
@@Seacat17 or what if the real mascot is the ai and the mascot had a helmet on. and if he takes it off he goes back to mascot form and we can finally hug him
damn literally all my fav animators, musicians, and creators in general are all involved in this in one way or another, be it the actual game or a music video.
I understand what you mean, there is just something so tragic about sentient or near sentient AI that's still running years after it's original purpose and life goals are no longer viable. I'm reminded of a book, (Interzone 2047 I think?) where the main story was a new mistery Ai trying to relate to humanity and a synchronized background story were it's space exploring predecessor sentient AI was so lonely so far from earth that it decides to fracture into multiple personalities to avoid the loneliness.
0:35 has some implications I may be overthinking, I mean, one of the many reasons that Rambley still tries to stay positive is due to the fact that he’s supposed to assist a guest so that they can have the most fun. And if he gets a lot of bad reviews, he might just be replaced by a better AI, the management deeming him not good enough. It also bleeds into the last part where he sounds somewhat desperate for your answers.
Maybe thats what happened to lloid cuz he was implied to be the previous main character but was replaced by Rambley, that could also explain why the two do NOT like each other, would you think to fondly of someone who replaced you?
@@Mr.BonutsAlthough the video isn’t canon to the story itself, the other statue backstage implies that Lloyd was the mascot at some point. Why is it in such pristine condition though?
@@Mr.Bonuts I don't think either of them replaced each other or anything like that, because it's implied that both rambley and Lloyd existed in the classic cartoons, meaning they were created at roughly the same time. My best bet is that it wasn't actually anything to do with popularity, but rather something to do with a story or movie that was then programmed into the AIs. Think like if goofy and mickey became enemies In a Disney cartoon so now all of the animatronics they use are programmed to hate each other. Rambley is an AI and he seems to have been programmed to mimic his cartoon counterpart in terms of personality, so it would make sense that events that happen in the cartoons would be carried into the real world rambley's personality.
*Me fights my way to Rambly's AI core and downloads his entire program* I promise you, Rambly, we will come back to save your friends, but right now, we need to get you out of here first.
I love that rambley thinks that his friends were normal even though they were animalistic. Like how the player said Lloyd scared him and was evil, and rambley thought that Lloyd was normal. And the end is just sad, he represses by thinking that he saved mollie.
The fact that in Rambley's memories he turns Mollie back to normal with magic instead of her actually getting decapitated is equal parts sweet and sad :(
I gotta say RecD, you did amazing on your Lloyd roll, the way your rolled your R's were so incredible to witness, I hope I get to see more of you in future Chapters of Indigo Park
I think this song lends Indigo Park a certain charm that is just that final nudge for 12/10 The game is obviously great but to me, this song is just the cherry on top and my absolute favourite thing about the ambience and it’s not just a great jingle, it’s yea, a showcasing and important aspect of the game’s charm.
Words can't describe how much I wanna hug Rambley and make him feel better after having spent so much time alone stuck at the entrance with nobody to talk to. Hopefully the little guy gets all the friends he could ever hope for in the end
2:53 Rambley says “Until all my old friends”, but it shows Lloyd and Salem, I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t be there if he didn’t consider them his friends, so I think he and the other mascots were forced to put on the personality facades.
2:38 you can see wear it cuts from rambley closing the door, to him putting on his wizard hat. it really shows on how he's trying to replace what he did with old memories of his friend SO SAD POOR RAMBLEY DOESN'T DERSERVE THISSSSSS! 😭😢
@@Norax93 and that’s exactly what they are. *theories.* everyone is entitled to their own opinion, wether you think he’s the villain or just wants to get his friends (and Lloyd) back.
here's what i choose to believe so i'm not sad: the company gave him censored vision as a safeguard so guests didn't traumatize him by showing him horrific things. this could explain why rambley just doesn't address the whole "mollie just got fucking beheaded thing."
I am not a horror game player, but this song and rambley’s little “please?” at the end got me to download chapter 1. Yes I WILL come back for you rambley!!
