Great video mate! We recently stayed in a bothy in mid Wales, Lluest Cwm Bach Bothy. That looked like a great stay! Well done mate, and have a merry Christmas.
I recognised it from the thumbnail, I've been surprised/daunted by that crossing myself. If you're familiar with the layout of Derry Cairngorm I would've recommended going up and over it instead - even with the climb it's less distance and no stream anxiety. Another great video and I'm glad you put safety first.
Thank you for the route recommendation! Wasn’t the day for tops but if we go from the Linn of Dee it could be a good chance to bag some Munros as part of the trip!
Brilliant to watch, i love Scotland and enjoying watching your dogs certainly enjoyed the trip.
@@lola8414 Zach and Jocko definitely enjoyed their trips! A pair of good boys!
Good video thanks for sharing, good decision to bin the river crossing 👍🏻
Thanks Gregg, yes the Hutchie Bothy will be there for another day, atb!
Great video, I would say you definitely made the right decision. Dogs are lovely.
They are the best doggos, Zach and Jocko! Hopefully more memories to come with them!
Glad you retreated to Bob Scots Bothy. I know that area well and water rises so fast.
@@heather333 Thanks Heather, not the intended overnight shelter but glad to stay the night none the less! Fine Bothy and very warm with the fire!
Cute shelter
So beautiful river there

That's the infamous Glas Alt Mor ford. Usually a trickle but drains a huge area and rises quickly.
Many thanks! After consulting the mate we realised this was the last crossing before the Bothy (without a bridge), only a mile away!!
