The average guy isn’t getting any sex or companionship nonetheless. When men say they're single, they mean it. A lot of women say they haven't had a boyfriend in two years but what they don't admit to is that as they have their monthly mental meltdown, they hit the dating apps for some quick companionship. Men don't have that luxury. When men say they are single they're mostly alone. Women don't have a clue the lonliness the average male goes through in life.
Hell, i haven't even gotten to first base in 8 years, and that was a gold digging one night stand... I'm crushingly lonely, and it's impossible to find anyone decent. At my age it's just broken and crazy

As a bachelor, single means SINGLE....no dating relationships/short term flings with anyone. My last dating relationship ended 10 years ago and I was completely SINGLE as I had to concentrate on the family responsibilities of being a caregiver to my elderly parents until their deaths, with my mother's death being only a year and a half ago. Had no time for a relationship....and wouldn't want to enter this insane dating scene anyway. Dodged many bullets in the process.

Had this happen to me recently, someone I work with tried to set me up with her flatmate telling me she's just my type and I asked "and she's really single?" to which she told me she's just dating 5-6 guys. How far has our society fallen that dating 5 guys at once is considered single?
it´s considered single since you´re not committed. you´d probably do the same if you could. I know I would. you don´t have to hook up with her if you´re not into that but not everything you dislike is stooping low. @@TheAshube9exactly. Insecurity masquerading as morality. I had a conversation about this with my current girlfriend. Neither of us dated anyone else while dating each other for only 1 reason. She told me she wasn’t seeing anyone else but wouldn’t be offended if i was. I said I don’t have the time or energy for multiple people at once. She said that’s exactly why she’s not dating anyone else. She told me she think that would probably be a smarter way to date, you shouldn’t feel committed and get so attached to every person you date, before you even know if they have any of the qualities of whatever it is you’re looking for. I have a friend that’s been in a committed relationship for several years, I know early on they were both dating and sleeping with multiple people. They were always honest with each other about that.
When you’re dating, you’re dating. Seeing what’s out there, finding what you like. You don’t owe anyone anything just because you’ve been on a few dates. Commitment should be something you talk about, not something expected because your insecurities couldn’t handle it otherwise.

Last year, I went on a date with a cute woman who were 36 years old, single mother of a 17 daugther. She was 20mn late... she told me in the very 1st 15mn of the date "I'm not looking for something serious, I have several casual sexual partners "... we had a great time during diner ingl... she told me I was the only person who somehow made her want change her way and maybe commit. I’m 29 and a male. I’ve noticed women 30+ hit a wall and start making men “work for it” when every guy before that hit after night one. Like nah girl, you don’t get to magically have standards after being ran through.

Truth
When a girl says she is single it just means she does not have a "serious" relationship going on at the time. It does not mean she is not sleeping around with guys that she is less serious about. There is no such thing as a woman who is "single' anymore.

It's not just younger women who act this way either. I'm in my 50s, and had a former "friend" tell me she does this, and when I told her...that's nasty...she quit talking to me. I've kept myself clean by not sleeping around, and am healthier, all around, especially emotionally. Sex is a bond. You're literally joining with someone at the root chakra, with their entire being. That's not something to take lightly. Plus, sex clouds your discernment regarding your partners character.

At the age of 60 Ive found one thing to be an absolute truth - Never ever believe a word a woman says about her ex's, who and how many she's been with. Ever! And! What she's said about the ex's she will say about you if not a whole lot worse should it suit her at any point in the future.
I've heard the word "exclusive" is being used now to justify cheating or bouncing between partners. Meaning if you're dating but not exclusive then you are not committing to a person. Cultural rot doesn't begin to describe the current dating scene.
I cannot express the amount of disgust when I was in a room with women and they tried to explain the concept of "exclusivity" when dating to explain to me why I shouldn't be disgusted when one of them talked about cheating on someone they were dating with. "He never brought up exclusivity!" Even the older women tried to tell me it was always like that and its always been an expected and well known thing. There was a study done recently, talking to 10k women about their sexual habits and so on (I tried posting a link here, but this, like a lot of YT channels will delete posts with links in), and one of the most interesting things it showed was that the number women who had slept with 10+ men would claim, when asked about body count, was 4. Thousands and thousands of women, all of whom didn't know each other and such, all claiming to have slept with 4 guys, if their real number was 10 or higher. Women who had slept with less than 10 almost invariably just said their real number.