Imagine each chapter when this song plays, the “please” from Rambley sounds more and more desperate, until the last one where he puts on a smile to say “goodbye”
Man, now I see why he didn’t mention mollie when she died there, basically because he imagined she was ok in his little head, let’s just wait when we have accidentally ended all of them and he realizes… 2:36
It could be that Mollie has a cartoon version of herself like Rambley, who knows, maybe there’s a mascot of Rambley that’s evil, maybe the cartoon characters are good while the real ones aren’t.
Everyone's talking about Rambley, but what I find interesting is how expressive the Anon is. It does make sense that he would at least try to discuss with Rambley how the mascots have gone feral, but for gameplay we've got the silent protagonist. Not saying its a bad choice, but it is interesting.
the way rambley's eyes light up with excitement at the thought of you being his first friend in years and hoping you'll come back, only to shrink back into insecurity a bit in hoping that you feel the same way is the cutest thing and honestly a bit sad. i would die for this boy, he's too precious
Sometimes, trauma is repressed so the conscious mind can cope more seamlessly. From what I can tell, Rambley doesn't want to admit the dark reality of his best friends' demises... especially Molly's.
@@itsCatnap20 he is jealous of Llyod when you show him the Retro Lloyd Plush he says "Ugh... I don't get why we even have those. And why did they only make one of LLOYD? Is it because he's the loudest? I CAN BE LOUD TOO! WHERE'S MY LIMITED-EDITION THROWBACK PLUSH?! WHERE'S MOLLIE'S? WHERE'S FINLEY'S?"
When he says "Till all my old friends are united again", it shows them. Both Finley and Mollie are normal, but Lloyd and Salem have something different. Lloyd has a "..." at the end of his name, showing annoyance towards him. Salem has a "?" at the end, which could be showing confusion or something unknown towards Salem. I didn't see anyone else talk about this.
maybe there was a question mark next to Salem because Rambley didn’t know if he considered her as a friend but included her anyways? I don’t know thats just my take
I didn’t know what you were talking about until I slowed it down you were talking about The names but now I see it too. I think it’s because in the real game there’s a mini game inside of it. I don’t really know what to call it and Salem turns Mollie evil I think that’s why there’s a ?
To me the most interesting line of dialog is at the end: "'Til all my old friends are united again! And I won’t feel so left behind..." How was he left behind? Was originally there an AI for each of the mascots but when they made the real ones they were shut down? I notice Rambley seems to see the Mollie in the airplane as the real one and ignore the monster one. And in the Rambley video game, there's a second Mollie in a cage you can find despite her being with Salem at the time. The same kinda happens with Llyod and him having a different image that the monster. And Rambley doesn't say anything to the real world Mollie, when you'd think he'd try to reason with her or something. So maybe there is a second AI version of each one and those are the ones Rambley remembers and he wants back and he thinks taking out the real world Mollie will somehow restore the one he knows, hence his version of what happened.
regarding the caged mollie: sometimes, mollie says "Get back in your cage, bird." when you die. the death screen also says she repeats what she's heard. personally, my guess is that mollie was caged and mistreated ("Get up, you stupid freak." also being a line), and maybe that's why it was put into the game? though it's not like it wouldn't be an unknown fact because she was definitely public at some point (lines such as "I wanna play with the birdie!" and "You'd make a great pilot!"), so unless she was free by day and caged by night, i dunno what the creator of the game meant by including that in it
1:21 i love this drawing in particular because you can clearly imagine the conversation happening XD “RAMBLEY? MOLLIE’S RIGHT THERE-“ “that’s right, buddy! that IS mollie up there! :D” “THATS NOT WHAT I-“
1. Were satisfied with the rides? yes 2. Were you satisfied with your guide? YES!!!!+ (Hes such a chill dude. Id pay money to just hang with him) 3. Do you plan to come back? Yes I will. 4. Will I see you again? Yes you will 5. Did your experience convince you to tell a friend about us?. Yes it has 6. Did I earn your trust. Yes you have :) I loved this game.
