- Frozen in time! Abandoned house in the woods with everything left behind (Time Capsule) Explore #81
Canada
This house was built in 1957 and has been sitting abandoned and forgotten for a very long time. Calendar on the kitchen wall says July 2000 what makes me believe this is the time it was abandoned. But looking around the magazines say 2006 so not sure. There is major decay here and also a tree has came down damaging the roof. This place is frozen in time (time capsule house) everything is left behind which amazes me. Beds are still made but the ceiling has fallen down on them.

About me:
I have been exploring abandoned places since I was a child and now I would like to film the explores and share the videos with you.
My father took me to my first abandoned house when I was 7 years old. I remember going into the house and a old farmer came in and told us "we better watch out as the floors are all rotten and unsafe". Ever since that day I was hooked on exploring abandoned places.
If you have a location you would like to share with me or want me to explore for you please send me an email at abandonedurbexcanada@hotmail.com and I will give you full credit for the share in the description and during the video if you choose.

Cars are a Buick Park Ave. about a 1978, the Monte is about a 1988, I enjoy checking the cars! See all the roosters everywhere, too?
Yes, someone had a thing for roosters.
I know people abandon their homes for all kinds of reasons but I happen to feel bad for them who owned these homes and now to see them in this condition makes a real sad thought of wonder in the mind☹️ I wish them all Peace, Love, Light wherever they are❣️
Same here-really awful that people deliberately go in and trash someone else's belongings.
Never understand why someone would want to rip apart someone's home, but the respectful explores here are done so awesome. Thanks for sharing another one.🌞🍁✨
Only a dying nation does that.
These types of houses always spur my wonder as to the nature of what happened to these families. To ponder the circumstances surrounding the abandonment of their lives brings about a sadness when exploring among the tattered remnants of their life. Your respect for their memories are a tribute to the spirit of true urbex. Once again Brent, kudos to you for your respect and reverence. Great video.
I got a real sad feeling on this video, but thanks for filming. Have a great week.
The abandoned car is a 1977 Buick Park Ave. Used to own one!!!
Great job exploring through a horrible mess. I get the feeling something sad happened on that property. I always try to picture life as it was or might have been. A great find, thank you!
It's too bad so much usable stuff was left behind. Sure makes you wonder what happened. Thanks for the tour!
Poor house. Rotting away like that is really sad. I'm glad you didn't open the fridge. Thanks for sharing and stay safe.
I was thinking the same thing about the fridge! Yes so sad about the house, it is so cute. I would love a little place like that.
I fear something sad happened to the ppl.
You ALWAYS have the best vids! Plus you’re a positive, nice guy!
Hey thanks Jan your awesome!
You’re the best doing the house in the woods type, been worth the wait for this one ! Also why can’t people respect others property and not smash things up ! What a shame ! 👍🏼
Thanks Jim
The Buick Park Avenue is a full-size luxury car built by Buick. The nameplate was first used in 1975 for an appearance option package on the Electra 225 Limited. It became an Electra trim level in 1978 and its own model starting in the 1991 model year after the Electra was discontinued. There were two generations of the Park Avenue that were manufactured in the United States until 2005. In 2007, the nameplate was revived on a large Buick sedan built by Shanghai GM for the Chinese market based on the Holden Caprice from the WM/WN range. The nameplate is derived from the affluent New York City boulevard, Park Avenue.
That's good Park Avenue info. The one here is from 1st-downsizing generation 1977 to 1982(?)
You know your cars 😁👍
I want the Buick wonder how Rusty that thing is
AKA deuce and a quarter
Google is your friend. 😂
As a Professional Declutterer & Organizer, these explores with full contents left behind always make me just a little sad. I can envision how it used to look.
Yes! I always want to start cleaning them up, and drag out the junk that has fallen from the ceiling and walls. I would love to have a little bungalow in the woods like that. Very sad to see it go so unloved.
I'm still collecting 1970s to 90s tabloids and magazines and memorabilia
Catalogues too are fun. Those old department stores long gone in Canada. Remember the wish book:)🌞
Omg yes I sure do.they are awesome
Awww you're welcome
omg yes I sure do remember!!!I do Christmas n Hanukkah,so I had alot of fun back in the day with those,...Lol
You were brave to go in there, what a mess! Thanks for the video!
Agree-he sure is, that one looked ready to completely collapse. Best channel-done so well always.
I love these tours but they always make me so sad. It was probably an elderly person who passed and left no one to care enough to salvage the belongings. So many memories left abandoned.
Great find on this old house. To bad it was left behind to waste away. Next time you find an old cars and you want to know the make model and year. Open up the driver side door and look for the stickers on the outer door or inner door jam. That will give you all the information you need to know about the old vehicle. Keep up the good work on the videos I really enjoy them!!!
