Tried to change one for the first time today, found out the hard way you can’t do it with out going in from the cold side, I was stuck for ideas with the gas pipe out, losing my mind, then I thought I’ll see if youtube has the answer, CP gave me the answer! Thanks dude, got me out the shit 👌🏽
@@cputilitysolutions how much did the part cost and what did you charge on the labor. Also, do you not get new o rings with the new p2p? And finally, what is the part number for the p2p?
Good video mate, have one too change myself, just silicone grease on existing o rings does the job then, tricky job if you do replace existing o rings, surely access would be awkward,is it best too remove cold inlet or could hot outlet be removed instead.
Can't do it that way on the ERP ones, I've tried it and the gas pipe gets in the way. You can do that on the older ones, as I've shown in one of my previous videos 👍🏽

Great video as always, where do you get those bags from? (Used for draining)
Amazon - folding bucket
First time I've seen it done on this model well in ma man 👌
Thanks 👍
Nice 1 man 👍🏻 just curious- what’s that Velcro strap on your right wrist ?
Magnetic wristband 😉

On the newer ERP ones the cold needs to be removed, on the older greenstars you need to remove the hot 👍🏽
Great video! Do you find you can get away with greasing existing o-rings or do you normally swap them? Thanks 👍🏻
I just grease up the existing ones mate 👍🏽
@@cputilitysolutions cheers mate👌🏻😁
Was this a 25 or 30kw just wondering if this can be done on the 30kw with the bigger plater
This was a 24, but I've done it on the 30 as well 👍🏽
@@cputilitysolutions safe
Good stuff mate 🙂
Glad you enjoyed
Can you explain how it overheats?
It gets blocked by sludge/dirt/debris within the system
@@cputilitysolutions you mean the ch water is blocked in the p2p?
@@lostinthoughtscalminsilenc8167 yup
That bag you use are they any good?
Yeah good investment
What’s the cost labour and parts

@@cputilitysolutionswhere are you based
Use some salts, clean the plate, put the plate back in, couple of quid cost.
Customer wanted plate changed 👍🏽
Do Worcester purposely make it difficult to service their boilers, you think they would make it so it would be a bit easier to get things out
Exactly!
Rather cut hot pipe as water never needs to be off then obviously apart from isolating under boiler

hey, whats the water bucket? That looks quite handy
Folding bucket mate
on Amazon, bout a tenner, great vid mate, tnx for making.
common fault on worcesters
Usually down to poor installation where the system hasn't been flushed properly