1. Were satisfied with the rides? Well I mean it's supposed to be a children's theme park, but for what it is, there's a lot of personality. I'd say I did. 2. Were you satisfied with your guide? if anything happens to Rambley I will kill everyone on this planet and then myself because Rambley is precious 3. Do you plan to come back? Y'all teased a part 2, of COURSE we'll still exist. 4. Will I see you again? There's a reason I keep playng your review song. 5. Did your experience convince you to tell a friend about us?. I was told BY a friend about you, so I oughta pay it forward. 6. Did I earn your trust. Hey, as long as YOU'RE not trying to off me behind my back, I'd rather trust you than anything else.
Me at the beginning of the game: "Oh god here we go again another goddamn mascot horror game." Me at the end of the first chapter: "I have had Rambly My Ray of Sunshine Raccoon for about two hours and if anything happened to him I would burn down this entire park and then myself." Did this song double that? Yes, yes it did.
I wouldn't abandon rambley I'd literally download is consciousness and everything that he is connected to and basically put it on my home computer's as my own buddy to talk to and so we'll both never be lonely again 😌 but also... I'd keep him out of my 'personal' computer and i think we all know why we don't need Rambley seeing our search history- 👁️👁️
@@MasterofJuKBWaaSI'm saying the same thing!! He's absolutely adorable ngl i want to force myself into that computer and literally cuddle the hell out of him
Rambley: Hey buddy, I went through your search history, and I see that you really like birds! Especially boobles! You know, my friend Mollie’s a bird too! In fact, she’s a parrot! Though, I think you already knew that… Me, knowing damn well that I wasn’t looking at birds: *sweats nervously*
Wait, wait... the oddly-specific, repeating dances of the mini-Rambleys at 0:54 can only be... the hampster dance?! I don't know if I'm more shocked that a late 90's meme was referenced in 2024, or that I was somehow able to unlock the childhood memory to recognize it.
Today I have been working on a project for a couple months that will help my family to make sure they are happy with the way I have done it so that they are happy and I eyeing up the future
Absolutely insanely amazing song! So much respect for you making this and so much respect for the game devs for making the game! Love your guys’s work!
I still theorize that something is darker about Rambley, like the form we see is just a fragment that later on will reveal he was the cause of Indigo Park's fall. But I also hope he isn't evil, and continues to be a good character.
2:29 i love how imagining lloyd as different things (one as a scary monster and one as normal) and they think the visitors would have the same reaction (or at least rambley would)
Rambley is a lonely character done right, they actually made him a character that deserves sympathy, which is something a lot of media doesn't do. He's not annoying, he's just a little guy who was left on his own and is happy to finally have someone to talk to.
Now wait just a damn minute. I don’t remember Rambley doing some Harry Potter shit and turning the bird chill. She got decapitated French Guillotine style.
At first, it's nice that Rambley interprets him helping us as if he's actually there with us, even though he's really behind the screens the whole time. And at 2:31, when "Ed" describes Lloyd as a hungry man-eating lion, Rambley interprets that as saying Lloyd's over the top showmanship is what scared "Ed." (Seriously, that raccoon and lion have some issues. And at 2:37 - 2:52, when Ed gets chased by Mollie Macaw (feral), and Rambley "saved" us, by turning her back to normal. (Her cartoon self) But..we already know the real story to that. And it's disheartening to see how Rambley interprets it a different way to cope with the reality that he had killed Mollie to save Ed. Maybe he only meant to shut the door to keep Mollie out. Never to kill her. But...because of bad timing, it never came to be. 2:54 "Til all my old friends are united again." So...even though he's bitter towards Lloyd, Rambley still considers him a friend? Even Salem Skunk? And again, a tearjerker, for him to include Mollie. But, maybe he means "in spirit," in some ways. But at the end of the song, all Rambley ever wants is not to be alone anymore. Poor guy.
You know what, theory time: Salem is an AI like Rambley and since they're supposed to be "the bad one" they're corrupting the other mascots I mean, other than the fact that their section of Rambley's Railroad is so abysmally destroyed that even Rambley starts glitching out, there's a whole minigame basically screaming it in your face-
Yo, you have a point there. I don't know if Salem is AI or not, but I have a feeling that's he can be an antagonist. Plus, yeah, his section is a mess (there's even blood on the floor). That minigame, yeah, using smokescreen and poison to make Mollie suffer - there's something about it. This line in dialogue "I wonder what she REALLY thinks of you now?" Can't say for sure, for now at least, but there's something in this, that make me think - does everything's really fine in Rambley's gang was or not.
