As a Venezuelan I can't thank you enough for addressing our horrible situation, I live in Europe. Like the 5 million Venezuelans that have fled the country we come across lots of people who are clueless about our situation and prefer to defend a tyrannous dictator committing genocide against his own people just because he's left wing. Most of the news from Latin America that come to Europe do so through Spain because of the language barrier. And unfortunately, all the oil money is used by the Venezuelan regime to buy press and media and silence the news in Spain. Google this because Venezuelan relatives to politicians have become incredibly wealthy and have bought most of the stocks for mayor TV stations, Press and even found political parties like Podemos. We face an international media blackout and very little information makes it to the surface. Hint: India’s population is 1,36 billion ppl, while Australia's only 25 millions... so the animal induced death rate in Australia is much higher than India's if you consider the number of deaths in India in the observed period were “only” 15 times higher but a with a population 51 times bigger than Australia is. Of course, this doesn’t consider the ability of the two countries to report and count this kind of deaths, after all it's easier to get eaten by a tiger in the jungle in India and disappear. But, still, those are the numbers we need to deal with. 😉

Eh, it's not as bad as he makes it sound - I mean India does have more than 40 times as many people living in a country less than half the size of Australia. I am sure if Australia was half as big, and had over a billion people living there the death rate would be comparable.
@@StreakyBaconMan That's actually an argument for the contrary. The more population density a country has the less its fauna is a danger to its people. Why? Because civilization destroys habitats and protects us from the wild world. Living on the 10th floor in an apartment is a damn good way of not dying from flying snakes or elephants, don't you think? Even while being in the wild, Indians are better protected than Australians because they're usually not alone, they go in groups of 10 or more.

We face an international media blackout and very little information makes it to the surface. much like he said, el salvador is a dangerous place. I have some family here in the united states that have fled el Salvador. Her son was kidnapped by a gang and her daughter received death letters at school. my aunt woke up to body parts laying in her yard and letters saying "we have your son". my aunt and her daughter are now in America, but have been rejected asylum due to a lack of physical proof (even though they have the letters and pictures of the body parts). please pray for them as my aunt mourns the lost of her son and their safety if they get sent back to el Salvador.

Raw numbers alone, India takes the crown, but by ratio, Australia overcomes India.

@@canooples5134
It is so in almost all areas that only certain areas are bad.
You can avoid a lot by choosing who you hang out with and at what times you are where.
Read that in Bogotar 95% of the murders take place at 2% of the city's addresses.
I live in Sweden and here the gang murders have increased a lot (still at a low level compared to North and South America. But I am not afraid even though it happens during the day on the open street, because they only murder each other and in certain areas.
i went in december i always visit el salvador things have become calmer there, theres more police and security in areas after the new president things have gotten better as for disappearances i would argue that people leaving the country to try to go to the us as something that accounts for that statistic
