He did a wonderful job as Koskela Brothers. Those commercials were one of my favorite things in the game. He has a great voice btw.

I first recognized Peter Franzen playing "Harald Finehair" in "Vikings". He really stood out there for me. I was impressed seeing him playing theese sometimes funny, but also weird brothers in AW2.
I hope, he will be recognized globally, because he is quite a charismatic guy.
His role in a finnish movie "leijonasydän" or in english "heart of a lion" is his careers best role. I remember back in the day when i saw it it made me a instant fan of Peter.

Remedy is really good with making characters played by the same person so different it’s hard to tell they’re the same actor. Love that!

Peter was such a great addition to the Alan Wake world. Would love to see him again in the next games!
Knowing how remedy has a tendency to keep voice actors around... (Like seriously, they had James McCaffrey, Alan's actor, jack Joyce's actor etc all show up here like Sam lake was collecting them like Pokémon), I'm sure he would show up again and I hope he does!
I'm pretty sure there was an interview of them all in the same room, think it was at comic con, when he (Sam Lake) was asked he kinda just said something along the lines of keeping them around
The way he delivered those dad jokes in the commercials was just fantastic. His acting elevated the authenticity of the entire game, made it feel more immersive. Great job!
I loved the clips of the actor cracking up while filming the Koskela advertisements in the Valentine's Day video. They were so funny, and looked so much fun to film, I'm glad the actor indeed had fun! "Screw the government, we have boltcutters" is one of my favourite lines in the game hahaha.
Can we please have more of these interviews? That was great, I didn't realise he played both parts. I loved Jaakko.

The Koskela brothers are two of my favorite characters in the game. The commercials were hilarious.

I had the priviledge of working with Peter on a TV show and whereas I didn't converse with him heaps, he was always super polite and lovely.

These guys and their in-world ads were one of my favorite parts of the game. They were very well-acted, and a lot of simple humor.
he did a phenomenal job as them. a fantastic addage to the game series. Hope we get to see more of Ilmo! He did a good job as Harald Hårfagre, or Harold Finehair in english i guess in vikings :)

Acting game so strong that I didn't know he played both brothers right away but his voice is so nice. Like damn.

Yeah, never realized it was the same actor. That's a true testament to his abilities and skills as an actor. Loved both the brothers in game!
Yeah same. Funny enough, I actually noticed it’s easier for actors with very deep voices to play multiple characters and I think the reason for that is because most people don’t know what it’s like to have such a deep voice and the voice control something like that brings.
You don’t ever think that of someone with a higher pitched voice since the average person knows how that works. I’m definitely thinking about Yuri Lowenthal when saying this. Every time I hear his voice in something, I just know it’s him without a doubt even if he sometimes does different voices and accents. There’s just something about very deep voices that makes them unique. Hard not to be jealous lol
today i reached the part where "HERALD OF DARKNESS" song plays and that song filled me with hype so much. Half way through this game and i can understand why this game is psychological horror, story writing of remedy is on the point and creative director Sam Lake had done great work (as he is my fav childhood actor)
Ilmo and Yako are simply heroes of Bright Falls and Wattery. I adore these guys.
Alan Wake 2 is such an amazing game in so many ways, but Koskela brothers were one of the highlights for me. Peter did such an incredible work with the characters, that they became instant legends in the Remedyverse. I really hope Remedy finds a way to bring these characters back somehow in their future projects. If nothing else, at least a small easter egg somewhere for the fans !
I think it's a testament to the quality of his work that a lot of us never realized it was the same actor playing them both. Loved these characters and, after 13 years waiting, every minute of this game feels like a gift.

He was great in Alan Wake II. I almost wish they had more commercials or a web series type tie-in.

At least I'm not the only person who failed to twig they were the same guy. That makes me feel a tiny bit better and I choose to think of it as evidence that he did a fantastic job. As did whoever made the beard decision :D

In the game, it is impossible to pass by the TV with the Koskela brothers commercial, even if you have seen it several times. I always stopped and watched it to the end. It's a big part of the game's atmosphere. Very cool done! 🤘😵💫
I really loved this, wonderful insight, and super succinct! Was such a joy watching the commercials and interacting with these characters, and that singular moment towards the end was super heartfelt. I believe Jaakko taught me the words "Finnish Sisu" which lead me down a rabbit hole I loved exploring in my own time

As someone who comes from an incredibly small town that celebrates moose fest (but is Swedish) the cultural talking point is true seeing it in my area and seeing it in game feels very familiar

I honestly wouldn't mind if this guy does the voice for Max Payne in these upcoming remakes for Max Payne 1 and 2 . This guy is really talented and it would be a shame if he only gets to act in Alan Wake 2 .
Professional actor in many Finnish movies… so yeah… a real pro! Same as the actor of Ahti and some other characters in this game!
I hope he will be the face of Max Payne in Remake, he has look and voice for that character and already worked for Remedy.. I know he isnt exactly Sam Lake or James McCaffrey but still, that would be my choice

I wasnt aware the King of Norway was in this.
I only realized they were not IRL twins because Jakko's beard looked weird so when I looked closer to confirm it was fake I realized they were the same guy. He did so well with their personalities that even when the voice is the same it's like 2 different people. I also like how this contrasts Alan and Casey having 2 actors for 1 character while this is 1 actor for 2 characters.
Also loved the shout out to Puerto Rican coffee! 😁