I think it's a bit too simple and obvious. I think it's more of a red herring. I feel it's more likely the fault of the the people who managed the park, it's hinted that at least Mollie was abused.
Happy birthday RecD! I loved Indigo Park I know it's a bit early to talk about Indigo Park chapter 2. But I cannot wait it's gonna be amazing hope everything goes well! With your birthday and the process on the game!
Hopefully we can repair the bots, since we're going to have to at least immobilize them to de-curse-posessify them... And Rambley is meant to deal with kids. He's childlike, and hurting Mollie, even if it's not the "real" Mollie, is probably more than a little critter like Rambley needs to handle. He is my new hyperfixation and I need several plush versions. Thanks for your work, voice, and music, RecD! And happy birthday! You're supposed to GET gifts, not give them out!
@@MinerMario Yeah... I get the distressing feeling that somewhere (perhaps behind the 'senior staff only' door he snaps shut in your face?) is some kind of Jurassic Park-style biology lab producing weird hybrid critters attempting to match the 'canonical' appearance of the characters as closely as possible and condition them to perform (apparently not well enough for that conditioning to survive 8 years of unmaintained inactivity, at least, though they do seem to still have preferences for their assigned 'territory'). It's notable that, aside from the weird 'inverse' eyes (which might be cybernetic? I couldn't tell. They seem to have glowing 'pupils' and have bloodstains around them in both examples we've seen, and Mollie drips blood from her vague face area in one scene, though it could be meant as blood from her beak which is explainable by hunting) they look like... they might be living beings, and the resemblance to the cartoon versions is clear, but also clearly imperfect! (note the compromises surrounding the impracticality of Mollie's 'wing hands' leading to a redesign of her arms that out-of-narrative is more frightening, but also works physically outside a cartoon way better than the original design, and doesn't even fit the feather pattern of the cartoon version well; as well as how Lloyd seems to have lost multiple degrees of anthropomorphism in the transition -- I wonder if, being some kind of 'original' mascot of the company before modern redesigns and reduced relevance, he originally had a more 'MGM Lion'-like realistic design and the engineers making the monster versions were forced to compromise where normally cartoon proportions-cheating would allow Lloyd to hit both 'old' routines of his assuming a quadrupedal lion as well as more humanlike movements) They seem pained/threatened/distressed by the handshake between the bracelet and scanners (Lloyd stunned and scared off with some apparent headache by the scan close up, Mollie switching from passive stalking to direct attack when one is scanned deep inside her 'territory'), which implies they may have been fitted with some kind of radio or sonic killswitch/geofencing/etc. that suffers crosstalk with the Critter Cuff system. Whatever it is, Rambley doesn't seem to (knowingly) have access to it. It's possible that was reserved for specialized human handlers. Regardless of how smart the biological versions are or aren't, I wouldn't think it's a good idea to have large, experimental, probably pretty badly abused animals interacting with guests in an environment where those people regularly do things that annoy the creatures and remind them of their greatest fears (I've heard bad things about dogs with shock collars spontaneously attributing the cause of their pain to something or somebody else around them, rightly or wrongly, and 'retaliating' against the perceived threat in a berserk fury), so I could totally believe the place closed suddenly when during beta testing or official premiere of the mascots (or sometime afterwards? What's the Mollie meet-and-greet mentioned in the collectible descriptions?), a guest scanned a bracelet too close to one of the things and it freaked out; whether someone got hurt or it was just a near miss. Still, if the tech required to produce those things existed, you'd think it would be pretty world-changing even if the original project was an embarrassing, lawsuit-and-fines-baiting failure. ("Abandon Disneyland" as part of the cover-up seems a pretty big sacrifice alone, even ignoring the R&D stuff.) Corporations don't turn down huge amounts of free money they already sacrificed a lot for, they'd have found some less-ambitious uses for the tech involved, or sold it to someone who would use it. And even if they didn't, the same people who did it the first time would probably do parts of it again with their next employers, or other people with the same inspirations would try similar things at around the same time. Of course, the setting is vague enough that it's not out of the question that such things DID happen in the background and merely aren't super relevant to the limited part of the protagonist's life we're privy to. What does an urban explorer care about big but fairly abstract medical and genetic advancements that came out a few years ago? So, some Saudi oil barons or whatever are getting cats in unnatural colours, or some scientists made the news demonstrating giving chickens their raptor claws back to a resounding "maybe don't!" from the public, or whatever, and more conservative folks are footnotes in the papers protesting something or other about hybrid research every few years; it's not something we'd really know about as players... The advancements in AI tech might be similarly old-hat, from the sounds of it Rambley was operational and entertaining guests for at least a while before the park closed. I wonder if Rambley saw taking out the Mollie after you as removing only a corrupted _part_ of Mollie, restoring her to proper functioning (implying he expects it to be REPLACED with a hopefully-better-trained one, whether or not that's still viable post-abandonment)?