Great point-never knew that:)
Brilliant, and good to know. ☺️
Awesome thanks!
man i wish someone would rescue and restore these old cars, they could be so cool.
Yes! Such a waste.
Call Vice gripe Garage, Derrek will come and get them running.👍👍🇺🇸👍👍👍❤
Great find! sad to see this place was just left behind to rot. the vibe I get is it was a once well taken care of little home. A cute layout.
I grew up in a small home such as this, but loved it! I thought of it as cozy 😍 I love the black & white pic on the wall of the 2nd BR you showed--I love classy vintage pics like that! Love the Monte Carlo too, such a shame to let it rot. Thanks! Love, hugs & God Bless you 💞💞
It's always sad to see places destroyed by people. Definitely an old person lived there by the saying on the fridge.
This one is very sad. Some awful folks out there.
I really wanted to see the inside of that refrigerator.
I was thankful for him that it didn't happen lol
So did I, for some reason. Morbid curiosity, I guess.
Hahahaha. Me too
Same I was excited the whole time and got kinda disappointed
Nooooooooooo please, no fridges, no toilets
So sad to see the house just return to the earth.... seems like that is what’s happening! Thanks, Brent!!!! Always so glad to see you!!!
I always enjoy watching you show those deserted places. Thanx Brent.
It always amazes me how much gets left behind. I spotted 2 Knob Hill Farms baskets in there and that brought back some memories (I still have one). I wish there was some way to stop the people that trash these places. Their lack of respect makes me sick.
Always good to see a new Video Buddy!, What you were smelling in the RV/ Trailer was probably Formaldihyde, They used to put it in Paneling, It's always worse when a Trailer is closed up in the heat!, It can even make your eyes burn too!
Thanks! Ya I didn’t feel safe it was pretty strong the smell
@@AbandonedUrbexCanada Yeah, I can remember looking at new Trailers with my parents when I was a little kid in the late 60's early 70's in the Summers, Stuff would Burn your Eyes and Nose, It was put in Paneling for a Fire Retardent, Creepy thing is it's also one of the main things in Enbolming Fluid!
@@AbandonedUrbexCanada You should always wear gloves and a mask in these places.
This place is so interesting. No, not a mansion but someone's home that had made do with what they had. Thank you for the tour. I always look forward to your videos. Stay safe.
I find these Explores utterly fascinating but at the same time so very sad for the lives that have passed.
Glad to see your video.. I have been looking forward to it! The poor old house…
I love this explore. Take care 😊🙂💕💜
That was a good find.
You can see that the porch with the bathroom was an add on.
It looks like it was a cottage and then became a home.
It’s always creepy when you see the beds made
They liked their TV!
The bonus was the trailer…had a 70s look to it
Take care until your next adventure 🇨🇦 ❤️
Great videos Brent!! I’m now over the pond but grew up in Ontario. Love seeing the old farm properties!! Keep them coming!!! 👍
Look so forward to your video's missing seeing them more often pray all is well
I'm liking that old trailer!! Cool find Brent!! I'm used to seeing those small houses around here.. very rare to see one of those big ones like you do... Love it!!
Wow that place is small, even before you went in I thought that’s tiny from the outside! Amazing how everything is left behind. Why do vandals have to wreck places?😡 The bedrooms sure were tiny! The one with the bunk bed, that ceiling fan was awfully close to the top bunk!😲 Great find and awesome video!😊😊
that was a really cute place in it's day...shame stuff just gets left to rot.
That was neat...not too big and not too small. Glad to see another video from you!😊🇺🇸
Hey Brent, recently stumbled onto your channel and I been enjoying every aspect of your work. Your calmness, pop-ups containing info on items you discover, background music and the things you find most interesting. I'm binging your channel the past few days and loving it. Keep up the incredible work my friend. Oh and hello from Pennsylvania! P.s I lived in a 120+ yrold farmhouse before.
Hey thanks so much Dustin!
I just started watching your explorations. I really like your calmness and respect 💞
This was a nice find. Sadly it looks like whoever left was planning on coming back. Wonder what happened. Thanks for sharing.
IAM happy for your New video thank friends
My second comment, but as I am watching I just cannot get over the amount of damage, its like what kind of people would come in and destroy all the stuff? act like animals more than human beings. very sad!
I love that painting in the 3rd bedroom, it's really cool!
Thank you Brent!! That was kinda a cool change in things!! As always love your content!
Thanks cat!
