This is one of the best Malaysian reviews for me. Jonathan does a great job to describe the car in a simple manner. The sentences are short and informative, yet he doesn't simply say everything on the brochure. I thought a simple review in Malaysia is too good to be true. Good for you, man. On a second note, the camera should help you out a little bit. Like the part you put your bag in the trunk, the viewers should be able to see inside the trunk too. That's just my two cents. Cheers
I remember when this guy reviewed the Mazda 3 back in 2017 and he received alot of backlash due to the lack of fluidity during his review. They were saying that he doesn't speak English well nor does he articulate well enough. Well, he has definitely come a long way from then. I see alot of improvement along with seamless cohesiveness in this review. Well done my friend. Well done.
JA EX owner here. 1 year. loving it so much. i told myself to get a car max 50k ( smaller is better ). KL traffic is becoming much more horrible, so i guess Axia's size would be the best. then when i test drove it, I knew it has every little thing that counts for me personally. good inforainment system, excellent handling, "big car feeling" thanks to good build quality, mature looking interior like expensive car. the cons, a little small if planning to produce football team children. em, best for minimalist lifestyle ( which what I'm practicing ). if space is a concern, i believe this isnt the choice. but why not give it a try. you wont regret.

But, the GT line is far more better looking than the normal version. To be honest, it looks like an Abarth 595, but with grey paint rather than white. I've never seen your review(s), therefore I don't know what to expect. However, I enjoyed it. Thanks!
Whereas the EX's wheels are too small for the side profile, the GT Line although it looks good the 16 inch is a bit overkill to ride quality and replacement tyre costs, considering this is a budget car. Also the Nexen tyres on the GT and EX are good but let down the cars good NVH. Previous gen came with much quieter Hankook's on the 14/ 15" wheels. Interestingly the overseas gets a good alternative with a 15 inch wheel wrapped in continental premium contact tyres which is probably the best compromise.
It's a shame that this GT line does not equipped with a small turbo engine and 6 speed manual gearbox. It seems to have quite a good chassis to be a sporty lil hot hatch. I would rather take that combination and sacrifice sunroof reversing camera and leather seats.
I own one of these. Be prepared to theow out the awful speakers which are only 4 inch speakers with no tweeter speakers at all. However, once that is done you will have a great car that drives with the sure footedness of a medium sized car.
so basically its not a GT line. its a modified KIA picanto to make it look GT.haha. i was really hoping for a different engine. the word GT, S, Turbo is so abused by car makers nowadays
GT line without manual gb.. but ok la.. it is a city car to begin with..and as long as it quick & responsive ,it is acceptable car in this price point.
Please speak clearly and with proper dynamics for goodness sake. I have to increase the volume everytime you decide to go into whisper mode and with low tones. You might have come a long way since the past (I have read the comments) but you have to try even harder. Good try anyway, I’m not knocking you over as I find the shots of the car adequate which is the main point of a car review.
I just "rallied" the ex model at 80-90kmj on a gravel road.. the suspensions shock me.. i dont feel like I am on a gravel road.. it was so smooth but wont be doing it everyday.. dont wanna ruin the car😂

its the same as M Sport, AMG Line. Kia have their own performance variant GT spec cars as well. GT Line is just cosmetic changes
here and there the one with turbo is called the picanto gt...gt line means it wears all the gt spec accessories but not the engine
