Hello. It’s always good to have a gentle blow of air to have adequate isolation and visibility. By no means do we ever have to dessicate the tooth though !

Is this bleaching effective for intrinsic stains such as tetracycline staining?
nope,For that you would do internal bleaching such as walking bleaching technique
This bleaching technique uses free radicals to remove stains. But in tetracycline stains, the stains are harder to remove, so have to use higer concentration of bleaching agent and more times to achieve than in a regular person.

Hi . The post bleaching polishing just helps you remove any remaining bleach or debris left behind and also helps rehydrate the teeth which were isolated. Its not a painful process though

You can use any polishing paste easily available
For how many days it work??. Is there any adverse effect on enamel layer. How many times bleaching can be done??
sensitivity around 48 hr. after bleaching
As shown, are 2 applications required for every shade advancement?
Depends from case to case … usually 2 cycles give best results

The mixed material must be used with 2 weeks from mixing.. basically, use it as a single use only!

Post op instructions will invariably include avoiding pigmented foods/drinks and use of sensitivity toothpastes if at all required

Hello. Certain bleaching kits do come with the dam. Ultradent doesnt provide it though, has to be procured seperately

Hi, the process remains the same with very slight variations as per the material. However, will try to cover this if possible on a separate video

Hi. Depends on the number of applications you need. Usually after mixing the contents you need to use it immediately

It can be reused but as per manufacturer's instructions, within 10 days..

after placement of whitening gel is there a need to use a curing light?
HI.. In this case , we are using a chemically activated bleach so its not needed. Its also fair to say that the light "accelerates" the bleaching process and can be used only if indicated(depends on material used for bleaching)
How many hours it takes to white
Very informative Sir , But.. why do all this when a product like Davinci The Hollywood White is available in market . It's much easier , even a trained staff can do it with least post bleaching sensitivity.

Hello..the standard instruction is to avoid for a week. However, highly pigmented elements like turmeric and coffee/tea do tend to eventually discolour the teeth again. This is something we can manage with patient counselling by informing them about the likelyhood of discolouration.

Hi. Opalescence Boost is a chemically activated bleach. No light is required for this

Sensitivity for the first couple days. Also gum irritation may occur if the chemical touches the gum.

You usually get a gingival dam or a barrier with bleaching systems, these are essentially light cure resins which help seal the gingiva and protect from irritation