@@05Matz Also, as implied by the Mollie Mascot's voice lines during the chase, *these things WERE in the park while guests were around*, as two of them were "Mommy I wanna play with the birdie!" and "Son, get away from that thing." showing that guests, and kids were interacting with them.
When I played the game, I used to just laugh because of the cute character and the voice, but I shed a few tears watching this music video that depicts Rambley’s inner thoughts. He was alone and lonely for 8 years, and seeing him get excited to guide a guest (a trespasser) after so long was cute, but every time the lyrics expressed his loneliness and fear of parting again, I teared up. The part at the end where he’s depicted as using his magic to bring the insane Mollie back to her senses makes it seem like he’s so lonely and desperate that he’s lost the ability to distinguish reality, and it just makes him pitiable. Poor buddy. So please, don’t put a twist at the end saying that Rambley is actually the mastermind behind all the evil deeds.
2:04 generally when he says that he hopes were his friend actually made me tear up in a long while because generally i dont get too attached to a character so quickly but theres something about rambley that touches my heart.. (i dont comment often either but generally i had to say something)
The ending theme is SO good, it's been stuck in my head since I heard it and it's a rare one where I'm glad it is because it's keeping my spirits up dealing with the real life horrors. This music video is so sweet and well done, I love the Rambley POV. 💜
It's not very often I leave comments but genuinely I adore this song. I really don't know how to explain it but with every "-ark" word followed with the bassy melody that plays after is just something I can just feel. The like punchy way the word is said and then soothed with that bassy bit is one of my favorites. I'm also digging Rambley's character and it makes me sad for him when he talks about bein alone and stuff. In a way i can relate but i'll leave that there. Anyway I really love the song, thank you! ^_^
I love how the art Ed as a gray dude since we don’t know what he looks like while rambley just leads him along into the theme park, makes me like rambley more since it shows he’s somewhat oblivious to what’s happening to mollie and… lloyd.
Really hoping that they don’t go for the generic twist of the helpful guide actually being evil the whole time. I think the fact that Rambley is so plucky and positive to the point of extreme naivety actually makes for more unique character development the more he has to come to terms with the horrors happening in the park. Even if he ends up betraying Ed out of desperation or loneliness here’s hoping there is a way that both Ed and Rambley can end their stories with as little tragedy as possible, neither of them deserve it with one having been alone for 8 years and the other having possibly lost his mom. Great song btw! Always awesome to see such heart and genuine creativity put into these indie projects, especially when the market is saturated with either soulless copycats or “AAAA” garbage.
It’s kinda sad when you realize that part with mollie chasing the player. Rambley is trying to cope with killing his best friend, that’s why he pulls some wizardry out his pockets.
This song brings tears to my eyes for no reason. I'm Japanese. I cry even though I don't understand the meaning of the lyrics. I fell for the magic of this song.

You don't know the pain you caused my heart to see Rambley 'saving Mollie' in the retelling of the games ending when in reality.. well..

Rambley, someday, is gonna snap and have a mental breakdown/panic attack
That would not be surprising @@skinnerartstudios
@@skinnerartstudios I really do have a feeling that rambley could breakdown

Omg I love your smiling critters animations!