Wooow this is was the best 17 minutes spent with my favorite explorer 💪Yesterday was my lucky day after Djokovic's victory at Wimbledon 🏆this and my happy night because of your new video had something better 🙌 wooow this is unbelievably really frozen in time that old kitchen, old stuff, old sidecar and car really another excellent video I enjoyed that adrenaline as I watch is always present you're a Genius as Djokovic is the best in tennis in the world so are you in this No.1 Bravooo 💪👏👍Big greetings and kiss for my favorite and the most charming and handsome explorer with the most beautiful smile from other side of the world 🌏 from Serbia 🇷🇸❤ Be careful and take care 🇨🇦❤😁
So many compliments Jelena! Thank you very much your very kind 😁
Best day ever 1.italy won the euros and 2.abandoned urbex Canada uploads
I agree with you
We’ve missed you.💛Nice explore. Keep ‘Em Coming!
Another great explore Brent. Sad when you think about it. That house was somebody’s home. Everything left behind like they didn’t exist.
OMG I’m so hooked. The things I’ve told people I’ve found or seen, they just never could imagine until I took them. I’m so so so in love with this content. I’m so glad you’re doing this.
PLEASE tell me if anyone has EVER EVER EVER come onto one of your videos and said something like, “this was my family’s home/this is my friends home/I used to live here/I know the story here/etc.” ?!?!? I’m dying to know and I really hope you see this and respond some day.
I enjoyed your filming and narration. So sad when vandals have gotten in. Why do this to someone else's property like wild animals? You could tell beyond the vandalism that whoever lived there had taken care to make their beds b4 leaving. Makes you wonder what happened. Thanks for an interesting explore!
Loved going along with you Brent. Must've been a cozy little home at one time.
The decay is understandable; but the Vandalism is Not😡. Those nasty people have too much free time on their hands! They all need Full Time JOBS!!!
As always, you did a fabulous job exploring, from start to finish❤
Thanks much Brent; and stay safe!
I will never understand the urge to destroy that some people have. What a sad little house but being near that road would drive me crazy! I've given up with RUclips sending me notifications - just have to keep checking to see if my favourite, gorgeous explorer is ready with another explore! Gill 🇬🇧
Hey Brent...nice to see you back with another great explore. It really was quite a mess though...great job on the filming and music as usual.
Thanks Wanda 😁
The child in me is looking for an abandoned, fully-furnished house in which everything works - faucets, shower, stove/oven, TV, etc. Excellent insulation and winterized. Not rotting away. Not too isolated. Electricity works. With a village nearby... All free to use. Do such houses exist?
You make good videos. Keep 'em coming.
No you have to buy the house to live there
Another great adventure, Brent! Thanks for not opening the fridge... You really have to wonder if a resident passed on when you find a time capsule like this. Sad in any event. Thanks for taking us along! Stay safe my friend!
Great video Brent. As always, be safe and be careful. See ya in the next adventure.
Thanks Vicki
Yay a new video!!
That house was a charm in it’s day. Sad it’s left to rot
Sad to see all the decay and vandalism. Wish I knew why they left in the first place. Lots of kids toys and bunkbeds. If you can find out more about the previous owners could you please come on and let us know? Thanks Brent!
For sure!
I have just discovered this channel where have l been!! Love it exploring old house's random buildings brilliant 😊 love from Ireland 🤗
Thanks for finding me 😁 👍🏻
So glad you are back!! Lots left inside.
Nice little house, too bad it's destroyed. Thanks for the tour 🙂
Hi from western New York. Great to see your smiling face again. That was a cute little place. I can’t believe you didn’t open the fridge. Glad you were wearing a mask. Take care
Sad to see so much usable stuff wasted. Cool find but still sad if someone lonely just died and there's no one to take care of that property.
Gosh the bathroom was very small almost claustrophobic. Good to see you back with another explore. Quite noisy with all that traffic.
Hi Brent!! Good to see you 😊 I was picturing in my mind you opening the fridge and getting the heck out of there 🤣😂. Always a pleasure to watch your videos! Thank you for the tour 👍
I enjoy your videos and you are smart to be wearing a mask 😉. Stay safe so you can make more videos.....
Good to see you Brent!! Thanks for the video
"It's on the main road"
Sounds like it's next to an active helipad
Sure does, a lot of noise. Wonder where the location is?
Imagine living with that racket...yikes! 😣
This video is awesome.i loved seeing all the stuff left behind.Your channel is terrific
Thanks!
Awww no problem
Great great great Urbex!! Your footage is so awesome !
Thank you very much!
Wow, talk about take your toothbrush and leave. Smart to leave the fridge until last. I can't believe you didn't open either fridge. hehehe, however the trailer did have that bad smell. That old Fawcett heater, I remember we had one like that growing up. Thanks for sharing there Hottie
Save our houses... Save our history....
This one seems to far gone....
