BBC to Buy Premier League Rights? | Breaking Man Utd vs Liverpool Record

The record for the most watched EPL game in The UK is Manchester United v Liverpool, peaking at 4.8m viewers in January 2021. If the BBC were to air the Premier League they could potentially reach a new, bigger market of those willing to pay to watch live EPL games. Would you pay a licence fee+ to see live Premier League games on The BBC?
The BBC is at a crossroads in terms of it's future. However, The Premier League, keen for continued growth to help fight off any potential Euro Super League (and maybe the continued investment from Saudi Arabia) also has decisions to make. Could it be that the two British institutions can provide an answer for the other? This is a dive in to what the business model for such a deal could look like and why it may suit both parties.
