I love that the cone was qwispey and qwunchy. You missed an opportunity to say that the frozen custard was qweamy. Was waiting for it and got disappointed.. :(
you can get them for quite cheep (£15) or you can put a metal bowl into a bigger bowl with salty ice water which will cool the ice cream through the metal bowl (table salt dissolving is an endothermic reaction meaning it sucks a lot of heat out of the water cooling it down a lot and the freezing point of the water also lowers down to -21°C or -6°f if done right)
I bought my ice cream maker in Walmart for around $20USD. You can also do it using two ziplock bags, one smaller than the other. Place the custard in the smaller bag, and place the smaller bag in the bigger bag that has some ice and salt in it. Wearing oven mitts, shake it around, tossing it between two people preferably, until the custard firms up
It literally cost 29 dollars and if you don't want to spend any money just use two bowls (one is filled with ice & salt the other is put inside the ice bowl)
Echo I mean this was more of a joke but like. 29 dollars is like, over half of my monthly food money, to put things into perspective lmao. I watch these videos more for entertainment and learning than actual desire to make any of the things, but thank you for your help.
