I hear other reviewers say it has no GPS Nav which confuses me, doesn't Google maps in the head unit have GPS Nav, because all other Google maps have it, and it works perfectly fine and it's free no extra cost.
We are looking for a second car to replace another, looks like we have found it. It looks great.. nice set of 17” wheels and it would look even better.
Re Picanto. At 4.45. "You wouldn't go over to Ikea in this car." Guys. We've gone there in our [second car] the Hyundai Getz on a number of occasions. Seats fully down, we even got our Library shelves in! So, go Picanto!
OK I have owned the kia picanto gt for just over 12 months and its quick and cheap for the class but there has been some warranty issues. The a/c has stopped cooling twice, the car some times wont accurate i have to take my foot of the pedal and then it will accurate, I have had all the yellow aeb and abs lights come on and the brake lights stay on I have to put my foot under the pedal and bring it forward to turn them off. Other then that its a great car what can you expect for the car its cheap and fast I am sort of happy with the car. The car has done 11000km's.
As I've said before, this Kia Picanto is as close as anyone to an Hyundai Getz replacement as anyone has ever achieved. They still are everywhere proving the corporate reliability! Makes me wonder why Hyundai don't market the i10 in Aussie! There's a You Tube video where the man with the mike at the wharf actually says, "They sell as them as quickly as they can get them off the ships." To me, it's 'a no brainer'!
Could you please do a review on the new Kia Rio Gt-line And see if you prefer that or the Mazda 2 or 3 that you have already viewed thank you Having troubles deciding what I should purchase
Hi Sarah Jane - thanks for your comment and we'll see what we can do for you with reviewing the Rio GT-Line! I have to say though Mazdas are fun to drive and present really well, but the KIA's are great value for money with alot of features and low running costs. Lol! Sorry, doesn't help hey? :) Thanks for watching!
No such car, Turbo is the 3 cyl 1.0l, 1.2l Kappa is weaker and no turbo, obviously. But yeah would be very cool if they did turbo a 1.2l 4 cyl + no limitations like on 3 cyl 1.0l turbo (same as in for ex Rio 120HP only limited) 150HP + 250NM is still no rocket at 1.1 ton but it is GTI like territory, or close enough
As an owner of X Line 1.2 lt 5MT, I disagree with your opinion. The X Line delivers what is promised and it's impressive how adaptive and fun driving is. Also for that price tag, they're worth every penny. Of course, the price is location-dependant, so I don't know how much it costs in your area.
The Picanto is a very little 'tiny' city car, especially good for city lanes & shopping malls. It's in effect, a replacement for the Hyundai Getz. The Mazda 3 is a real 'C; (two sizes up) series & thus a full size 'small car', not too far off the medium category. The logical 'C' size competition from say Kia, is the Cerato range. The Mazda 2 is in the light car range a full size up from Kia's equivalent the Rio yet one size down from the Mazda 3 or Kia Cerato.
Best NORMAL down to earth review from the whole web! Thank you! We bought one! We are picking it up next week...;))))
I genuinely love this car, I'm looking to buy my first car very soon and I think this will be it.

Time to do the MG SUV
Kia picanto 1.2 turbocharger,..is a good deals I think.

The GT line and the X Line are not serious cars. The 3 is the best spec and best looking in automatic.