Brent! You always open the fridge! I know this is an old one but now you have a reputation of satisfying our curiosities! Lol!
I’m so very glad you wear a mask when you see mold!
It's an awful shame. I do wonder what happened with this one. Thanks for sharing 👍🥰
Awesome job on this exploration Brent! I really enjoyed this video.
Thanks mike!
Thank you Brent for taking us with you on your explores. I always enjoy the walk thro the woods on the way to and from these places. That was a good little house before the roof collapsed and let the weather in and the destruction of stuff by the little hoodlums who have nothing better to do than break up glasses and crockery and toss things around. Someone would love to own and restore those classic cars. I always wonder why it takes 20+ years for the local council/ tax people to do something to get a dwelling back in shape or sell as is to be redeveloped. It is a wise man (you) that didn't open the fridge - it could have been pretty nasty...
Brent what a Beautiful Explore, so respectful! A lot of things on the land that you captured so nicely! Great job filming and editing. Always like to check out your IG page for the photos too! Please stay safe out there and Thank you so much for sharing this one with us! 🏡 ❤️
Thanks so much bsage. Little place but I liked it 😁
Awesome again!! It was a weird mix. Was thinking older couple for sure, but a lot of evidence of kids. Even a baby bottle in the sink. Love the vids!
Loved this one , makes you wonder if them walls talked what stories we’d hear….did you open the fridge?
The trailer was in better shape than the cottage! I wonder if it was a vacation home (and the trailer to house extended family on visits) and after the owners passed away, it went to their kids who used it for a while? Maybe they now live far away or are physically unable to care for it?
I'm in Minnesota and we've often rented private homes on Superior. Some of those are passed down from generation to generation, but the current owners in the families live on one of the coasts. One place, the current owners lived in Texas and only made it back to use the home once a year. The rest of the time it's rented and the rental company manages the upkeep. In a less high-demand area, those kinds of companies don't exist and the home would fall into disrepair.
Good work.. thanx for the effort you put in.
Very sad indeed, I fear what will happen to my things. Very good video, the old Refrigerator in the shed is worth saving, they are quite collectible. 🤔👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸❤
Wow the property is huge! House is a mess. Great explore!!!
My Favorite Explorer is at it Again !!! 🥰🥰 Love this little house . Keep them coming Brent 👍👏🙋♀️🤗🥰🥰🇺🇸🇵🇷💯‼
Amazing
Really cool explore Brent. We are elderly couple from Louisiana, USA. We've been subscribed and enjoying your channel for over a year. Good job
Oh thanks so much Donald 😎👍
Thanks Brent for the explore!!!
Looks like another shattered dream ..
Find these curiously relaxing but sad there was a life there once I wonder who they were? what memories they could share of a slightly older time lost to us now....England.
Back ground sounds give it an erie feeling
That is an older peoples home and they most likely had grandchildren. There are pieces that date back to at least the 30’s there.
The ashtray stand, large wood cabinet radio, the fridge in the garage, the handles on the cabinets.
The little cars probably belonged to the grandparents but the r/c one probably the grand child.
You ready? I’m ready, let’s go! 👍Yaayyy you’re back! Cool house, too bad vandals made their mark on the place, so unnecessary. You might regret not opening that fridge, who knows what could’ve been in there 😆
Awesome video as always!! 👍 Have a great week :)
At some point this was a nice little house. I'll never understand why people (adult or kid) deem it necessary to damage/ destroy other people's property, makes me sick. I wonder if the property is tied up in probate court searching for next of kin for ownership? I'm glad that you didn't fall through the floor, didn't look too safe.
Nice little adventure, Thanks👍
Quite a sad and bitter feeling to see someone ripping up these time capsules.
I got the feeling this was an elderly couple's get away cabin for family then they passed away. The reason I feel this is the lack of bills, paperwork laying around. Usually if it is a permanent home and someone passed away there's a lot more kicknacks, books, paperwork, etc. Also, that would explain the discrepancy between the calendar date and the magazines.
Great exploration. I always enjoy your videos.
The Monte Carlo was covered in a portable shed/tent that had collapsed
Nice Find..
Oh man! I was trying so hard to see what old VHS tapes were on the headboard in that 2nd bedroom. Lol.
Little Rascals and Polar Bear King where the only ones I could make out.
@@ryanmartie1244 , oh wow ... thank you! I also thought I saw Little Rascals. My other guess was Dennis the Menace. Lol.
@blue red , thank you. I will have to go back and double check now that I know what I'm looking for. Curiosity ya know!
11:04 Latch-door fridge: early '50s or older. After kids died climbing in and locking them (e.g. for hide & seek), the magnetic closure was developed - and countless latch fridges were destroyed. I have a LIFE mag. story about it 😥😪