I haven't felt this melancholic feeling since Portal 2, I think I'm getting obsessed with stories about a lonely AI.
The true sentient being is something that doesn't yet exist but something we could empathize...
You should definitely play Doki Doki Literature Club! then...
I'm so glad people are getting Portal 2 vibes with the chapter 1 ending song
Shoutout to AIs with BPD, gotta be one of my favorite genders
0:35 has some implications I may be overthinking, I mean, one of the many reasons that Rambley still tries to stay positive is due to the fact that he’s supposed to assist a guest so that they can have the most fun. And if he gets a lot of bad reviews, he might just be replaced by a better AI, the management deeming him not good enough.
It also bleeds into the last part where he sounds somewhat desperate for your answers.
Yeah, that’s what I thought :D but in FACT, *R A M B L E Y C A N N E V E R B E R E P L A C E D*
I'm pretty sure the implications are just about the game like they need to get our support so rambly and his game continue to exist.

To me the most interesting line of dialog is at the end:
"'Til all my old friends are united again!
And I won’t feel so left behind..."
How was he left behind?

Agree
2:54 "Til all my old friends are united again."
So...even though he's bitter towards Lloyd, Rambley still considers him a friend? Even Salem Skunk? And again, a tearjerker, for him to include Mollie. But, maybe he means "in spirit," in some ways.
But at the end of the song, all Rambley ever wants is not to be alone anymore. Poor guy.

You know what, theory time: Salem is an AI like Rambley and since they're supposed to be "the bad one" they're corrupting the other mascots
I mean, other than the fact that their section of Rambley's Railroad is so abysmally destroyed that even Rambley starts glitching out, there's a whole minigame basically screaming it in your face-
Yo, you have a point there.
I don't know if Salem is AI or not, but I have a feeling that's he can be an antagonist.
Plus, yeah, his section is a mess (there's even blood on the floor).
That minigame, yeah, using smokescreen and poison to make Mollie suffer - there's something about it. This line in dialogue "I wonder what she REALLY thinks of you now?"
Can't say for sure, for now at least, but there's something in this, that make me think - does everything's really fine in Rambley's gang was or not.
@@haneoma the skunk is an enby

I think it's a bit too simple and obvious. I think it's more of a red herring. I feel it's more likely the fault of the the people who managed the park, it's hinted that at least Mollie was abused.

These aren't bots. Molly literally bleeds and looks really fleshy in the wound.
(note the compromises surrounding the impracticality of Mollie's 'wing hands' leading to a redesign of her arms that out-of-narrative is more frightening, but also works physically outside a cartoon way better than the original design, and doesn't even fit the feather pattern of the cartoon version well; as well as how Lloyd seems to have lost multiple degrees of anthropomorphism in the transition -- I wonder if, being some kind of 'original' mascot of the company before modern redesigns and reduced relevance, he originally had a more 'MGM Lion'-like realistic design and the engineers making the monster versions were forced to compromise where normally cartoon proportions-cheating would allow Lloyd to hit both 'old' routines of his assuming a quadrupedal lion as well as more humanlike movements)
They seem pained/threatened/distressed by the handshake between the bracelet and scanners (Lloyd stunned and scared off with some apparent headache by the scan close up, Mollie switching from passive stalking to direct attack when one is scanned deep inside her 'territory'), which implies they may have been fitted with some kind of radio or sonic killswitch/geofencing/etc. that suffers crosstalk with the Critter Cuff system.
Did you purchase in the Kickstarter?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about how this park may've been operating -- they were really interesting to read!
I agree I hope he is not evil
"Did I earn your trust?" Sounds like he's gonna backstab the player becoming a villian.
Yeah... It makes me live for one more day...
This just makes me want chapter 2 as soon as possible.

Yep
This song brings tears to my eyes for no reason. I'm Japanese. I cry even though I don't understand the meaning of the lyrics. I fell for the magic of this song.
"at indigo park, my credit card got DECLIIINED I'M LOSING MY MIIIIIIIIND"
