I spent a year making almost 100 tracks without listening to anyone else's music , during the pandemic , I love hearing music from others , but sometimes you can get hooked to the idea that every artist out there already beat you to it Just remember, there's a lot of artists out there, but there's also so many people listening to music , there's lots of art and music that shares similarities but still ends up successful , so don't beat yourself up over it. Just make what you think sounds good
Yeah I’m here to have fun and watch him laugh and make beats and chill wit us I really just kinda stopped being apart of the community because let’s be honest yes it might be good advice but it’s really really boring
@@Southern_grown26 maybe the both of youse have soaked up what this guy is offering to the world and you're ready to fly on your own? this guy is trying to help out new people and he's doing a great job with it imo, don't put the advice down just b/c u heard it before
put it like this, people obviously get Roland Boss products because of Madlib and MF DOOM , but on the contrary i love artists like Koushik, Panda Bear, Dean Blunt , Flying Lotus . Artists who have the same equipment as there contemporaries but after there years of sounding like however . There stuff sounds completely separate, still similar in a way . but i feels good to hear project or two by 303 users and its not Madvilliany or other Stones throw stuff . so its super possible to reach into yourself and find that vibe
Watching this video Im in South Africa and want to start a youtube mixing and mustering channel in your bedroom and this guy just inspired me to try it ...
But how do you get noticed if your stuff sounds too unique or different? I'm trying to sell beats, but I have a hard time finding my customer base because I feel like my beats don't sound like other artists. I don't know how to identify my "type beat", so how do I get noticed?
🥀🥀🥀🥀 Fellas‼️... I'm having problems with my sidechaining in my limiter and my CPU. I keep ducking my high frequencies, making sure everything's going good checking everything on the mixer... and so on . The crazy thing is. is I just have the idea laid out.. No risers, no fallers, no zip zappies "poly" no extra things... And my CPU acts like it wants to start on fire....😮💨🤦... So at this point, I'm starting to think it's actually my equipment... I've got the HP 15 laptop PC with 8GB of RAM Windows 10.. Fruity Fire Edition.. one sample pack.. And the free version of vital... I'm mainly make beats on bandlab with their stuff... For practicing and to get my name out there and learn the social media aspect part of it.. Under RoseCovered GasMask But the whole time I've been on there.. I've been studying and learning... FL Studios. I feel stuck, not confident in my FL knowledge, and I keep releasing bandlab stuff.. I want to sound as good, if not better, with my FL skills than my bandlab stuff... I don't have much. so I can't just get whatever, so I really want to narrow it down... I really want the full FL Studios.. one drum machine for its sounds... a couple more sample packs... a new laptop with 32GB of RAM Ex.. the full version of vital... and the cheapest digital analog interface and monitors.. But this is a crazy amount of stuff... and I think it's going to be too much.. I've got a family to support I want this to be more than a hobby... Right now at this very moment I feel like I'll never get my dreams...
I haven’t watched Kenny beats since the cave tbh I’m here for entertainment on RUclips my dad was in the country music tour management business for 15 years if I wanted advice I’d just ask my pops

Yo I'd be down to hearing it to hear what it is
usually is its particularly unique you gotta lock in with an artist that gets it or find an alternate route maybe hella remixes etc
please reupload the cookups

What about not fearing your mix does not live up to the sound/genre and ends up being a wasted effort?
